I spent some time with Raon getting healed. Potions wouldn't work on some of the wounds inflicted on each other. For example, the burns on my arms or the external damage I did to him with |Vortex Arts|.
("I only meant to break his gauntlets with that though.") [Solace]
His skin was torn on his arms, like a chainsaw just decided to plow through. Well, we were still getting healed by specialists though.
"Please try raising your arm." [Healer]
A man in a white and gold robe was the one attending to me. He would cast |Small Cure| in certain locations to slowly put me back together.
"Your magic is making me feel a bit itchy." [Solace]
"That's normal. The regeneration makes your body lose the damaged parts of your skin. You can call it dead skin." [Healer]
"Huh. That's cool." [Solace]
Never thought they would be able to see this from a scientific standpoint.
"Be sure not to scratch until I fully heal you. It may interfere with the healing process." [Healer]
"Kay." [Solace]
The healer gave me a strange look at my reply, but decided not to say anything. Instead, he just raised his hand and used his skills.
"Alert: You have acquired |Small Cure|." [Spirit Guide]
("Oh? Finally, a healing skill.") [Solace]
As I waited patiently, Raon's eyes met mine. We sat across from each other while he was waited upon by a pretty female healer. …Not that I was jealous or anything.
"...What're you looking at?" [Raon]
"You." [Solace]
Raon seemed surprised by my reply.
"Are you picking a fight?" [Raon]
"We already fought. Also, I won." [Solace]
The two healers glanced at each other nervously.
"Purely luck." [Raon]
"They say luck is a skill." [Solace]
"...No one says that." [Raon]
Even now I forget that I live in another world. Some sayings just don't transfer over.
"How's your arm?" [Raon]
"Better than yours." [Solace]
"Oh yeah?" [Raon]
His eyes passed over my burnt arm. Not gonna lie, it wasn't very pretty.
"Hey, at least I have one arm left. How about yours?" [Solace]
Both of his arms were shredded, a result from |Vortex Arts|.
"I can still move them. Can you still move yours?" [Raon]
"One arm is more than enough to deal with you." [Solace]
We both sat up straight, causing our respective healers to start panicking.
"..." [Solace] [Raon]
As we stared at each, we burst out laughing.
"You're funny." [Solace]
"You're not too bad yourself." [Raon]
The healers looked confused. Well, it must be kind of weird for others to see us getting along after arguing.
"What's your full name?" [Raon]
"Alt. Alt Account. Yours?" [Solace]
I knew his full name. I just asked out of courtesy.
"Raon Parthenos. I've never heard of the house "Account". What nobility rank do you have?" [Raon]
"I'm a commoner." [Solace]
Raon raised a brow.
"Impossible. Only nobles have last names. If you do not wish to divulge your rank, then so be it." [Raon]
That was an interesting fact I just learned. Since Master asked me to come up with a last name, I assumed everyone had one.
"In any case, you are a formidable warrior." [Raon]
"Thanks. You too." [Solace]
Raon smiled.
"Yes. Formidable enough to become my rival." [Raon]
"...Your rival." [Solace]
That was weird. I literally just met the guy and now I'm his rival.
"I have never met anyone around my age capable of besting me. You are worthy." [Raon]
"Oh. Thanks, I guess." [Solace]
I should introduce him to Leyhna or Leon. He'll probably get whooped.

We chatted for a while until our wounds fully healed. Raon handed me a pendant and told me that it'll allow me to visit his abode without being attacked. …Whatever that means. Anyways, I was called up for the last match.
"Alt Account, Leon Soh. Please come forward." [Uniformed Man]
("Leon Soh?") [Solace]
As I stood up, I saw Leon appear from thin air.
"Leon?!" [Solace]
She looked at me with that indifferent look as usual.
"Yes?" [Leon]
"Wh… Why are you here?" [Solace]
She opened her mouth to answer, but the uniformed man pressed us to follow him. Moments later, I found myself in the arena facing Leon.
"You may begin." [Wilharrow]
