J and Jacob reached Chairman John and Madam Kelly who didn't notice their arrival. They were too engrossed chatting with the CEO of a certain food manufacturing company.
"Oh, sweetheart! You've arrived," It was Madam Kelly who saw them first and she immediately walked to J and kissed and hugged her.
"Hi, Mom," Jacob called Madam Kelly's attention, who seemed to notice only her daughter-in-law's presence.
"Hello, dear! You look dashing." Madam Kelly immediately eased his son's ego.
Then Jacob and Chairman John started to chat along with other businessmen. J and Madam Kelly remained standing beside their husbands.
J looked around. The whole place looked like a real casino. But the crowd and noise are too much to her liking.
If it wasn't for Jacob's plan, she wouldn't have a second thought of ditching this event.
