Narrator's POV:
- - - - - Meanwhile - - - - -
"Alright! Let's finish this f*ck*ng paperworks and let's go home afterwards... I can't wait to go to bed and be punctual for tomorrow's resumed reporting of Tigreal."
- Winston said as he stretch his arms.
*Calvin gasps*
"Wait Sir Winston, how about treating me to a drink?"
- Calvin funnily ask.
*crickets*
. . .
"I'll do that tomorrow... *ugh!* I don't have any peaceful moment today... And it was all thanks to that br*t... *sigh* What a pain in the *ss."
- Winston said in an annoyed tone.
*funny depressed noises of Calvin*
. . .
- - - - Outside - - - - -
[ Where Alucard's sitting ]
Outside of the Light's Order's establishment, there lies a beautiful ornamental flowers. The surrounding places are alike of a plaza where it is neatly arranged and provided with rectangular slabs where people can sit on.
The night has reached its highest peak, cold and breezy were howling in each ears. The sounds of the insects are loud and soothing to hear. As always, there are knights maintaining their patrol and their post for high security purposes.
But like other, knights are prone to tiredness and slumber. In each and their respective post, they've fell asleep.
*snoring knights*
The moon shines brightly throughout the entire Land of Dawn. Most people are soundly asleep in their respective houses but...
*weeping Alucard*
Young Alucard kept on crying near the ornamental flowers all alone. The breeze kept on howling but the tears of the young one cannot be quelled.
Alucard's POV:
*sobbing*
- - - - - Flashback - - - - -
"Your parents.... ARE LONG GONE!!"
- Winston immediately replied despite the great anger.
*gasps*
. . .
"F*CK YOU!!! STOP TALKING NONSENSE!!"
- Alucard exclaim as tears roll down his eyes.
"I AM NOT TALKING NONSENSE ALUCARD!!? This... is... Reality!!"
- Winston yells and end the hopeful minds of Alucard.
. . .
*shivering*
"So... do you mean that... Mama, papa, and the rest of his regiment except that arrogant b*st*rd... really Died?"
- Alucard ask with a distorted voice due to fear and emotion.
*Calvin and Winston didn't reply*
"ANSWER ME??! ARE THEY REALLY DEAD??!"
- Alucard exclaim.
- - - - - Flashback Ends - - - - -
. . .
*firm grip*
- - - - - Flashback - - - - -
"I hate to admit this but... I hereby declare that Sir Zemislav's Second Regiment, is officially marked as 'Rebels of the Light's Order'."
- Winston declares.
- - - - - Flashback Ends - - - - -
*gritting*
. . .
This... is so... frustrating!
*gritting*
I can't believe they actually labelled my Papa and Mama as Rebels...!
And.... and....
*snarl*
How could they declare that my Papa's Regiment are dead without confirming if they're alive or what??!
. . .
Is it because only that f*ck*ng *ss*d, arrogant b*st*rd came back by himself?? Or perhaps that s*n of a b*tch Tigreal told them without elaborating much of the actual event?
*tch!*
F*ck! *F*ck! F*ck!!? D*mn it all! Damn it!!!!
*drip* *drop*
. . .
My papa... isn't a Rebel... so as the rest of my Papa's regiment...
*sobbing*
My papa... is a great hero who valiantly confronted those filthy demons and drive them back to the pits of Hell....! He was known as 'The Demon Sanctioner' of the Imperial Knights of Order.
*sniff*
My mama... is bold and fearless that she exorcist the spirits who were enslaved by the Queen of the Dead and purify anyone who were corrupted with her powers which Mama earned a title of 'Undead Slayer Paladin' of the Light's Order.
So, how dare they referred my Mama and Papa, who are great heroes throughout the Capital, labelled them as Rebels??!
*grit*
This is unacceptable!... Truly unacceptable!!
*Alucard smashes his hand to the slab*
. . .
- - - - - Flashback - - - - -
"If sending someone to investigate is a pain in the *ss for you to deal with, then..."
- Alucard said.
"I'll be the one to look for my Mama and Papa instead."
- Alucard seriously said.
*Winston blurted*
"Hmph! Oh yeah?? Let's see if you f*ck*ng can, you delusional f*ck*r!!"
- Winston confidently said with a smug look on him.
- - - - - Flashback Ends - - - - -
. . .
Winston.... That golden *ss*d m*r*n...
*Alucard stand up*
I'll prove to you that my Papa and Mama are alive somewhere...
*serious looking eyes of Alucard*
I'll make you eat your f*ck*ng words and embarrass you publicity.
Did he ever think that I can't execute everything I said infront of his ugly face?
Hmph!
He's gravely mistaken as I, who'll do what it takes and, will surely find ways to make it happen...
I swear to God! I'll make that happen...
*stomp*
I swear!
Narrator's POV:
Alucard starts moving and decided to leave the premises of the Light's Order. But...
