Chapter 5: Let's Fight Kid
Feng has fond memories of the school hallway. Feng decided what to do as he walked down the hallway, looking out the window at the large open field outside. He was soon in front of the teacher lounge.
Ms. Zhen was sitting at her table, staring at the door to the teacher lounge, when Feng appeared. Nodding her head in approval, Feng entered the room and approached her.
"I had heard the commotion outside the classroom earlier. Could you please explain what's going on?" Ms. Zhen asked as she sat in the chair, hands crossed under her breast to support it as she lay back.
"Nothing special. Just a bunch of kids making a big deal out of nothing, "Feng replied with a chuckle, looking Ms. Zhen in the eyes.
Lin Feng's words caused Zhen Xin Ru's eyes to widen. How can a student be so composed in front of a teacher? Furthermore, she is a pretty confident about her looks and figure.
Most male students would be able to do nothing but fidget or look embarrassed in front of her. Even though he was a thin kid with almost no presence, he managed to talk to her like an adult.
"Anyway, Ms. Zhen, I'd like to stop going to school; if possible, I'd like to leave school right away," Feng continued.
"Wait, what!?" Lin Feng's words startled Zhen Xin Ru.
"I really meant what I said. I want to stop going to school immediately." Feng turned around after saying what he needed to say, leaving the shell-shocked Teacher alone. He took a step forward and remembered something. In his previous life, Ms. Zhen had abruptly resigned in the middle of the school year.
Turning to face the still-shocked teacher. "I know it's not my place to ask, Ms. Zhen, but do you have any problems right now?"
'Who in the world is this kid?' That was the only thing on Zhen Xin Ru's mind at the time.
"Nothing... At the moment, there are none." Zhen Xin Ru's response was limited.
Feng turned around and walked away, nodding.
Feng walked calmly back to his table in the classroom after leaving the teacher's lounge.
His action of packing his bag drew the attention of the class.
Looking at Fatty in front of him, he smiled and exited the classroom without saying anything. Students such as Gao Xiong, Ling PeiPei, and Fatty Zai were taken aback by his actions.
"Could he have fled in fear of Gao Xiong?" murmurs went around the class after he left.
-----------------------
Feng, who was about to walk out of the school gate, turned around for a moment and looked back. He took a deep breath and prepared to leave when his phone rang. Feng chuckled as he looked at the name on the caller ID.
"Hello, Mr. Fat?~" Feng answered the phone in a lighthearted tone.
"What's going on, brother? Where are you? The school isn't over yet!" On the other end of the line, Fatty inquired anxiously. He was worried about his friend and had called him despite the teacher's stare.
"For me, the school has come to an end today. I will keep in touch with you. There is too much for me to do in this one year, and I don't have time to waste in school." Feng replied matter-of-factly.
Feng replied matter-of-factly. I may be bad at fighting, but I can crush them to death with my size! "Fat responded.
As he heard Fatty's response, Feng chuckled on the phone. "There's no need, bro. Gao Xiong would undoubtedly seek you out after this. Just do me a favor and tell him that if he wants, we can have an official match at the school gym during the summer vacation in 6 months if he wants. I'll meet him there any day he wants to have it. That's all. The phone bill is exorbitant. If you are available, please join me for training at Black Eagle Fitness Centre."
Official sparring is sparring that has been sanctioned by the authorities. Sparring is encouraged because martial arts play an essential role in society and allow students to learn and train their bodies.
All that was required was a phone call to the school administration department to set up a time. The school would then arrange for a gym for the spar and a referee to prevent major injuries, as minor injuries can be easily treated with current technology.
*Duuuuuu~*
Gao Xiong, who had overheard the conversation, approached Fatty and lowered his massive body to the table, growling, "Fight with me? Who!?"
"Haha, So it's big brother Gao! It was just a joke, just a joke..." Fatty nervously replied.
"So, where is your best friend Lin Feng at the moment?" Gao Xiong continued, his brow furrowed.
"Ah? Ahhh! He just left school..." Fatty replied while scratching his big belly.
"And?" Gao Xiong glared at Fatty.
"And? And what?" Fatty replied 'innocently.'
The entire class was intrigued by what was going on and gathered around them.
Fatty continued before Gao Xiong erupted, "But he did ask me to tell you that if you want, you can arrange an official match with him scheduled in 6 months during the summer holiday at the school gym."
Gao Xiong raised an eyebrow, unsure what to say. ' Is a match you're looking for, little imp?' Technically, he couldn't kill him, but in this case, injuring him would be legal. Generally, a hospital stay following a match is considered normal. In this case, isn't Lin Feng asking for a beating?
While on the other hand, Instead of going home, Feng went straight to the fitness center after school. His primary concern, aside from earning money, is to bulk up his body.
Using the pool to increase his stamina and the machine to increase his muscle mass is the best he can do right now. After that, he'd go up to the public dojo and swing a wooden sword to keep his swordsmanship sharp.
Despite his limited credit, Feng has decided to purchase an E-rank fluid to drink for 100 credits every day to ensure his body receives the proper nutrition it requires. After all, training without adequate nutrition is a waste of time.
This was all he could afford with his limited credit of 9000. The D-rank fluid he drank yesterday cost 1,000 credit, and he could only afford it once to get a good head start.
His budget does not allow for the purchase of C rank fluid, which costs 10,000 credits. A B rank costs 100,000 credits, while an A rank costs 500,000 credits. At 1,000,000 credit, S rank fluid is nearly impossible for him.
Even in his previous life, the number of S rank he drank could be counted on his fingers. This was not due to a lack of credit but because S rank nutrient fluid could only be purchased if one had the necessary connections.
Having drank a D rank and now an E rank, he has given himself a better start than before. In his previous life, he had only begun purchasing nutrient fluid when he was in his mid-20s when he realized how important a strong body and active mind are in God's Art.
Feng had only drunk the F rank fluid distributed by the government once a week before his mid-20s. That is barely enough for the average person to maintain their bodies. With this early advantage, Feng is confident that his body will perform better in the game once it is released.
As he worked out, he gritted his teeth. Feng pushed himself to his breaking point.
