So things turned for the worst. No matter how much I broke those undead, they just pieced themselves back together.

Once again, I practically ripped one skeleton apart. At this point all of their armor was gone. It was just a pure skeleton I was fighting.
("This is so annoying! There's gotta be a way to get to the necromancer!") [Solace]
I would just bum-rush the necromancer, but the skeletons would dogpile on me every time I tried. They would gnaw at my skin and try to tear me apart. Too bad my body was too tough for them to chew.
"Doppel, can you restrain them!" [Solace]
Though my copy attempted to tackle the skeletons and pull them away from me, they would detach the specific bone that was captured and continue attacking me.
("Man, screw it!") [Solace]
If it was going to be this way, I'll change strats. I'm going to be the distraction.
"Doppel! Attack the necromancer!" [Solace]
Heeding my orders, Doppel made a beeline towards the Necromancer.
"|Bone lock|!" [Masked Demon]
Among the four skeletons, one of them collapsed like a bunch of leygos and flung their pieces at Doppel. They formed shackles or some kind of restraints to keep him from moving, causing him to fall over.
("Seriously?!") [Solace]
That was NOT how necromancy worked. From my experience that is.
"Your tenacity is very impressive. I can see why you dared to covet the relic." [Masked Demon]
He approached Doppel and placed a hand on his forehead.
"|Living Undeath|." [Masked Demon]
Doppel trembled as his flesh was torn off. It was the same thing that happened to the knights. However, Doppel simply vanished instead of turning into another skeleton.
"Hm. I thought I would get some good material." [Masked Demon]
Then he turned his attention to me.
"No matter. You will suffice." [Masked Demon]
He casted |Bone Lock| again, this time using all skeletons.
"Ngh!" [Solace]
All my movements were sealed. Bones interlocked themselves in a way that everything other than my head was covered.
("I can't break free?!") [Solace]
Unlike when I was getting dogpiled, it was incredibly difficult to even wiggle my fingers. I tried using sheer force to break it, but it would only fracture a few bones before it regenerated. In the end, I was helpless as the Masked Demon approached me.
"Do you have any last words?" [Masked Demon]
Hearing that, I held back the urge to grin.
"Have you ever heard of Sugon?" [Solace]
The Masked Demon seemed confused. So much so that he even glanced at the helmless knight to see if he knew. Of course, neither of them did.
"Pray tell. What is Sugon?" [Masked Demon]
The urge to smile grew stronger.
"Do you really want to know?" [Solace]
I could feel the corners of my mouth tense as they tried to go upwards. I started to take deep breaths to hold myself back.
"Yes, I do. Though, not enough to spare your life you wish to trade." [Masked Demon]
"Nah. I just want to pass on some words of wisdom before passing." [Solace]
The Masked Demon scratched his chin.
"That is certainly an understandable reason. I too would not like for my necromancy to be lost to the ages." [Masked Demon]
"Yeah, you get it." [Solace]
"Well? What exactly IS Sugon?" [Masked Demon]
This was it. With a deep breath, I unleashed the magic words.
"SUGON DEEZ NUTS!!!" [Solace]
I casted |Explosion arts| to free my hands and repeated the action all over my body to rid myself of the bones. I knew it wouldn't take long to recover, so I had to act fast. Luckily, the Masked Demon was within reach.
"|Burning Fist|!" [Solace]
I hit him with a haymaker to the face, causing the mask to break and the flames to singe his skin.
"Argh!" [Masked Demon]
Metal fragments hit the floor as the demon clutched his face. I could hear his flesh sizzle as he cried out in pain.
"You! disgusting! mongrel…!" [Unmasked Demon]
I could see the hate in his eyes as he realized that I tricked him. The flames still lingered, making half of his face charred black.
"Hey, you kinda look like two-face." [Solace]
I don't think he liked that joke.
"|Primal Execution|!" [Unmasked Demon]
Closing his hands together, he shattered all the bones nearby and launched the pointed ends at me.
"|Enchant Flame|." [Solace]
I set my entire body ablaze, turning all the bones to ash. Originally, such a thing wouldn't have been possible. That is, until he made the bones small enough for me to be able to cook them.
"Wha-?!" [Unmasked Demon]
"Yeah, you're screwed." [Solace]
I used |Vortex Arts| thinking that I'd rip him apart, but he turned to a dark mist and retreated.
"Bruh." [Solace]
I just wasted a crappy one-liner.
"My lord, you didn't have to save me." [Unmasked Demon]
"I can't let such a loyal subject die so easily." [Helmless Knight]
Is he forgetting his other subordinates?
"This is not a fight you can win. For now, let us leave." [Helmless Knight]
"Really? I thought you were going to fight." [Solace]
"We will. Soon." [Helmless Knight]
"Uh-huh." [Solace]
Without a warning, I fired a |Liquid Bullet|. Well, as expected it did nothing since they turned to dark mist and vanished.
"...Neat trick." [Solace]
