Mang Glan just followed the car where mom and dad were in. As it went inside a gate our car also went in. Mang Glan park the car. I guess we're here. I didn't wait for someone to open the car for me and I immediately went out of the car. The lot was not that big compared to ours, and the house is not really huge enough but wide.
As you enter the gate you will see a garden on the right side and a waterfall. My mom and dad already went out of the car and I saw a beautiful lady walking near them. I gestured to Sally to come and we walked towards them. It was aunt Minesa. She is wearing a simple pastel dress and she is stunning.
"Good morning auntie." I greeted and kissed on her cheeks. Sally just greeted aunt Minesa.
"I prepared foods already come,"
"Ahm, I think we cannot join you today. We still have a business meeting to attend. Thank you. We have to go. Minesa you took good care of my girl."
"Of course Queen."
For the last moment I hugged and kissed mom and dad. I could see tears that are about to fall on mom's eyes but she's holding it.
"It's not that I'll live here for lifetime mom. I will still visit you soon." Mom nodded and tapped my shoulder.
"Yeah of course. Be good. If something isn't good, tell us okay?" I gave them my reassuring smile. "Yes, I love you both."
"I love you too sweets,"
"I love you baby, before your mom cries we have to go." I just nodded and smiled at them.
We waved goodbye and their car already started driving until they got out the gate. I would really miss them. I turned my back and aunt Minesa held my shoulder.
"Let's get in, you'll see your rooms later."
The three of us went inside. The place is shining like no one ever lives here, I couldn't even see any dust on the floors or on the ceiling. The dining area is the one you would see once you enter the house and above is their little chandelier. The place is really elegant even if it's not that big enough like other mansions.
Aunt Minesa led us to the kitchen, there were two maids preparing the food. The aroma of the cooked rice and dishes makes my tummy drums. I only eat apples earlier and I haven't consumed any fats.
"Let's eat I am sure you are both hungry,"
"Are we on a feast madam?" Sally asked as she noticed there were a lot of foods that are prepared on the table.
Minesa chuckled at Sally's reaction. "I never knew what food you would like to eat so I prepared more than two dishes. So let's sit."
"I'm really hungry,"
We sitted and ate already. While on our meal aunt was asking us some questions to get to know each other. Aunt is a good talker; she knows how to win anyone's heart. And she talks like a teen on our age. If I am a man I would surely fall for her. We weren't able to finish the food on the table, it was a lot to eat and there's no other space on our stomach.
After we eat, aunt leads us to our room, it's upstairs. On the left side we saw a door and aunt Minesa opened it for us. A hello kitty room welcomes us, there are two beds separated. A cabinet and two study tables.
"This is beautiful,"
"This is supposed to be my baby's room, but I wasn't able to bear one." Sally and I looked at each other in awkwardness, we didn't know how to react. We could see the sadness in her eyes.
"And you have us Aunt. What are we going to do next?" I let myself sound jolly.
"You should rest and we'll go out later to buy you school supplies. I'll let you have a moment." Aunt Minesa left us both inside.
"This is pretty girly," we explored inside and took a look on every corner of the room.
"You hate hello kitty," Sally raises her two shoulders. "But if it's for madam, I will try to like it."
We just both laughed. We both jump on our fluffy soft bed. I could feel my eyes close and didn't notice myself falling asleep. It's already 1 pm in the afternoon. I looked for Sally and found her bed empty. I yawned and helped myself to get up. I saw Sally ascending upstairs and when she saw me she smiled.
"Are you ready to go shopping? We have to buy stuff and we'll be visiting our campus at last." I could see excitement in Sally's eyes which was the total opposite of what I was feeling. Nervous.
As what aunt Minesa promised, she will come with us to buy our stuff. Aunt is already inside her fortuner car and we hop in already. Sally is on the backseat and I chose to sit in the front seat.
"Are you excited?"
"No one's more excited than Sally," Aunt Minesa just chuckled and turned the engine on..
