Upon reaching the entrance of the driver's hometown, the driver pointed to a local church and said:
—See, the Local Pastor, is also arriving today is Friday, from here he stays until Sunday and then travels to his place of origin a town above Canchaque.
"I'll leave it here, go talk to him." Or you prefer to go to the square and wait for another transport to take you to the next town and then to the one you are going to go, for which there are two more hours of mobility. Trucks usually pass by carrying reinforcement materials from the riverbanks, because summer is coming and with summer the rains that flood everything.
"If you stay to speak with the pastor and he invites you to the preaching service, you can go to my house up on the hill." My name is Luis, my parents like to host preachers. Welcome home!
"And do I owe you something from the trip you have allowed to take?"
-Do not. I am also a believer. Go where indicated. God bless you. See you later.
That night the preaching was through the homes, and I ended up staying where I was indicated with dinner included.
—The next day, I was told to go to the plaza and wait for a truck of materials and request to continue the trip. It is the local custom to travel like this.
"My father and I," said Luis, at dinner the night before, "we went out in the early morning up to the villages along the bank of the river, to set traps for parrots and parakeets and other birds." Then we hunt them without hurting them and offer them for sale in pairs. It is our job for many years, in this pre-summer season. —Indicating, Luis:
"Go on, around 10 am." In the square, you will find a person who is in charge of cleaning the park. Her name is Maria. She is the wife of the former pastor of the local church. The Pastor died bewitched. But it is another story. Sister Maria will tell you: how to take the next transportation.
-Thanks!
"What a blessing brother!"
—If you wait here and I have already indicated, which truck to request to take you to.
—My husband was the Local Pastor before, his last name was Carrasco.
—Va Bierny said: My last name is also Carrasco. And I come from the town of Buenos Aires. I have family there, and I come on a missionary trip to the mountains.
—What a coincidence of fate, my husband's brother named Dionicio lives in that town of Buenos Aires, and being a bricklayer, he came to make the floor of our house. So: We are family!
"Right there comes my son, your cousin, they are three brothers and a woman, who is already studying on the coast, in Piura." Greet each other.
—The truck has arrived, first you will have breakfast at the pension, be careful, when you leave and approach and ask it to take you two towns up towards the mountains. He will not refuse. They like the company, for the journey that is very desolate and slow and for two hours.
After a while the trip was underway and the dialogue was extensive. At last it was over.
Several days have passed at the premises of the LADP-Tumbes mission.
- Pastor friends remember that three years ago I promised to visit them to help them in their mission. Quick Step. I hope to be useful, according to the designs of the Father of all lights and because of your faith.
In order for you to work with a mission, first work with the missionaries or pastors in charge. Bierny kept track of his work for the past three years.
La Pastora's husband (it sounds weird, but it was like that)
I met the pastor when he was secretary of the study of her husband, a deceased former journalist from the town of Tumbes.
Then she began to believe and doing evangelistic work, she preached to a drug addict that she used to live picking up trash among the garbage thrown from the food outlets.
That guy believed in her message and began to compare her and conquered her, she had developed gifts of faith.
As a result, she became recognized for her work, to the point of leading an outpost. And she was already in charge of a missionary work, of course in another cultural context, since developing in the city is not the same as growing up in the countryside and making people who believe achieve the same purpose. Not with a husband used to being dependent on social services.
The first result of this union was a son who when he took a shower, would sing and despite being a small child, he showed an aggressive character with his fellow men and more than once he was jealous of his local friends and they fought with them. When he sang under the cool of the water, his spirit relaxed, and he began to sing ecclesial songs, then he changed the tone of his voice, and repeated the songs that his father liked to hear, as his short ten years, he dealt with being interior, since apparently there were two slopes that fell daily on it.
That of an anointed mother, whose social touch allowed her to become a pastor, and her peaceful character allowed her to conquer 'demonized' for the work. That defined Bierny. Noticing certain differences between the wife or pastor and the husband and male child of both.
After a month of inquiries, from perceiving evil and goodness in their lives, he came to discern the spirit that dominated that family.
If it is possible to win in the pastoral family environment, the church could win in the community environment.
This because the work already showed symptoms of stagnation.
They fought with the people who donated the land and that meant a setback.
As an elderly man, he only dedicated himself to bringing firewood from the field and being the man of the parsonage, but not leading in missionary work. One day:
The father was summoned to the local school for an error that the son produced, for claiming to have something "among his schoolmates" that belonged to his father and that it was forbidden to carry.
Bierny was present and moderated the matter, which did not get to much.
Let's see: Bondage Habits for Error!
