"I'll see you soon, great-grandpa," Jerlina said holding Jonathan's hand.
She could see the old man's eyes were red and she could see that he does not want her to leave. But she cannot stay here forever.
"I'll call you every other day," she promised. She was going to say every weekend but before she knew it she was telling him every other day.
"I'll eagerly wait for your call then," Jonathan brightened up.
"I'll call you right on time so you don't have to wait," Jerlina made sure to explain it.
The last thing she would want is this old man keeping on waiting for her call without sleeping or eating. She decided to set an alarm on her phone after discussing with Gordon about the optimum time to call Jonathan and decided to make the call on time.
