fWon was sitting at his table and writing numerous things as well as signing off on many pre-planned operations.
Ozaris said, "Master our plans have been sped up quite a bit will we be fine."
Won nodded, "Don't worry I've handled it."
Ozaris nodded, but his gaze locked at Won's hand.
Won said without even lifting his eyes from the papers below, "What's wrong?"
Ozaris knelt and asked, "Master is that a Sovereigns seal?"
Won looked at his hand and said, "Hm. Yes it is what is called a Sovereigns seal."
Ozaris said, "Your majesty."
Won asked, "What's wrong?"
Ozaris gulped and said, "A Sovereigns seal is very important your majesty. If a normal demon like me Cultivates to Godhood he is simply a Godking. His power and authorities are lesser to the Sovereigns. A Sovereigns Seal is an extremely important near impossible thing to have. Having more than 7 makes you a Sovereign of the Demon race. To obtain even one it is beyond conception. It is hard to gather what produces a Sovereigns seal to be simple it just chooses whoever it wishes. The Sovereign of balance and the Sea Leviathan has 12 Sovereign Seals."
Won looked at the tattoo on his hand and nodded. He said, "Indeed even from my base understanding of this, I can see how powerful Leviathan. Upon the Cultivation of a Godking, it would be like adding wings to a Tiger. "
Ozaris said, "On how to obtain them no one is really sure your majesty. Some say that completing all the Awakening Trials earns you the Seal."
Won shook his head, "No. I earned my Seal in my First Trial."
Ozaris nodded, "In the demon world we had an expert who also completed all six trials and he did not receive one."
Won said, "If we don't know there's no point talking about it. Now here send these to Lord Asai."
Ozaris nodded, "Master is it alright to be on defensive right now, with how powerful Sangria is if they put their full force our spread out and fragile defense would easily crumble, but if we were to use our tactics and the direct the battle to an area where we have an advantage we can quickly take the upper hand."
Won said, "No. A top dog like that won't easily bear down on us. They won't waste their time or resources on us. They will definitely do what we did to the forces of Suzaku, they'll starve and corner us eventually taking us in one move, or they will manipulate an controversy and force Ito to implode."
Ozaris said, "Like what you did with Ying."
Won nodded.
Ozaris then said, "Then we bet on one of the two options and make use of it."
Won smiled, "Yep. Why do you think I selected this time for Ying's little Rebellion? I had always planned to attack Sangria, it simply happened a bit early. They'll aid Ying in causing a civil war or atleast hoping Ito suffers to some degree. We'll just make use of that."
Ozaris said, "As your majesty commands."
Won said, "I'm a bit pissed off so let us hurry. Get those we are using Sigrid's name with to hurry and broker an alliance with Sangria, also get our spies and informants to spread information like what's listed in this document. Let them spend a ton of money... Then I'll make you waste all of that down the drain."
Ozaris nodded and said, "Yes master. I will immediately go and send word to our mercenary guilds."
Won's lips edged up, his eyes glowed a deep and violent purple.
...
In Sangria the Minister of Intelligent was holding a document, "Are you sure Ito has this much military power? Furthermore this is the expectant growth of Ito's military and Economy."
The Ten men in front of him nodded.
One said, "At first we similarly had our doubts, but over five hundred sources say the same. Of which about Seventy are from Ying and the about ten from Suzaku. The rest come from either Merchant groups or mercenary groups based in Ito or do frequent business with Ito. We've double checked it with our spies and the black web and it's seems trustworthy."
The Minister bit his lip, "Damnable Suyang, we could have easily brokered good ties with Ito when they were weak. Now this bloody shit is giving me a headache. Worst yet those bloody royals aren't taking this shit seriously because of their high heads. According to what I've personally heard and what I see, all I can call this fellow Won is a Predator. We can trust those fellows from Ying right?"
Another man nodded, "Yes. They've already tried a few terrorist attacks, but failed due to lack of resources and manpower."
The Minister nodded, "Very well then take fifty million from the chambers and buy off some mercenary groups and send then to aid Ying. I want them to atleast ruin 40% of Ito. Best is if they Kill Won."
...
Two months later.
A group of ten thousand were walking steadily forward.
A group made up of warriors, as such the air was still and the faint smell of blood remained.