*marching sounds of the patrolling knights within the Order*
His schemes won't be that easy. Alucard is aware that the Light's Order is basically heavy guarded because of the Sacred Treasure that lies within.
The Moniyan Empire holds two Sacred Treasures: (1) A Stone that contains excessive amount of magical power bestowed by the Lord of Light, which is under the care of the Light's Order, and (2) a Horn that contains an unimaginable power to fend away any evilness imminating within the entire Capital, which is now safeguarded by the corps d'elite of the Light's Order at the Great Altar of the City.
. . .
The moment he's getting closer at the entrance door of the lobby, there are bunch of knights stationed in every corner. Alucard decided to head towards to another entrance but like always, they're heavily guarded.
*flop at the corner*
*tch!*
"C*rs*s!! I can't believe there are so many pesky knights prawling in here! Like, what the f*ck??! Every corner, and such are heavy guarded??! What the hell??!"
- Alucard curses, comically.
*pouts*
"So that's why that arrogant Winston is so confident on his statement. F*ck!!?"
- Alucard angrily said in a comical tone.
*thinking mode*
"What should I do?... I need to leave in this place but how?"
- Alucard angrily said as he kicks the air in a repetitive manner because of frustrations.
Alucard, who's been in a tight spot, kept on thinking and thinking on how to leave the place unnoticed by the knights. He scratch his scalp, massaging his chin, crossing his arms, and looking at the ceiling, just for the sake of getting new ideas on how to escape.
- - - 30 minutes later - - -
*snoring*
After thinking for a whole half hour, Alucard fell asleep. Our young, petite boy is having sweet dreams right now that he didn't heard that a new batch of patrolling knights came by and passed the boy.
The knights didn't want to break their formation but there's this kind knight strayed in his position, and decided to approach the snoozing boy on the corner.
*the Knight opened up his helm*
And it turns out that the kind knight is none other than Erickson.
"Hey, Sir Erickson? Stop slacking around and go back to your position!"
- the Squadron Leader yells.
"Sorry Sir but please go on without me. I assure you I'll catch up later once I'm done."
- Erikson replied.
"Make sure you'll catch up or else, our Troop Leader will surely punish us."
- the Squadron Leader warns.
"Yes sir!"
- Erickson immediately replied.
The squadron Leader resume their patrol session. When they turn on the corner, and vanished in Erickson's eyes, he then picked the boy in a piggyback position. He look closely to Alucard and he then smiled.
"What a troublesome kid."
- Erickson mumbled with an expression of being glad to see the boy soundly asleep.
*snoring Alucard*
"I don't know what to do with you lil' kid but maybe I'll ask the keepers for a spare room for you to rest."
- Erickson said as he walks, carrying young Alucard.
. . .
Erickson starts moving, not disturbing the young one's peaceful slumber.
- - - 12 o'clock Midnight - - -
( At Wertz's Household )
Midnight has fallen, most of the Moniyan Citizens have fallen asleep. Knights and other influencing people who possess powers in ranks are susceptible to slumbering state as well.
In Wertz's Household, most people in there are sleeping except Tigreal, who's been sitting idly in his bed, traumatized and trembling.
*Tigreal stares blankly*
. . .
Tigreal didn't speak nor perform any movements. All he ever did is just staring on the floor as his mind is shrouded in blank.
*crickets*
As he kept on staring at the floor, a flashback started to generate in his troubled mind.
*saddened*
A flashback where he remembered the gruesome battle of the unit he's assigned to.
*scream of agony rings on Tigreal's memories*
A battle where triumph's vague and imminent bloodshed towards the entire battlefield.
*frustrated Tigreal*
A bitter memories of the former battle are still fresh carved in his mind.
- - - - - Flashback - - - - -
( The Second Regiment Battle )
. . .
"I DON'T WANT TO DIE!! I don't WANNA DIE!!!"
- one of Tigreal's companions shouts in his memories.
. . .
"You COWARDLY FOOLS! Don't LET THEM GET AWAY! SLAUGHTER THEM!"
- Alice exclaims.
. . .
"We need to stay together, for there is hope for us."
- Margarette said towards Tigreal to cheer him up.
. . .
"MENTORS!!!!!!"
- Tigreal shouts.
. . .
- - - - - Flashback Ends - - - - -
Tigreal can't forget the tragedy that have happened right on his eyes.
*sob*
Especially the heroic sacrifices of his dear mentors in getting him to safety.
"Aaahh..... Aaahh!....."
- Tigreal cries in a prolonged way but faintly.
Everything that he have witnessed so far; tragedy, loss, griefs, frustrations, stupidity, failures, and more, causes young Tigreal's mind into mental breakdown.
*shatter*
. . .
Tigreal's POV:
*heavy panting*
It's.....
*flashback of a scene where a fierce battle of the second regiment towards Alice's minions*
. . .
It's all my fault....
*Tigreal heard Alice's chuckle in his head*
*grasp*
It's my fault that they....
*a flashback where Tigreal childishly removed the dagger from the ruins*
they all....
