Out of all the fourteen great families, some are more in the background than others, however, that is not the case when it comes to the Marry family. If anything was true it was the fact that out of all the families that lay claim to the title "great", the Marry family was without a doubt the largest and the oldest. There are no rules when it comes to becoming one of the great families but just as with time, all things change that is true even for the families as well. Then there are the five that just never seem to be shaken from their podiums among the great families with one of them happing to be the Marry family. They are not without their good parts as they provide armor and clothing to poor and unfortunate students as well as people in need. On the other side if the rumors are to be believed they will accept anyone into the family no questions ask if you go through their one trial but meet with consequence if failed.
It was slow getting there, I was doing my best not to attract any unwanted not after what happened with the Tnee daughter and brother. It was not until after I thought about it a bit that I realized who the two were, the duo prodigies from Germany. As time went on making my way to the disruption tent the Marry family had set up became a little easier after all the tent was nowhere near any of the food stalls along with most of the crowd being drawn away. The best part however was the fact that it was on the street which meant no more mud to slip in. After about ten more minutes of searching later, I found myself in front of the tent.
The tent looked like any of the others that the family had set up for the day a plan tattered canvas white outside with the picture of two hands holding each other on the outside in a rather protruding orange and gold mix. On the other hand, unlike most of their other tents, this also had a medical tent on the outside with two armed guards, I have always found this a little troubling. It was not that it was bad having them outside the medical tent but having them always there kept me on a thin edge so to speak.
Calmly, I slowly entered the tent-making my way past the guards that were protruding on the outside of the other half of the tent. I had seen the tent one other time they open to the public as in the past I had donated clothes, the place had been cleared out of almost everything very little left for me to choose. The only thing left was a pile of mismatched clothing on the floor that had been mixed with some mismatched armor pieces.
"I am sorry sir but we do not have any full sets of clothing left they were just packed up for trace port." The voice was partially a song for the room as it echoed from a girl behind the only desk in the back of the tent. Besides myself, there were two girls which were part of the Marry family at least that was my best guess. It was common knowledge that most of the tents the family runs are put on by family members or one of the many friends that the family has. As far as I know, there has never been a time that one of their tents or one of their booths has not been ran by a member not wearing the same uniform. In the past I had seen both of the uniforms at one time or another, the male uniform is in my own opinion rather is bland in taste, the male uniforms looked like they belonged on an office clerk. As for the female uniform that can be a little bit harder for me to judge, as I know why the female uniform looks the way it is. The female uniform in all its glory looked like that of a nun but in an orange and white color scheme without the headdress and crosses. At first, I questioned the look of the women when I first saw them. However, as it was explained to me the reason why is to keep people calm when the family is taking care of patients as they are a lot calmer when the women are dressed similar to nuns. I like to believe that the family does what it does out of their best for humanity and all the money that follows is just to keep it all up.
I made my way over to the pile on the floor and pulled one old-looking t-shirt that had no holes in it which was already an improvement from what I was already wearing. The T-shirt may not have been much but there was even a design on the front of the Marry family's logo. The feel of the shirt was much less to be desired the gritty mud felt softer. The downside to all of this was the fact that even tho I looked through the pile more than one time. the armor that was on loose display in the pile, as a perfect example of my luck there was not a single piece that would fit me. What was even worse there were no pants that would fit me ether not that the small leather short shorts would look on me anyway. This was the only time that I have in recent memory I wish I was two sizes smaller, there was a perfect pair of jeans that were just a little too small for me. That was then the young of the two ladies in the back spoke "if you want, I think we have just enough scrap material to patch your pants if you want". It was rather awkward as by the look of her young white skin she was half my age but the look on her face was genuine enough to make me honestly believe in her. I made way around the now many piles of clothes that now littered the shop that I had created in my search for pants. After getting past the wood desk and the other women she reached up to what looked like a zipper then proceeding to pull it down having it get stuck multiple times revealing a back room. The tent's backroom whistled as the air came through the holed in the backroom unlike the main. The only things in the backroom that I could see were an old rust dripping sewing machine and a few scraps of cloth one wood stood next to the table that the machine stood on and a metal chair at the far side. The lady spoke again
"Please take them off and go sit in the chair over their" the land point to the chair at the far side of the little cubby that made up the back as we both entered. With a quick zip, yank, and a breeze my hole-filled jeans came off and properly giving them to her, then over to the metal folding chair in just my pain blue boxer I went just as instructed. The metal chair was cold just like everything else in the back portion of the tent was the back portion was probably quickly installed last minute. I sat there for what seemed forever to me even though it was only a few minutes the embarrassment that I felt was nowhere even near the whistling breeze of goosebumps given up and down my legs.
