'What the hell is this?!' Jack screamed internally.

[User. Do not be so dramatic. Welcome to the Peerless Raid System] The translucent blue board hovered in front of Jack and replied to him.

'Okay...' Jack took a while to make this sink in while he was in an alleyway, just dumped off by some bullied that just beat him. 'So, what exactly are you?' Jack asked mentally.

[User, I am the Peerless Raid System, I will help you become peerless while raiding anything] the system replied. 'So... how does this work?' Jack, then again, asked.

The system replied [Just think 'System' in your mind and you will have access in the next hour, see you then! :)]

'So the system even has feelings... huh?' Jack wasn't expecting that as the novels he read that had a system in it, the voice would always be cold and melancholic.

After this incident happened, Jack checked the time, it was August 2nd, 16:49PM. 'Well, I've got 30 minutes to get home, otherwise mother will get angry...' Jack thought to himself.

After 25 minutes of solitude walking and thinking, he arrived at a house, not so far from the centre of the city, where the most powerful people are and the most safe place.

In cities like Jack was in, the city has now a core area, where influential and powerful figures are, the inner area where the businessmen and businesswomen live and the outer area where commoners live. Jack's high school is located in the middle of the inner area and Jack's house is roughly a 30 minute walk from the school.

After Jack got home, he saw a tall, blonde woman, looking in her 30s with long, slim legs and a round face with arched eyebrows, black eyes, and scarlet red lips which went well with the red dress that she was wearing. This is naturally Jack's mother, Grace.

"Where have you been?!" Grace shouted, making hurried footsteps to the whip located on the side of the wall.

"Sorry, mother, I have been out with some 'friends'" Jack expressed the word 'friend' with more vigour to show his mother that he actually has friends rather than him showing his true face, getting bullied almost every day.

"Okay... you have been out with some friends... like hell you do!" Grace grabbed the whip and struck down at Jack's chest, causing a rip through his school uniform, which has been dirtied due to him getting thrown into the alleyway.

Not long after, blood started to drip down Jack's school uniform, causing the uniform to turn red like her lips.

Grace snorted coldly, and said "Go take a shower, you look like a mess, there are important people coming today to discuss about my future. Humph!"

Jack harrumphed and went to take a shower.

When he looked into the mirror, to look at his injuries, his black hair went past his red pupils, almost looking like a demon.

"Fuck, I can't see!" Jack decides to cut his hair and take a shower.

After he looked back into the mirror and thinks with his now short, rough, black hair and red pupils, he would become a model if this was before the dimensional cracks appeared. With an eerie smirk, he left the bathroom to head to the bedroom to get dressed.

After he got dressed, he laid on his bed, and started to doze off about how nice it would be to have his dad back.

When he was 10, his dad was a good parent and had learned to discipline him and dote on him. Later, his dad mysteriously disappeared, assumed KIA (1) which still didn't make him lose hope, thinking he was still alive.

While he was dozing off, he came back to his senses, and what he saw was the blue board in front of him, saying [HeHe... The Great Me, the one and only, the Peerless Raid System, is back!]

'.... Not funny' Jack responded.

[Anyway, I can now explain the things you want to know now, User.] the system replied cooly.

Jack was silent, letting the system speak.

[The Peerless Raid System, allows you to go to a different dimension from the other different dimensions that other humans cannot go to, and gain more from this isolated dimension. The system was applied with a shop, selling beast eggs, bloodlines, and other things to help you become peerless in this mortal world!] the system said, saying it with excitement.

"A D-d-different dimension!!! Are you kidding me?!" Jack replied with shock, stuttering with excitement and nervousness.

[And that's not it! The system has more functions hehe...] the system said in a mysterious tone.

"Tell me!" Jack said out loud, forgetting Grace was just downstairs. Grace heard this and shouted with anger "Just who are you speaking to?!" while Grace was making her way up the stairs. Judging from the steps, Jack can guess that someone really important is coming round so he decided to hide and hold his breath.

[Hehe... you've got to unlock that if you want to know... and really? Your hiding?, if you want to hide, just think 'dimension' and it will take you to the dimension I was talking about earlier] the system made a face at him, almost pouting if the system had a face. Jack obediently thought and he lost his 5 senses and was scared.

Grace came into the room, and found that no-one was there "where did that bastard go!?" Grace screamed at the top of her lungs before a knock on the door was heard.
