Third P.O.V
Alessandro walked out of the room with Lucien in his arms leaving everyone dumbfounded and in shock. He couldn't care less as he had his love in his arms. He looked so beautiful from the 'him' Alessandro met in his previous lifetime. He looked down to see him blushing and trying to make himself smaller so as to ensure that people would not stare. It was very endearing and Alessandro couldn't help but smile fondly. He hugged him tighter. They reached to the big boors at the end of the hallway, pushed it open and walked in. It was a guest lounge where people could sit and relax. Alessandro walked over to the couch and put Lucien down gently. He walked over to the mini freezer where there were ice cubes. he took out one and wrapped it in a handkerchief and turned to walk back when he saw a beautiful sight.
Lucien had shifted positions unconsciously hitching his dress up which revealed his long legs. His hair cascaded over creating the illusion of a moonlight shower and his eyes shone brightly reminiscent of purple fire. Alessandro stopped breathing and felt his body burn. He is so beautiful. He couldn't believe that he fell in love that bastard. He began to recall the moment he heard Lucien was dead. His world had permanently crashed just like Gabriele's and Salvatore's. They lost the men who held their hearts. He stills remembered being in denial about the entire thing until he saw Lucien's coffin being buried next to Elijah's grave. That day will forever mark the day they stopped living and sought revenge.
"ALESSANDRO !!!" a shout jerked him out of his memory lane. He looked up to see Lucien looking at him with concern. He shook his head and made his way to the couch. He sat and gently cupped Lucien's cheek and put the ice pack on his red cheek. Alessandro felt the rage simmering rising at Kain Hasapi for slapping the man he is in love with. He let his eyes roam over Lucien. He truly looked stunning with his beautiful long silver hair. It definitely suited him than that ill looking bob he was forced to wear. Lucien was blushing under Alessandro's stare who couldn't help but find it cute. "Does it feel better ?" he asked. Lucien nodded and looked at him. "Why did you slap Kain ? I am curious as to what he did to you." he asked quizzically. Alessandro knew that he would ask such a question. He noticed that Lucien started acting strange a few days ago. Very different to what he remembered but he will let it go for now. "That's easy. He is annoying. Plus, he tried to take advantage of you. I hate those kind of people." Alessandro responded.
Lucien looked deep in thought at the answer and nodded understandingly. "Then, can I ask another question ?" he asked, a little hesitant. Alessandro had an inkling as to what he wanted to ask. He nodded and Lucien took a deep breath and spoke. "Is Gabriele interested in dating both Elijah and Clive ? If he is, I am more than willing to let him but what about your family ? Can they accept the fact that your brother is in a polyamorous relationship with two men, one of whom is a suppressed son and a divorcee with a son ?" he asked with power and determination in his voice. Alessandro could tell that Lucien loved his brother contrary to the rumours and they both proved the rumours wrong. He smiled and put the ice pack down.
Lucien looked confused and nervous. Alessandro just smiled and pulled him into his arms. Lucien was surprised but Alessandro did not let it deter him. He sat Lucien on his lap and hugged him. He stiffened and then relaxed. He wrapped his arms around Alessandro's neck and lightly traced the edge of his mask. Alessandro smiled at the tender action and spoke. "Our parents have been aware of our sexuality and preferences for a long time now. In fact, they support us when we decide on the one we love and wish to court. Gabriele is definitely interested in dating both Elijah and Clive. My parents are aware and definitely support him. We don't care about status and other aspects. My mother and father truly care that they love each other with what they see in each other." He recalled the day when the three of us came out to our parents and the reactions. Their parents were supportive of their love and showed that they were willing to help them achieve it. They in fact told them to be careful. Alessandro looked at Lucien to see a few emotions in his eyes that puzzled him. Longing, envy, joy and.....love. He knew that there was more to the story about his recent changes.
Alessandro gently lifted his hand and stroked Lucien's cheek in comfort. Lucien looked startled but relaxed and nuzzled into Alessandro's hand accepting the warmth and comfort. They sat like that for a few minutes and just looked at each other in content silence.
Ring...Ring....Ring.....
The sound suddenly jolted them out from the comfortable silence they were shrouded in. Alessandro suddenly realised that it was his phone ringing. He took it out of his pocket and read the message that had just come. It was from Salvatore. He informed that everyone was back at the ball and were looking for him and Lucien. Alessandro sighed in disappointment. He was not ready to go back. He wanted to stay with Lucien and find out more about his feisty kitten who seemed to change overnight. "Let's go. Your brother is looking for you." Alessandro said as he took a strand of Lucien's hair, kissing it. Lucien blushed, nodded and scrambled to the door in his black heels quickly making Alessandro chuckle at how embarrassed Lucien must be feeling. He got and followed Lucien to the door. They walked down the hallway to the grand doors that led to the ballroom. Before the doors opened, Lucien suddenly turned around and kissed Alessandro on the cheek. "Thank you for standing up for me. I will never forget this favour. If you ever need anything from me, please let me know. Good bye." Blushing, Lucien ran away quickly to Elijah.
Alessandro was surprised. He couldn't believe that Lucien could do such a courageous thing. He smiled a smile that echoed a promise that he was going to fulfil. Salvatore appeared in front of him. "What's got you smiling, big bro ?" he asked. Alessandro smiled. "Just the fact that your brother-in-law made his first romantic move." he replied. Salvatore grinned. "Good. You and Gabriele finally allowed yourselves to get close to your beloveds. I miss mine." he whined and pouted. Alessandro felt bad for him and hugged him. "You will find your beloved. I know that he is out their somewhere." he comforted Salvatore. The man nodded and then turned serious. "They found something." he said. Alessandro nodded. "Alright, let's go take a look." Alessandro looked around to see his manager hand over a business card to Lucien. He grinned.
Looks like he will be seeing his love sooner than he thought. With that he left the room, making plans to woo Lucien thoroughly and make him his forever.
