Niu laughed at the shamelessness of Elder Su in his head. Here, this man claimed he was cultivating on the heavenly path, but is he really? He's as shameless as a demon!
"Agreed." Niu hid the mocking in his voice.
A crash sounded behind Elder Su. It was a boy with long black hair, and black, narrowed, scared eyes. It was clear this boy was going to be very handsome in the future.
"S-Shizun..." He stuttered out.
Elder Su looked at the boy and narrowed his eyes. "I am not your Shizun anymore, I am Elder Su Shui' (Shui means water I don't know how to accent it. -Koru)"
The boy bit his lip and lowered his head. "Yes, Elder Su Shui." He then walked towards Niu, hands clenched.
"I will send someone to deliver the items soon." Niu lowered his head slightly, and grabbed Zen and Kien.
They were both surprised when they suddenly were up in the air. Niu was having some fun. He used energy to boost himself in the air. He then glided down and began running really quickly towards his house. When they got to the small mountain, he jumped up again making the kids jolt.
Niu arrived safely and he let go of the boys hands. He then dusted himself off. He turned to the boys.
"This is where you guys will be training until you're old enough to look after yourself. I don't want to be strict, but I will not tolerate bad behavior. Leave all your past resentments so that you can cultivate successfully here." This was meant for Kien.
Zen bowed and clasped his hands. "This disciple understands."
Niu nodded and looked at Kien. Kien clenched his hands until they were white, then he said softly. "This disciple also understands."
"Mm, come in and rest first. We will began training tomorrow." Niu opened the door, revealing the small simple house. The red bed stuck out the most with it's unusual color.
"I will get someone to build a house for you guys to share. You guys get to know each other as I cook some food." The old Niu wasn't a social person, so he did everything himself.
Zen and Kien went to a fenced area.
"Kien, do you remember anything?" Zen looked at him.
Instantly, the sad aura surrounding the boy disappeared. "Of course I do, i'm not some idiot like you." He scowled. "You already changed the timeline, now we have no way to see the future."
"Heh, so you were acting..." Zen thought. "Well, what's done is done. But anyways, did anyone cast a reverse time talisman on us?"
"...I didn't sense anybody as we were fighting. I might have missed it, as I was focused on you." Kien went deep into thought.
"Hmmm i'll do more investigating in the future. But for now, what should we do? If there are people who also went back, they could take advantage of our temporary weakness." Although Kien and Zen hated each other, they had to work together to make sure they live.
If somebody was gonna kill them, it had to be between both of them. Zen killed people Kien had close to him, and Kien disabled people close to him. Thus their hatred was deep.
Although Kien is repaying Zen, he still hates Zen for killing those close to him.
"All we can do now is take protection from that...who was he again?" Kien noticed he didn't know Niu's name.
"Niu Ju. Even though we'll definitely get stronger then him in the future, he's our only protector for now."
Kien nodded his head. "Seems good."
"Alright, temporary truce?" Zen held out his hand.
"Mm." Kien took it and shook it, just in time for Niu to see the gesture.
"Yes! They're already bonding!! Ah..this feels nice.." Niu smiled, as he put the small meal of vegetables, meat, rice, and soup on the table. "Come eat, it's ready." Niu called out not too loud, but not too soft either.
Zen and Kien turned around and went towards the table.
"This disciple thanks Shizun for preparing us this meal." Zen bowed.
"Mm." Kien nodded his head, continuing with his act. Zen scowled at his shamelessness. But he didn't let it show.
"Haha, no need to thank me. I have the responsibility to feed you guys as your teacher." Niu smiled, but it wouldn't be seen through the mask. "Now, you guys can get settled in after you're done. I need to wash up."
"Mm!" Zen nodded, and excitedly ate the food.
"..." Kien didn't answer as he was surprised at how good the food was. Niu worked at home, so he usually cooked himself. Only sometimes when he was lazy, would he order food.
Niu was happy at his disciples, now the story wouldn't become trash! He went to the lake and gathered some water using some qi. He then grabbed a large wooden basket the old Niu used to bathe in. Niu heated up the water and took off his clothes.
There, he enjoyed the hot tub experience for a few hours.