"You'll be receiving your schedules and uniforms. But before that we have to go shopping. Buy anything you want."
I could see the amazement on Sally's face. "Really? I wouldn't be humble madam."
"Oh sure Sally, you buy what you want I wont mind." Sally giggles in excitement, aunt and I just laughed.
The sun is still shining in the afternoon, gladly I have my bucket hat on me. Minesa parked her car as we reached the parking lot. We immediately went out of the car. We walked inside the mall and everyone was looking at us. Aunt Minesa is also known for being the sister-in-law of the Miss Universe 1988. But not everyone knew it but if you are fond of scrolling on social media and watching press conferences and news you will really know.
I started to feel uncomfortable. I should have distance myself from mom and dad if ever I am to meet them. I don't want anyone know about me. Everyone knew that the Miss Universe 1988 had a daughter not yet revealed. I don't want our name to be in the headline. Starting now people would immediately search for our names and spy on us. I just have to be careful not to ruin our family's name.
Sally and Minesa started to look for things to buy while I am just standing too conscious with the intense looks of the people. I bite my lip and breathe deeply. "You okay Adora?"
With worried eyes Minesa approached me. I give her a confident smile and nodded
"Yes tita, I am just a little tired."
"You can wait for us and I'll choose stuff for you." Minesa asked the saleslady to escort me on the couch.
I waited for them on my seat and looked down while wearing my bucket so people won't be able to see me. "Are you Minesa's nephew?" A curious sales lady asked me and I nodded.
It took them two and half an hour to buy stuff. I see them carrying a lot of paper bags on their both hands. I rushed and helped Minesa from carrying the bags. "This is too much, did you buy everything in here?"
I jokingly asked. "I think so," Sally chuckled and I just shook my head.
We already headed out of the mall. Minesa even waved a goodbye to the saleslady. We placed all the paper bags on the backseat. They both looked tired.
"How good it is to be rich, this is enough for me to enjoy my life." Sally said.
"Don't say that, at least which to build a business." Minesa added.
"Yeah right."
We headed to the campus directly. There were a lot of people on the campus. And some of them might be one of my classmates.
"You'll also be having a tour."
We headed inside and saw some of the people chatting with each other while looking at our direction. Minesa just gave them a smile. We followed Minesa and entered the dean's office.
"Minesa!" A guy with a white hair and wrinkles on his face approached us.
"It is good to see you here. Please sit down."
We sat on the couch of the office while the Dean sat on his chair.
"So," The Dean is looking for something on the table. There were bundles of papers that were piled and also uniforms with a name I think.
"There yah go, Sally Jerah and Adora Amirecan."
He took a small envelope and uniform placed inside a plastic. He gave it to us that we immediately accepted. "Thank you." Sally and I both said.
"These two ladies are beautiful. Too close to compare with their auntie here." Minesa chuckled and shook her head.
"You never changed Mr. Corpuz. Can we have a tour already?"
"Oh sure thing! I'll just call someone. Excuse me for awhile." He dialed a number on the telephone in his desk. After the call, minutes later a young tall lady with a long leg, straight black hair and a model figure body enters the room.
"Ms. Lar I would want you to tour his two young ladies around the campus while I'll be having a talk with their beautiful aunt."
He sounds so proud. I hate his aura and his smile. I secretly rolled my eyes and stood up.
"Sure Mr. Corpuz. Shall we?" she said leading us the way.
"Before that, I am Jessa Lar by the way the President of the student council." We also introduced ourselves to Jes. She seems so humble.
Many eyes were watching us as Jes led us on the hallway for a tour. San Creme University is huge, inside you can see a wide open basketball court. Their school has 6 stories and I could say that every inch of the school is really pleasant to my eye. We reached the 3rd storey without even noticing it since we're listening to Jes the whole day.
"I think we'll stop here, moving to the next floor would be really tiring. Shall I leave you here?" we both nodded at her and walked away.