*a flashback scene where they all arrived in a battlefield that foretells despair*
*grits*
Died!
. . .
Why? Why didn't I listened back then?
*gnawing*
If only I, heed their warnings... Everything....
No....
None of this would've happened in the first place.
. . .
My mentors.... and everyone under the Second Regiment wouldn't... end up this way!
*Tigreal remembered the moment he stupidly challenges Alice*
. . .
*firm grip*
Back then.... I thought that... my capabilities as a newly pronounced knight of the Light's Order are....
*clashing of swords noises in Tigreal's thoughts*
Are.... sufficient... And qualified to partake any types of battle in every mission assigned to me but...
*shiver*
. . .
I was wrong...
*grasping scalp because of regret*
The battle simulation performed by my mentors and the actual battle.. are whole lot different than I could imagine..
. . .
I didn't expect it to be dire...
*sob* *sob*
What in the heavens have I think of understimating the battlefield back then?
*Tigreal remembered his arrogant response back when his mentors are giving him warning*
. . .
What a naive and pathetic br*t have I become?
If only I just listened to their warnings back then... And only if I paid attention to every command they said... and if I didn't let any reckless and mindless actions back then...
*firm grip*
I.... I....!
. . .
I was resenting myself for the sins I have done, a someone knocked the door which made me flinch.
"Tigreal, dear? Are you okay?"
- a female voice echoes beyond the door.
And it turns out that it was my dear mother.
"I heard some sobbing as I head back to Fanny's room just now. Is... everything okay in there?"
- my mother concernly ask.
"Aahh!... There's nothing for you to be worried about mother... Ahahah! I'm perfectly fine, like I used to!"
- I confidently lied.
"My nose is just itchy and it's such a hassle to deal with. But I'm all good as 'Nath' is giving a good care of me eversince I arrived. Ahahh!"
- I lied with a fake laughter.
"Oh? Is that so? Well, 'Nath' sure are taking a good care of you. I'm so glad I assigned her to your care."
- my mother gladly said.
"Anyway, I may now take my leave... Sweet dreams dear."
- my mother bids farewell.
. . .
*sigh*
Finally, my mother have already left.
. . .
*funny wondering noises*
Is my sobbing really that much hearable?
. . .
As I keep on wondering, my eyes kept on navigating the room and I...
*shock noises*
*Nath, blinking comically and speechless on the corner*
I didn't expect that 'Nath' is there. Standing wonderingly on the corner.
*quack!*
. . .
*funny blinking moments*
. . .
*another funny awkward noises*
. . .
*funny breeze passing by*
. . .
Of course... an intense awkwardness have dominated my quiet room somehow.
. . .
"How..... how long have you been here, Nath?"
- I awkwardly ask in a comedic way.
*Nath is wondering*
"About... an hour... Young master."
- Nath awkwardly replied.
*gasps*
"An hour?... Wait... Does that mean you... You..."
- I said as my body start to tremble.
. . .
'Nath' is only a nickname of hers which I invented to create bonds and familiarity towards each other.
She's two year old younger than me by the way... And she had a wavy, scarlet hair.
*funny blinking noises of Nath*
. . .
Oh yeah.... Before I manage to complete my sentence, I started to feel a comical fear in me. Knowing that, I've tried to hide my weeping as faint as possible, and I even lied to my mother just to avoid being caught in my state, but after all the misdoing Ive done... I.... I...
*funny blank blinking noises*
Didn't know there's someone who's been secretly watching me the entire time.
. . .
*Tigreal points at her in a shocked expression*
"You've... seen and heard it all, isn't?"
- I said as fear started to fill me up.
*Nath took a moment to breath*
. . .
"Yes.... I've seen it all... Everything."
- Nath seriously replied.
*dun duuun!*
. . .
*gulp*
. . .
After I heard her immediate response, a sudden chill ran down my spine.
*firm grip*
What an idiot I am!.... To be this reckless and unaware of my surroundings!
. . .
As I kept torturing my mind, tears started to swell on my eyes.
*sob*
I... can no longer hold my tears from falling into my cheeks.... I.... I want someone to-
. . .
*hug!*
*gasp*
While I was in an emotional state, 'Nath' embraces me unexpectedly.
"Na.... Nath!!?"
- I blurted due to a surprise.
"Young master Tigreal... I don't know what you've been thinking right now... But I can strongly tell, you're emotionally in pain."
- Nath said gently yet in a soothing tone of her voice.
*sob*
"It's okay not to tell me as I do understand that, not most of the people comfortable in sharing their burdens."
- Nath said trying to comfort me.
"But... If you needed someone to cry and lean on, I am here whenever you need me."
- Nath said in a gentle manner.
"Because I am Nata-"
- Nath said enthusiastically.
*firm hug and Nath gasps*
Before Nath finishes her sentence, I was moved by her words and I hugged her back. Not in a form of sadness but rather, a form of gratitude.
. . .
