"Ahhhhh" Grumbled Porphyrion.
He sat with his wrist under his chin as he stared at the large, closed door that stood in front of his throne. "Why must I be the only one that stays while the other giants get to visit the city?" He grumbled to his brother.
"Because you're the strongest of us all, and we need the strongest to protect our source of power." Clytius, Bane of Demeter explained calmly.
Tch! Poryphyrion clicked his tongue. "Don't try to sweet talk me Clytius." He began to move. "I think you're plenty strong, do well to protect our seats!" He said as he got up and headed towards the doors.
Just as Porphyrion had crossed the now quiet fireplace in the center of the room the large door eerily creaked open. "Now, now Porphyrion, let us not rush..." Said a man with golden eyes and a deep scar on his face.
He was dressed as sharply as the look in his eyes. He wore a black suit with a black shirt underneath with a red tie. He smiled as he looked at Porphyrion and continued walking his way into the room. Tap! Tap! Tap! His leather dress shoes echoed on the cold floor.
"Prometheus..." Growled Porphyrion as he made a fist with his right hand.
"Now, now, let's give this some… forethought shall we?" He smirked as he gestured to Porphyrion to take a seat.
Un-eagerly, Porphyrion returned back to his seat where he resumed his earlier position.
"The child you seek, his name is Sky." Prometheus explained.
"Sky..." echoed Porphyrion.
"He is the first child of Zeus to be born after Zephyr… you know what that means right?" He looked at Clytius.
"He's the only heir of Zeus, the only one who can kill brother." He responded.
"Very good, now as I see it you are presented with two options," Prometheus clenched two fists and brought them in front.
"You can leave for Hero's Stronghold now and slay Sky before he begins training, nipping the flower in its bud and preventing anything from happening." He opened the fist in his right hand. A small flame formed where a photo of Porphyrion standing over a dismembered body of Sky could be seen.
"Or you can wait patiently for Sky to come to you, of course when he does he will be stronger, and fight him when he challenges you for the seat." Prometheus opened his left hand revealing another flame where a picture of an older Sky could be seen clashing with Porphyrion.
"The answer is obvious, but how do we get to Hero's Stronghold?" Clytius snorted.
"Of course I will be your guide, if that is the path you choose." A devilish grin grew on the face of Prometheus as he turned to Porphyrion.
"How long will it take Sky to come here?" Porphyrion asked.
"Now… who knows..." Prometheus smirked.
"PROME-"
"BUT, I can say with certainty that he will put up more than enough of a challenge when he does come here, a proper challenge, even one that you can enjoy." Prometheus finished the last few words slowly, making sure Porphyrion understood them.
Porphyrion breathed heavily as he thought. After a few moments he had come to a conclusion. "I will wait, it has been a long, long time since I have faced a proper challenge." Prophyrion said finally.
"BROTHER!" Clytius started.
"Shut up! You get to face new demigods day after day after day while I sit in this throne room doing nothing but staring at those ashes in the middle of the room, if I am to fight a worthy adversary some day then I will patiently wait for that day!" Porphyrion spat.
"Prometheus, I will wait, but in return I want you to pay a visit to Sky and give him a message from me." Porphyrion turned to him.
Prometheus lowered his head. "Of course, Porphyrion." He said. Hidden from the gaze of the giants was a giant smile sitting on Prometheus' face. Everything had gone according to his plan, the giants had played right into his hands. He struggled to repress a chuckle, he had just negated a future massacre that would have taken place at the kingdom of the humans. After hearing what Porphyrion had to say he turned to leave the room.
"I thought I would just warn you out of courtesy, you are about to have guests very soon, do be careful." He warned as he left the room.
Prometheus stood still waiting for the large doors to close. "Dear brother, it looks like we will be meeting soon." Prometheus smiled at the moon that sat above head. A gentle glow of a flame started on the ground around him before suddenly erupting into a column of fire and embers. Once it had dissipated all presence of Prometheus had vanished, including the titan himself.