We took a good look at the place. We could see here the basketball court's wide space. There were few students so the campus is really quiet. We decided to go down but as I stepped on the stairs I saw someone pass by at my back, I couldn't see his face since he was too fast to disappear. Sally noticed me looking for something.
"You okay? Did you see a ghost? This place is quite creepy, wonder how many ghosts are here." I just slap Sally's shoulder because of her nonsense imagination.
"You go first. I think I have to look for something."
"No, I'll go with you. Mom told me to stick with you." I rolled my eyes as she cross her arms
"Nah, nah. I'm big Sal! Please give me the freedom, c'mon!" She never takes off her stares on me; she's too hard to convince.
"If anything happens to you, everyone will take the blame on me." My two brows raised. As far as I could remember it was me who got blamed, not her. She's never been scolded by mom and dad nor I just a little nag.
"Really? I don't remember any situations before." I acted as if recalling those memories I've done before.
"Ok! But don't take that long. I don't want anything to happen to you. I hate to hear you cry everytime something happens. We'll wait for you down." I hugged Sal and turned my back.
I am just curious and want to wander around and feed my curiosity. My feet stop on the rooftop. I don't know who I am looking for, that back, I was just curious as hell to know who it was.
I inhaled and exhaled. My feet started to walk on the rooftop to look at the view of the place. It's still hot in the afternoon, the sun rays we're burning my skin but instead of covering myself I let it toast me.
I almost jumped to hell as I heard a loud sound from somewhere. My eyes were looking for it's source, on the boxes distance from me I noticed something strange. With curiosity I followed my mind and walked near it. It aint a ghost, there's no ghost roaming in the afternoon maybe? I was a little bit nervous and as I reached there I jumped in shock when a black cat jumped on me.
"Holy sh*t!" I swear in nervousness.
"What did you even look at, Adora? Damn!"
I didn't stay there for long and walked away. I will really toast that f*cking cat. I am walking haggardly with my face frowning. That just ruins my mood. Ow, to tell you I hate cats!
"Adora,"
A baritone voice stops me from walking in front of me is a clean looking man. He is way taller than me so I have to look up to see his face, his nose is perfectly fine pointed, his lips are attractive like you just wanted to grab and kiss it, and his brows and lashes are way thicker than mom, this man is gorgeous. Add up his sexy looking brown color eyes. He is not like those serious faced men but he actually smiled even way back at the party.
"Adora right?"
Little did I know that my mouth was opening the whole time. I immediately looked in the other direction and nodded.
"Yes, and you are Tyler? The house owner?" He chuckles on what I said. It was just a simple effortless smile but damn he is so sexy.
He has the body and all. He has a good standing aura and the way he poses is like those models of Calvin klein.
"Are you okay? You seem to be thinking of outer space." I went on my senses as he interrupted me. Can he stop smiling? Does he really smile all day?
"Just a little tired. So you study here also?" he nodded with a smile.
"Yes. 3rd year college this year. You are?"
"1st year. So you are older than me." he chuckled while holding his neck as he was shy.
"Yeah right. Maybe we'll be meeting often here. I would love to see you."
Is it a yes already? I never asked a question yet but is he offering me something special? Did he mean it? Was he like that with his friends? Maybe. He's just like that.
"Me too," I smiled awkwardly and didn't know how to say goodbye.
"You're heading down right?" I nodded in response.
"Let me come with you," he said without hesitation and walked.
My mind was smiling the whole day. I followed her down and we talked about some stuff and funny things. He even shared about his experience here and also the personality of the students and professors here. They are not really scary but a little serious. Gladly he told me about it and I'll be aware.
"By the way, you are beautiful today." he said and winked a goodbye on me as we reached the first floor.
My heart was bombing inside and hell I couldn't stop the beating of my heart. And my face was a little hot. "Did he mean it?"
Or am I dreaming awake? Wake me up now! No, no, not yet. I want to cherish this dream. These memories should be kept. I smiled crazily as if my face would rip anytime. It was my first time being complimented by someone in this kind of situation. Just the two of us. Oh God. Am I in love? No way.
