"He hates giving me expensive things," Renji said. Silently leaving him a kiss on the tip of the nose. "I've also bought him stuff to get back to drawing comics. Or music. And he likes all of them. Now I'm really running out of ideas."
"Useless," said Kim Daniel with a harsh snort.
"I'll hang up if you don't have anything important anymore—"
"Hey, wait," Kim Daniel interrupted immediately. "I know. I have an idea for a gift for him tomorrow."
"What."
"How about giving him a card? He'd be happy if he could go out and buy his own—"
"I've already made an offer," interjected Renji. His gaze softened at the man in front of him. "You think I never thought that?"
"Oh..." Kim Daniel sighed softly. "I really don't understand."
"Neither am I at all."
"How can someone like him exist?" on the other side, Kim Daniel scratched his head in confusion. "Wasn't he born poor and in an orphanage?"
"Hmm."
