Sky's knees buckled before he caught himself. "What do you mean she's dead?!" He shook and lightly tapped the side of Don's cheek.
"HEY! WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S DEAD!!" Sky shouted, still getting no response from Don.
He looked to where the demigods had been pinned down, the rain getting harder and harder. Suddenly he took off, running as fast as he could to them, falling and tripping along the way as he did so.
"Atlas, you can let the other three go… we're not children." Kronos said, watching as Atlas turned his head and stared at him before grunting.
Slowly Max, Carla and Claire stood up. Immediately Claire reached for her quiver.
"STOP!" Max shouted, watching Claire freeze in her tracks, "It's over…" He turned to look at Kronos who stared back at him coldly.
SPLATTER! SPLATTER!! THUDD!!! Suddenly Sky emerged from the left, hitting the ground hard near Bahrny.
"SKY!" Jennifer shouted.
"HEY!" Sky crawled near Bahrny, "WHERE'S LUCY!!"
A cold chill ran through the spine of Kronos and Jennifer.
Bahrny slowly turned his head and growled. "I don't answer to you!" He hissed.
DON! The pressure on Bahrny's back increased. "AAAAAGGGHHH!!!" He grunted, clenching his teeth.
"Answer the question, boy!" Atlas' eyes glowed brighter.
"I don't know anyone by that name!" He finally said.
"SHE-SHE'S ONE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE DUNGEON!" Sky started shouting quickly, "SHE-SHE HELPS OUT AT THE INFIRMARY!!"
"SHE HAS A SON NAMED MATTHEW!!" He continued, "SHE'S THE DAUGHTER OF DEMETER!!"
He tried remembering more things about her before looking back at Bahrny's cold, uncaring eyes.
"Why would I care about some useless fodder living in the dungeon?" He replied, freezing Sky in his tracks.
KRAKOW!!! A bright lightning lit up the sky as suddenly another shadow appeared on the plains. The wind hissed as another bolt of lightning lit up the sky, bringing with it three more shadows.
In the front of the three was a man with surfer's hair that had white strands running through it with a black and white striped goatee. Going down the right side of his face was a large and deep scar. He was wearing a singed, tattered, loose red shirt with parts of the yellow flowers burned off and ripped cream colored shorts. He had lost his flip flops and now stood on his soot covered feet.
In his arms was a pale body. It had light, red hair that fell down to the middle of her back and dark, sunken eyes. Her cheeks even more sunken as the once red lips were now purple. She appeared to be in her late twenties and had large gashes all over her body, with a giant hole going through her lower abdomen. Her green top was torn and covered in blood, some still fresh while most of it had dried up. Her black pants were no better torn and tattered, covered in blood and dust marks where heads had once rested.
Sky weakly rose up and swayed over to where the man was, stumbling and collapsing as he saw the pale, lifeless face of Lucy.
Sky looked up at Leeds, eyes wide open allowing oceans of tears to trickle down his face. He bit his quivering lower lip to keep himself from breaking down, trembling as he held the body.
"We need a shroud!!!" His voice cracked, "A shroud for the daughter of Demeter!!!"
"AAAAAHHHH!!!!" Sky cried as Leeds buckled to the ground.
Jennifer fell to her knees, her hand on her mouth as tears welled up before coming streaming down. Slowly Prometheus' head dropped, unable to speak nor look as Kronos did the same, hiding the small trail of tears on his face.
Atlas stared as tears trickled down his left, silver eye.
"There are no shrouds for fodder!" Carla yelled.
Atlas' head snapped in her direction. His eyes glowed more brightly than they had done before. Her body rose into the air as she looked around wildly before being slammed down into the ground. "GAAAHHH!!!!" She grunted as blood flew out of her mouth and down her nose. Again her body rose and was slammed and again.
"ATLAS STOP!!!" Kronos yelled through the tears, placing a hand on his shoulder, "There's already been too much fighting…"
The rain grew heavier and heavier as they all silently stood…
***
KNOCK! KNOCK!! Kronos walked upstairs into his room on top of the town hall. On the bed was Sky, still in a daze, emptily staring at the wall in front.
"Sky… It's time…" He said in a whisper.
Sky's mind felt hazy as he slowly and methodically got off the bed and followed Kronos. The rain had continued to fall throughout the night. Over the remaining half of the last day and night, Atlas and Prometheus had created a burial shroud covered by a giant coffin for Lucy. Now Sky followed Kronos deep behind the arena where he led him to a giant open field. Dark gray clouds had made their home in the skies above relentlessly soaking the land below with droplets the size of ping pong balls. Once there he saw a large burnt shroud, behind which were many smaller ones. Next to the large one was Lucy's. It was made of a golden wood, wrapped in beautiful and colorful flowers and bells of all kinds. Already standing there was an army of people, some of which Sky recognized from the dungeon while others he recognized from the march yesterday.
He walked past them as Kronos guided him to the front where he stood next to Atlas and three strange figures. Among all the attendees, neither Bahrny nor the other three who attacked them yesterday could be seen. From a distance Sky saw Don, still crying and shaking, unable to stop.
Once Sky had found a spot, Prometheus walked out and opened his hand revealing a warm, golden flame and touched it to the shroud setting it ablaze in a green flame. Sky watched, unable to cry, as the glowing green flame burned fiercely in the rain, refusing to be put out no matter what. From the corner of his eye he caught some movement in the forest, seeing a glimpse of blonde hair before it disappeared. Slowly, the titans all lowered their heads and said a few words as a prayer for a safe afterlife resulting in a sorrowful silence full of sobs and crying.
