"We're going to live together?!" Sky looked startled.
Jennfier suddenly went red and stormed up to Sky. "Is that a problem?" She asked aggressively.
"Uh… of course not!" Sky said.
"Just caught me by surprise is all." Sky said.
She showed Sky the bedroom next to the living room and tossed him clothes, telling him to shower. While he did so, Jennifer went to the kitchen and started cooking dinner. Afterwards they ate together and talked, catching up on all the time they missed.
After a couple hours the two headed to bed. While laying next to each other Delphi's words echoed in Sky's head, making him wonder what she had meant by them.
"What's on your mind?" Jennifer asked.
Sky turned to her, a little surprised she knew he was thinking about something. "Did Aphrodite ever come to visit you?" He asked.
He stared into her sparkling black eyes as she pondered for a few moments before answering. "A couple months after you left, my heart suddenly started aching one day, then when I came back from training to shower I found a woman who looked like me but older sitting in my living room." She said.
"Immediately I knew she was Aphrodite." Jennifer answered.
"Did she tell you anything?" Sky asked.
Jennifer's face reddened. "Nothing important… but we did talk, she gave me some advice and stayed the night before disappearing in the morning." She said carefully.
Sky remembered back to what Prometheus had said about gods appearing in places where spirits were strong, then remembered how Demeter had appeared at Lucy's funeral, Hephaestus protecting the town and even giving Leeds a gift and now this. It all started to slowly confuse Sky, making him wonder why Delphi had even shown up.
"Why is something the matter?" Jennifer asked, breaking him free from his train of thought.
Sky took in a deep breath. "Nope, just curious." He said as he clung onto her tighter.
"Good night." She whispered.
"Good night." Sky whispered back.
For the next three days Sky wandered around the city, helping whenever he could and when he couldn't he would spend time with his mother in the infirmary or training. As quick as they'd come, the three days had passed and now Sky stood atop the Memorial Hill the morning of the fourth day, watching the beautiful sunset come up.
"It's pretty." Jennifer said, holding his hand and standing next to him.
"You should see the sunrise at Eagles Nest." Sky said.
"You'll have to take me one day." She said happily.
"Alright you lovebirds!" Rune interrupted, suddenly surprising them, "Let's go."
Together the three of them made their way down and into the town hall to find Kronos and Prometheus dressed for battle.
Kronos had on a white shirt with its sleeves rolled up and a black vest over that with plaid gray pants and a stopwatch in his left pocket. He was wearing a tophat and had his gray hair tied back into a loose ponytail, allowing some bangs to fall down the side of his face. In his right hand was his scythe, giving off a cold aura as always.
Standing next to him was Prometheus in a tuxedo, his hair slicked back and next to the both of them Atlas, still in a muscular form and wearing torn shorts.
"What's happening?" Sky asked.
"We thought about it over the past few days and well, if the titans are there then they aren't your concern." Prometheus said.
"What he's saying is we'll handle the titans, you guys just focus on fighting the giants." Atlas clarified.
"You're coming with us?" Sky asked.
"Yes, that was implied, Sky." Kronos remarked.
Sky smiled. Together the twelve demigods along with the three titans and three moons stood together fully dressed for battle.
"Now then, like I said before we head straight north, into the mainland from there we go northwest, we've all been there before so it shouldn't be hard, with Neutra and the titans we can get there instantly." Rune explained.
"We're going with the assumption that the giants know we're coming, that means that while we climb the mountain we'll encounter some foes of some type, be careful." Rune said, his eyes started glowing gray.
"We all have a role to play in this quest, without it we can't advance, so make sure you do your jobs!" Rune instructed.
Together the group made their way outside where a few dozen hand picked warriors were standing ready. Groups were formed, dividing each of the members evenly where they could place their hand on the one of the four travelers. Very quickly, the large group had been transported along with the equipment to the base of Mt. Olympus.
Sky was a part of the last group, along with Rune, Lea, Bahrny and Leeds with Atlas warping them. Once the six of them arrived Sky marveled at the mountain that lay before him.
The sky above it glowed purple and pink with dozens of stars and galaxies being visible, making the summit seem almost ethereal. The mountain was a deep purple mixed with light blue and had snow covering half of it. From where they had warped they would have to run across a pathway that ran past a large river, which seemed to flow up into the mountain. Oddly enough, this wasn't the only mountain, there were several others in the range that matched Olympus' glow and presence.
"Alright… let's go!" Bahrny said to Rune whose eyes still glowed gray.
Together the large convoy made their way along the large path at the base of the mountain until a small crack the size of a mouse could be seen. Bahrny signaled for everyone to enter it. Upon getting closer, the crack disappeared, revealing a large cave entrance, the inside of which was lit up with stones Sky had become very familiar with at Eagles Nest.
The convoy continued walking, uninterrupted until they reached a large open space, full of several underground lakes and rivers. From the far wall Sky saw the opening through which the water from below was flowing up.
The colors of the cavern danced between a light blue and a deep purple, making it incredibly hard to concentrate As they walked, something to the right caught Sky's attention. There was a gigantic lake present with a smaller island in the middle of it and several stalagmites poking out from under the water. Of the stalagmites poking out, a few had lost their point and flattened, making great sitting areas.
"It starts." Rune suddenly said, freezing everyone in their tracks.
From the lake, bubbles started floating to the surface, getting more and more violent and larger before suddenly stopping, filling the air with a cold silence.
"Going somewhere?" Said a hollow voice.
