His memory was blurry, he didn't remember much about what he saw in his dream, but he know. Something have changed in the very core of his body, something was now hiding.
-Supreme...
A whisper escaped from his cold red lips. His long white hair were fluttering from the wind coming from a window. His red eyes, were twitching as something was trying to wake up from the depth of his soul, in vain.
Lucas got up from his bed slowly and gently and began to observe his surrounding with an indifferent expression as if he had already seen hell and heaven and that the mortal world no longer interest him. The walls were painted with a beautiful white that ease the mind, there were bed with people on it. Some with grave condition, other with seemingly light injury but sleeping very deeply, no it wasn't sleep, it was death.
There were also nurse running around looking stressed, doctors full of blood on their coat who seem to have finished one of their operation, but looking at the room of bed while red blood stain the floor, their joy was cut short, as they began to move onto the next patient.
People were dying second by second, it seemed like an apocalypse has occurred, well not far from the looks of it. His head hurt, his brain was surcharged with memory of an accident, his heart was beating very fast, his finger hurt...?...!?
-Ring...
Instinctively he looked at this right index was surprised to see a ring with elfin, draconic, demonic and even celestial inscriptions. These inscriptions shined for a few second before stopping, and miraculously his headaches, blazing heart all stopped and were engulfed in a weak light, he sensed his sense getting better while he began to see white path floating in the hair. Lucas was in awe.
-You...Shouldn't...Be...Awe....Other...Should...Be...In...Awe...!
An ethereal voice resonated in his head. Almost knocking him out.
-B-Brother, you are here !
A girly voice entered his ears the same moment he stepped out from his immersive thinking, when he lift his head he saw a beautiful young girl, maybe 16, running toward him at full speed. For Lucas, whose sense of time was now even longer because his brain treat information even faster than before, everything seem slow, for some reason, he also feel like he can even control at which speed his brain treat information, he don't need to see everything so slow.
Seconds later, the young girl jump at Lucas, who almost out of instinct smashed her head against the floor with his feet but he refrained from doing so. He didn't remember a lot of things, but he sure remember his light-headed sister.
His sister was beautiful but so much different from him.
He was cold and indifferent to everything. She was full of joy and curiosity toward everything.
He was serious in his study. She was 'busy' playing games all day.
He always have dark though. She was always full of hope.
However that didn't mean he didn't love her, not all. She was his world. After the death of his parents who died from something he couldn't remember, there were only the 2 of them. So they had to live together and rely on each other warmth.
She was crying while hugging him as she was afraid he was going to disappear. Lucas began to feel different emotions swelling in his heart. He reciprocated the hug with a slight smile on his usually cold face.
-I'm okay.
-Are you sure ?!
-I am.
*sigh*
-Now tell me what happened, why am i here ?
-That...We were eating on a bench, when a meteorite was sighted, we had no time to react and it seemed to have fell in the Atlantic ocean, however it wasn't the only one. From what I know, another one seemed to have fell in the Mediterranean Sea. After they have also been earthquake all over the world
(Meteorites...Sea...Ocean...Earthquake...?!!WAVE!!?)
-We need to go now ! Or else we die !
Lucas wanted to get up, but unfortunately, although the light seemed to have healed some part of his body, the vital parts, the other were still as badly damaged as they were before.
However, he gritted his teeth, and got up, under his sister curious gaze, he took her hand and began to 'run' toward the exit. No one seemed to care. They were poor, so it was already a blessing he got a bed with all type of rich people waiting.
(Paris is far from coast, if we get up on the roof of some high building we might survive, the wave won't be as powerful.)
It was gamble he was willing to take, with his condition, it was impossible to run far, and all the road must have been blocked off by circulation. He approached a random building, he was lucky, it seemed like everyone has run off the building in fear it crumbled after the earthquake. However he didn't care, it was either that or the gigantic wave approaching rapidly that will kill, choice was obvious.
His sister began to worry about his condition, he was bleeding from his legs, arms and eyes. However he continue on the road he choose.
When they finally got on the roof it was just in time of an apocalypse. As his sister was supporting him, Lucas could stand and admire the 35 meters high wave. crashing against smaller building and killing thousands of people by impact.
The building Lucas choose was at least 40 meters high, it was not that high but enough to survive. Or so he though, until he saw a 200 meters high wave coming from him behind the 35 meters high wave. Just when he began to lose hope.
An ethereal voice began to resound around the world. The fire stopped, the sickness stopped, the waves stopped, the earthquake stopped, a white and pure light shine on people, every abnormal condition were restored. Lucas' injury got better, and in a matter of second, he was completely healed.

As the voice finished his announcement, the waves and earthquake disappeared as if they didn't exist in the first place. Then, a beam of light shined on top of a building. Lucas was chosen as a diplomat.
