Ray transforms into his black bear form and charges at the kobold. He swipes his claw down onto the kobold back. Crack!! The kobold is smashed into the ground. Instant death. Ray moves to the opposite side and yanks the dead kobold out of the gap.
The second kobold turns around and returns through the gap. As soon as he steps through Ray strikes the kobold on his head nearly decapitating the kobold. Ray yanks it out of the gap. Ray backs up and waits for the third kobold.
As seconds pass by Ray decides to go after the 1st kobold. Ray transforms into the purple poison Lizard and rushes through the gap. The kobold is standing in front of the gap in shock. Ray smashes into the kobold nocking it down onto its back.
Before the kobold can do anything Ray transforms into his black bear form. The weight of his bear form pins the kobold. The kobold try's to squirm out from underneath Ray but is unable to. Ray places his left front paw on the kobold head and crushes it. Dead in an instant.

Ray assimilates the dead kobold and its weapons a dagger and a sling. Ray transforms into his purple poison Lizard form and heads back through the gap. He heads over to the two dead kobolds and assimilates them and their weapons.
Ray transforms into a kobold and heads towards the direction that they came from. After following the path for a few minutes Ray could hear chattering.
This time Ray could understand what they are saying.
" Damn Troglodytes they keep raiding us we must do something to stop them." Said a kobold. As the kobold finished speaking. The crowd of kobolds started shouting "kill troglodytes!" "Kill troglodytes!"
"No, we must send scouts." Said a kobold. "Yes! yes!" the group of kobolds shouted.
Ray slips into the group and listens. As they are chattering Ray observes the group. There are at least 30 kobolds. The kobold that speaks the most seems to be the chief.
Ray flicks his right-hand use to analyze the chief.

Ray looks at the chiefs' stats.
"He's not very strong. I could kill him easily." Though Ray.
As Ray was contemplating on killing the chief or not the chief spoke up. "We must send a scouting party. Do any of you want to go speak up? Said the kobold Chief.

"Dang not bad I'll take this quest." Thought Ray.
Four kobolds volunteered.
Ray speaks up " I'll go."
"Good that's five kobolds! Get some food and drink. You five will leave after that." Said the kobold chief l.
Ray follows the other four. As they pass a shabby hut Ray could hear grunting coming from inside. Ray takes a peek inside and sees an orc chained to a post. The orc looks as if it was beaten up.
"I need to kill that orc and assimilate it." Thought Ray.
Before Ray could do anything a kobold yelled "hurry up we need to leave soon."
"I'll kill it when I get back." Thought Ray. Ray rushes over to catch up with the others.
They enter a long hut. Inside are some primitive stools for sitting. Ray sits down along with the other kobolds and shortly after food and drinks were brought to them. The food consisted of meat and dirty water. Nonetheless, Ray ate the meat drank the water. As he finished eating Ray used his assimilation skill on the food and water. Assimilation of orc 1% completed. Assimilation of water completed.
"No wonder that meat tastes horrible. I didn't realize I could assimilate water as well. I wonder if I can assimilate fire as well. I'll find out later. Thought Ray.
"All right it's time. I'm Zog I'll be leading this scouting party. Said The kobold Zog. Zog is a whopping three feet tall with red dark scales and a white underbelly. He has a bulky body build for his race.
"Now we leave." Said Zog.
The group of five heads towards the north of the cavern. As they walk Ray sees huge stalactites and stalagmites covering the cavern. Ray notices huge boulders covered in a blue moss that gives off a faint light. Surrounding the boulders are some huge fungus plants that seem to be watching them as they pass.
As Ray passes by one of the fungi he quickly casts analysis.

"Wow, I'm gonna have to assimilate this fungus." Ray thinks to himself.
Zog motions everyone to stop. Zog whispers, "through this tunnel is troglodytes home. We will sneak through the tunnel and spy on the troglodytes."
Zog waives for everyone to move forward. They crouch down on all fours and crawl through the tunnel. As they get closer to the end of the tunnel they hear scuffles from two troglodytes fighting over a long sword.
Zog points at Ray then points at the troglodyte on the right. Ray nods his head. Ray and Zog sneak up behind each of their targets. Ray and Zog unsheathed their daggers and in a synchronized motion they both stab their targets through the back of their necks. Ray pulls the dagger sideways and cuts through the troglodyte's neck killing it instantly. Zog is unable to finish off his troglodyte. The troglodyte struggles to break free but before it could escape, Ray takes his dagger and stabs it straight in the head killing it instantly.

Zog motions everyone to get down. As they get down the kobolds stare into the troglodytes base. While the other four kobolds are surveying the base Ray grabs the long sword and assimilates it making sure the others don't see what he is doing.
After assimilation of the long sword, Ray and the other kobolds sneak into the troglodytes base. They gather the information they need. Thirty-three troglodytes were armed with various weapons and armor.
They head back to the tunnel.

They return to the two troglodyte bodies and hides them the best they can.
