Once again, the Blood Jackal King rushed towards Zane wanting to bite his head off. Zane dodged the incoming jaw by few inches by moving his body to the left.
Meanwhile, Zane responded with a swift sword slash aiming at the neck of the beast. However, before it can connect, another claw was coming toward him. This claw did not come from the Blood Jackal King but from a regular Blood Jackal.
Zane was forced to retreat back again. He is now surrounded by Blood Jackals on all sides. Few of them tried to lounge at him but he was able to dodge them one by one. Although he was enclosed by the Blood Jackals, his high perception gave him the ability to respond on time like having an eye on his back.
The Blood Jackal King continued its frenzied assault. However, it cannot differentiate its own clansman. Its attacks were brutal aiming for a kill, and everything that stands in its way gets either bitten off or mauled. This was easily taken advantage of by Zane.
The Blood Jackals were only affected by 'Enraged' skill. Unlike 'Berserk', they can still think and feel pain. Thus, some hesitate to move forward and waited.
Zane started using the Blood Jackals that were attacking him as a shield and delay the monstrous beast. He just needed to wait till the Blood Jackal King killed all his own troops. With this in mind, Zane doubled his concentration on dodging alone.
A few moments ago, when the slaves saw that Zane was surrounded they felt pity and thought that it was only a matter of time before he dies. However, seeing that Zane was able to dodge and avoid all of the incoming attacks, they were in awe. They felt like he was dancing in a tightrope. His steps and counterattacks were very beautiful to watch.
Marc was the first to arrive at the scene, without wasting time, he searched for a way to attack the Blood Jackal King.
The opportunity was shown when the Blood Jackal King tried to bite Zane's neck. However, Zane was able to dodge easily. Instead of Zane's body, it bit another of its kind and tearing it in half.
Marc saw the opportunity and quickly stab through its legs. A bloody gash was left with its bones showing outside.
Now Zane already knew that Marc was looking for an opportunity. He already planned to prepare for the counterattack beforehand.
Zane dropped his sword and switch to his superior dagger that magically came out from his sleeves. He followed through Marc's attack with another quick slice targeting its other eye. However, it sensing the impending danger it forcefully moved its head narrowly dodging the dagger. Instead, a vertical bloody wound from its neck to its chest can be seen.
The Blood Jackal King with its blood-red eyes refocused its target on Marc wanting to tear his attacker apart. Being a level 8, he was able to contend with the wounded Blood Jackal King.
Zane and Marc continued their assault switching with one another. Although Zane's damage is not that high, he was able to continuously come and go as he pleased.
Meanwhile, the other slaves from the southern arena already clashed with the remaining Blood Jackals.
Old Gramps and his party also arrived after a few minutes. Without waiting, they went to help to deal with the Blood Jackal King. Now the battle is six versus one wounded Blood Jackal King.
Old Gramps party was attacking with all their might, wanting to take revenge for the death of William.
Zane retreated when he saw Old Gramps joined the attack. Few meters away from him he picked up his bow. He saw the Blood Jackal King bleeding all over the place, some wounds were very deep but its vigor is still strong. Although it was already six versus one, it was still able to kill two more high-level slaves.
Although Zane was extremely exhausted, he raised his bow and took aim, with a deep breath he releases two arrows penetrating its chest and stabbing it in the heart. With a flopping sound, the Blood Jackal King finally fell on its knees.
Everyone was exhausted. Marc and Old William received heavy claw marks on their body.
Using his identification eyes to the Blood Jackal King, the 'Berserk' status is gone and clarity can be seen in its eyes.
The Blood Jackal King felt weakness all over his body, he looked at his surrounding and he saw many eyes staring at him. Looking at his body, and he saw deep cuts that even his bone can be seen. Furthermore, two arrows were planted on his chest that pierced his heart. It knew that it was only about a matter of time before he died.
He looked at his tribe, slaughtered and none survived. Sadness filled his heart.
"What a cruel world," as he looked up in the heaven. Then looking at the crowd watching them like toys.
Finally, he looked at Zane. They both met eye to eye once again. He can feel that it was this person who killed most of his tribe. It gathered all of its strength and will, it roared and ran full speed.
Zane was shocked. He knew that the Blood Jackal King should not be able to run with arrows in its heart. He was really surprised at the tenacity of the Blood Jackal King.
Picking up one arrow after another, Zane shot it consecutively.
"Just Fckng Die!!" He roared.
The Blood Jackal King was riddled with arrows but it continued to run. It is only a matter of few seconds before he loses consciousness. However, he persisted, his one goal is to take the life of the person who killed most of his tribe. Although it was meaningless, determination can be seen in its remaining eye.
Enraged, Zane aimed and shot its other eye without hesitation. Making the Blood Jackal King blind. With a furious roar, Zane also ran towards the Blood Jackal King and aimed at its forehead.
"DIE!!!!"
The arrow pierced the skull then drilled into its brain. It loses its momentum. The arena was silent. Suddenly a 'thud' sounded. The Blood Jackal King is dead.
Zane was extremely exhausted, but to be sure, he quickly used his eyes to identify the Blood Jackal King on the ground.

Zane wasn't really pleased will all of the cheering, he prepared his arrows just in case they send a new wave of enemies. The others were also cautious as well.
