Chapter 3 - Chpt. 2

Darla sipped her glass of wine absentmindedly while watching her husband stand near one of the bay windows facing the west section of their compound. From here he could sight the cobbled driveway that snaked in a semi curve fifteen feet from the main gate to the front of the mansion located in Blue Ridge Hills. It was a suburban district situated forty miles from the airport.

Bernie wore a cashmere robe and held his wine glass in one hand while the phone was glued to his ear. His words were short and whispery. Darla could barely catch what was being said; Bernie wasn't giving too much, almost as if he was receiving a directive from whomever was calling instead of the other way around. That was surprising. Bernie was a senior company executive for a technology software conglomerate. He presided over the livelihood of half a million workers, and that's only within the USA, excluding Canada. In board meetings he was a no-nonsense type of fellow. Brisk with his words and curt when it came to verbal instructions. But that was the façade he portrayed toward his minions and people who knew him as related to his office. When he wasn't confined by the strictures of polite society, Bernie was a softie. His wife knew this, and had over the years exploited that innate part of him that was least known to the outside world.

She, however, wasn't the only one aware of his secret. There were others, one of whom she suspected he was likely speaking with on the phone, hence the reason behind the deference in his voice.

"Yes, yes, you're definitely welcome," Bernie said. "For sure, of course. That won't be any problem. You still have the address? Good. I'll take care of the bill when you get here. You're more than welcome. Bye."

He ended the call and sipped his wine and turned away from the bay window. Darla went on watching what was on the TV as he returned to sit beside her.

"Who was that?" she said.

"You remember Ralph? That was him on the phone."

Darla looked at him, surprised. "You're talking about Ralph Felix?"

"Yes, him. He was calling from the airport. He and two of his friends were supposed to board a separate flight, but seems the quarantine has kiboshed that idea. He's stranded right now, so I told him to get a cab to bring him over."

"You said he's with two friends? Male friends?"

"That's what he said," Bernie drank more of his wine and smacked his lips. "I don't know how long he'd want to stay."

"The quarantine thing is all over the news. There's no saying how long it will last."

"The least we can do is offer them shelter." He looked at her. "You okay with that?"

"It's been a long time. You've kept in touch with him since?"

"Sort of," he said. "But I had no idea he'd be passing by. I guess this is a beautiful accident in our favor. Don't you think, Darla dearest?"

"Yeah, sure." She couldn't help blushing at the thought Ralph stopping by her home. It had more than a year since last time she frolicked with him. "I'd better go upstairs and see about getting the spare rooms ready." She finished her drink then got up. "I'll also need to get into something comfortable, too," she added before kissing her husband then left the room.

Bernie watched his wife pad out of the room with a beaming smile on his face. There was no denying the urgency in Darla's voice. He knew she had gotten wet from the mere mention of her former lover wanting to stop by. And the thought of having him around was enough to make her gush; the bonus part was that he wasn't coming alone. To sit here and picture Darla being ravished by Ralph once again along with two of his buddies was something he looked forward to watching anytime. A good thing there was now an emplaced quarantine. Hopefully this would keep Ralph here longer. After all, it had been months since last time he stopped over.

Darla didn't have any intention of inspecting any of the spare rooms upstairs, but instead made it into the main bedroom and shut the door behind her. She pressed her back against the door and felt her hand on her chest. She was gasping so hard it was like she was hyperventilating. Darla suddenly had the urge to pee. She stormed into the bathroom and went and sat on the toilet except nothing came out. What beckoned her instead was the desire to touch herself down there. Played with her pussy and was surprised when she then squirted into the toilet bowl. But still her breathing hadn't let up, nor the feeling of excitement mixed with anxiety that was upon her. Her hands were suddenly sweaty. She didn't know how long until Ralph arrived. What was obvious was she needed to prepare herself for him.

Darla finished cleaning herself then left the toilet and went into the bedroom to get ready.
