Chapter 32 - Mi Sun

She soon arrived at the clinic, it had been their family clinic for years, and they knew the family the hospital was a 4 storey building painted with sky blue, Cheng hospital, it belonged to the Chengs.

The entrance was made of two glass doors that opened automatically when it senses motion, she gently approached the door as they pulled apart for her to gain entrance she walked straight to the elevator to the third floor where the icu was located, she approached the nurses station, the hospital was a little rowdy and this was due to an accident that occurred in 4th street creo, lots of paramedics were on ground trying to save lives and some were severely injured to the point of being taken to the ICU, the stench of death made her sick, she wondered the true condition of her dad, she heaved deeply as she made her way to the ICU her dad was in a private ward, room 302, she stood at the transparent glass door as the sight of what she saw brought her to a still. Her heart races faster as fear encrypted her soul

"Charge!!!" the presiding doctor shouted

"Clear"

"Charge!!!"

"Clear"

"we're losing him"

"Push 20 mg of atropine, the doctor ordered as the nurse passed 20mg of atropine through his IV line"

"Charge!!!!"

"Clear!!!"

Beep beep beep beep!!!!! The sound of the monitor could be heard by the nurse and doctors trying to revive him

"He's back"

they heaved a huge sigh of relief as his blood pressure read 106/70mmHG

Mi Sun's mother, wiped the sea of tears flowing down her cheeks she thought she had lost him this time.

MI Sun was unable to breath for some split seconds, everything happened so fast right before her eyes, she had dropped her bag in shock.

A kind doctor was going past the hallway and saw her standing outside, he knew something was wrong merely looking at her eyelids and the direction they were facing

He gently touched both her shoulders,

"ma'am are you alright? It's okay now, he's fine" he said as he patted her back gently she came back to her senses

"Thank you doc?" she said with great difficulty.

"Are those yours?"

he asked pointing to the purse the floor, the content of her purse had spilled a little, she nodded, as he bent down to arrange her purse and handed it over to her

";Poor girl" he thought, he knew her father's condition was quite severe. She was oblivious to the whole thing. She had just seen her father resuscitated back to life.

Shocked, she collected the purse and thankes the kind doctor just then the door opened and it was her mother, she rushed and gave her mother a big hug

Her heart broke at the sight of her mother, she gently caressed her face, as drops of tears flowed down her cheeks,

"Mum" she called with a shaky voice,

"what happened to you? You're looking so pale and lean, have you been eating well?"

Her mother nodded her head slightly.

What happened?

She asked as they bother walked towards the long chair at the waiting area in the ICU floor,

Her mother was a strong woman, it was unlike her to break, whatever is happening was beyond her.

Have you told grandfather about this? She inquired impatiently.

"Yes, you know they'd never listen to me, the hospital bills are becoming too cumbersome, and I doubt your father's savings and mine would suffice."

She could see the anxiety of her heart on her face, she couldn't blame her mother, she was equally worried, her fees had not been paid, her father had made sure he gave her the best, she attended the one of the best universities in City B in Korea, her fees was worth 50000 dollars.

"where will I get such an amount" she thought to herself, she quickly shoved off the thought of that, her father's health was more important, they had to pay the bills, her father had been the one managing the company and they had spent a large chunk of the company's capital to treat her father, her grandfather couldn't careless, he had brought shame to the family, he had broken the family rule, but he was still the eldest son of the family and had rights to his father's properties and his siblings were not happy about that

Grand father Han had treated him as an outcast but he was still his son regardless but since his brothers had the most shares in the company, they had done what they saw fit.

Now, they had eyes for the part of the company he was handling cause it flourished really well, with him in the hospital they had made plans to snatch it all from them.

Just then the doctor in charge of her father approached them.

"Can I see you for a moment?"

"Just me or both of us"

Both of you is fine

They trailed from behind into the doctors office
