Nebula leapt onto the roof near where Carla was standing and turned around looking at the small women who was smiling as she saw the scared prisoners.
"Is it that amusing to see people who fear you rootface?" Nebula growled.
Carla turned around slowly. "What'd you call me?!" She said in a low voice, flicking a finger.
SLINK! A brown root tore into the side of Nebula's body. "Weak." He growled as he ripped it out.
He started walking toward Carla, with each step the wound healing. Curiosity and amusement flickered in Carla's eyes. "Snake Dance: One Thousand Bites!" She said as five more roots grew out from behind her, each dancing like a snake before suddenly becoming rigid and starting a relentless strike.
Nebula continued to walk, with each hit he staggered but nothing stopped him as the wounds kept closing quicker and quicker. "GRRRR!!!!" He growled revealing a row of sharpened teeth.
"You're a cannibal, aren't you?" Carla asked.
The word infuriated Nebula. He snapped his head to the left, catching one of the roots in his mouth and tearing it apart. "Call me that again!" He growled.
Carla started the word but was unable to continue saying it. She sensed that if she did, she would die. She watched unsettlingly as the giant man grew closer and closer to her. With each step he reminded her of a hungry tiger, waiting to leap onto his prey. Suddenly becoming nervous she took a step backwards and summoned more roots, desperately increasing the speed of the attack.
Nebula continued walking, picking up the pace. "Tear and Gorge!" He suddenly shouted.
Violently, Nebula started slashing and biting at the roots, ripping them apart as soon as they reached arms length. With each step, now running, he approached Carla who was now desperately trying to keep him away. Finally she too now had entered slashing range.
With a swift swipe he dug his nails into her abdomen and twisted his body. "AAAAHHHHH!!!!" Carla shrieked as the pain spread throughout her body.
Nebula continued twisting until he saw the arena that had suddenly started cracking. "GO BACK TO WHERE YOU CAME FROM!!!" He shouted as he threw her.
From a distance he could hear a destructive impact as shrieking and shouting could be heard from there. The last wound finally closed as he wiped some of the root off his face. "That hurt you stupid brat!" He rubbed his wounds.
After he was finished he saw Rune running up to him, quickly able to figure out what had happened and where Carla was now. "We gotta hurry up!" He said quickly leaping into the hole.
Once inside they saw that Nova and Neutra had cleared it out. Once they made their way to the top of the roof they saw Nova standing and watching the arena while a dozen people stood around, waiting for their turn.
"I guess, now we wait…" Rune murmured.

Sky watched in horror as Lucy healed Bahrny, completely sealing the wound making it seem as if it never happened. He then stood straight up and stretched. "I can't be wasting anymore time." He said.
With a snap the black mist that had spread over the battlefield quickly started forming an orb to his right. As that was happening his hazel eyes started glowing a cyan green as more and more cracks appeared on the ground below.
"You see, when a powerful warrior dies… Their body may waste away and turn to nothing but their spirit remains strong in Elysium." Bahnry started talking.
An unsettling feeling started to spread over Sky as he saw a giant hand come out from underground.
"Now you might be wondering what does that mean?" The orb started to shift and morph into a wispy throne with bones and skulls decorating it. Once it had finished Bahrny took a seat with Lucy sitting on the armrest to his right. "It means I can use any warrior that has died." He smiled.
Sky saw more hands clawing their way out of the ground. As a few had already started taking form.
"For starters, say hello to the Eleven Phantom Heroes." He waved his hand.
A chill ran through Sky's body as he looked at the eleven warriors standing before him. Each had its own unique form. In the front was a man who towered over Sky. He was glowing green and dressed like a traditional knight, he was the one Sky assumed to be Capricorn. To his right was another giant man, glowing blood red with long, talon-like fingers. Standing to Capricorn's left was a slender man with long hair who glowed blue and held a long trident. In the back, a short stocky man glowing orange could be seen, as well as four rather tall ladies who glowed gray, white, purple and yellow. Next to the blue man were two more individuals, one who glowed pink with a staff and another with a hood who glowed silver.
Sky turned his attention to Bahrny who had someone else standing to his left. A tall, lanky looking man that hid behind the throne and with his unusually long neck, seemed to whisper to Bahrny. His glow was different from the others as it matched Bahrny's wispy form rather than having a concrete color.
A sharp pain ran through Sky's chest as his attention snapped back to the front. The red man was now in front of him, his talons in Sky's chest. With a jerk he pulled them out, leaving Sky in a coughing fit, leaking blood from his mouth and chest. Sky sensed another attack coming and leaped upwards only to feel another sharp pain in his back as he caught a glimpse of a blue shoe before he was sent back to the ground.
WHAM!!! He created a small crater in the sand. Realizing he had to move immediately, he vanished, seeing the gray and white glowing women giving what seemed like orders to the others. Out of the corner of his eyes, Sky caught a flash of green and quickly twisted around, bringing his sword in the direction of it. As soon as he did it vanished and suddenly from where the blade initially was he felt a sharp pain along his side followed by a dull growing pain.
WHAM!!! Before he knew it he was lying against one of the walls, in a hole.
"GYAAAHH!!!" Sky gasped for air.
"They're faster than level two…" He murmured, realizing he had lost the only advantage he held in the fight.
His eyes danced around, unable to find the clock. His brief moment of rest was over as Sky saw the silver man leap up and draw back an arrow. Sky forced the cloak to start again and leaped forwards, narrowly avoiding a laser like arrow that would've torn a hole through his chest.
As he got up on one knee the pink glowing man suddenly appeared before him, striking his staff against Sky's head, sending him back down. Seeing another slam coming, Sky rolled away and quickly spun himself onto his feet, grabbing his chest where blood continued to fall endlessly.
"This is gonna hurt… but I have to…" Sky murmured to himself as he instinctively spun around and swiped his blade down.
TWANG!! He barely parried the jab from below, giving the blue spearman a slight delay before his next attack.
"THUNDER GOD: LEVEL THREE!!" Sky shouted as the lightning drew even closer to his body, cloaking the blade as well this time.
ZIIPP!! He was finally able to see the spearman's attack. TWANG! TWANG! TWANG!! He parried as he landed, quickly pulling back and swiping horizontally as hard as he could.
FSHHHH!!! The spearman slid on the sand, but before he could continue attack Capricorn appeared once again before Sky. Despite being at level three, Sky couldn't see any of what Capricorn was doing, blocking and parrying on pure instinct.
As Sky struggled to live his eyes drifted to Capricorns for a split second. The two locked gazes and Sky's heart froze as he saw a single tear leak out of Capricorn's eye.
WHAM!!! Capricorn drove his shield into Sky's side, causing his vision to blur and his body to fly towards Bahrny. The man who was hiding behind the throne suddenly leapt out and grabbed what seemed like the air and pulled it to the ground, directly towards the front of the throne.
Like a doll, Sky's body followed the motion slamming to the ground in front of Bahrny. Unable to focus on anything but his short and shallow breaths, Sky stared, his face flat against the ground. He saw the devilish grin on Bahrny's face and for a split second, a look of worry flashed on the shadowy face of Lucy.
With whatever remaining strength he had left Sky pushed himself up, his hands and legs feeling like jelly as he did. He turned to his left, completely facing the throne as blood trickled down his stomach and legs. His face, covered in cuts and bruises as he bleed from his nose, ears and mouth. He looked to his right and watched the army of ten warriors slowly walking towards him. He looked once again at them, at their faces and saw, each shedding tears as they took slow steps towards him.
A sudden anger filled Sky. "WHAT DO YOU TAKE HUMAN LIFE FOR?!?!" He finally shouted.
One minute thirty seconds left.