A man with combed black hair over his right eye who sat upon a horse, with red armor wrapping his body and a long sword sitting behind him.
He turned to a woman and said, "Leader of Ying where are the rest of the troops? There should be five thousand more men!"
The woman was the de facto leader of Ying named Zhou Xin. She was the daughter of a Minister and also the friend of Princess Yuan'er. In two years her beloved and powerful Empire which was soon to cross the seemingly impassable barrier between a mid tier Empire and High tier Empire, was devoured. It didn't make sense to her, Ito a backwater down on it's face Empire suddenly becoming a cunning beast. No one expected it. After all the one who brought about this came about strangely as if drawn by a random and unpredictable wind.
She had lost her friend who had been made a political sacrifice.
Now her people laid under a different name and it sickened her. So she and a few others took up arms to try and fight Ito. Yet their God Of Victory almost seemed as such, no matter how they planned or what they did he was as if a ghost. He knew everything, he deciphered their greatest schemes as easily as it would be a walk.
Yet it wasn't simply the one named Won. The majority of her people weren't ready or willing to fight, they gave up and assimilated. What could she do all the heirs to the throne had been killed or forcibly married off to someone from Ito. Even Princess Yuan'er had been lost. in the people of Ying's eyes it was a losing battle.
Yet when all hope was lost he appeared. The third prince who had supposedly died.
After confirming this matter with a Blood stone which contained the drop of blood from the former Emperor of Ying. She used this to rally anyone she could, she brought about a second wind. Even Panyang and Sangria aided her, Merchant groups and Mercenaries came in droves to support her. She believed this was Heavens Mandate to remove the false head of Ito and reclaim the land of Ying.
Yet right now she was at a loss.
Five thousand mercenaries were missing, the resources promised by about fifty percent of the merchants was missing, and most importantly the Third Prince and his party was missing. What was happening?
She had planned and been assured so greatly, yet now everything seemed to be gone...
Although they still had a considerable force it was lacking the needed amount, no it would be better to say the confidence and assurance they should have had they lost.
A chill passed along Zhou Xin's back.
Just then an eerie silence descended.
The sky seemed to quake, trembling as if scared.
Just then one man with particularly keen hearing moved his ear.
"Do you hear that?"
What was that. A whistling, a sharp and unmistakable whistle of air.
Plop!
A woman fell suddenly, at her neck was a steel bolt.
"Ambush! Enemies prepare."
Everyone looked to the sky where the moon sat. Millions of dots filled the sky as they fell life after life was stolen.
The white moon had been sullied and had become a blood moon to them.
The man wearing red armor on horseback, waved his sword deflecting arrows left and right.
Just then they saw a lone man race forward, he moved fast, very fast. Yet they could slightly see him.
Long pinkish white hair, a sharp face and dragon like eyes.
The man yelled, "It's The God Of Victory!"
Everyone quaked and shivered as they sensed the violent vibrations of Aura that peeked from Won.
They got ready to fight yet Won flew past them, yet they were doused in some black liquid.
They all looked at each other in confusion.
One by one they ascertained what this substance was.
"Oil?"
Won stood behind them. A red flame born at the tip of his finger which he threw down.
Won smirked, "Born from flames, only then can you suit my purposes. Fight for your life."
The red flame like a galloping wild horse, or as if having been born from wind dashed.
It climbed across those covered in oil.
They screamed in suffering, and pain.
Some rolled on the ground, some peeled off their armor and clothes, yet nothing helped.
One by one they fell.
Won appeared above them.
His face twisted and distorted into a mad and cruel smirk.
Zhou Xin who was busy being bitten by the flames saw that smile and realized. She had been played with.
She felt despair and desolation, yet more so she felt a great desire... A desire to survive and make this man pay.
She dragged her body, even as her burnt body scraped against the ground. Even as nail biting pain filled her.
A even hotter fire brewed in her heart.
And she was not the only one.
Won's eyes glowed a purple. "Yes suffer and survive. Only then can you push forth and try and beat Ito. Try and fail..."
Won then turned to one burnt man and nodded. The burnt man nodded with a slight smile.
Won's smirk widened.
The flames had now begun to die out. The ground had transformed from hard, and firm dirt to a broken and shattered marsh of blood and oil.
The sky clouded over and thunder echoed. Lighting buzzed.
Won looked up and snorted.
He then dissapeared.
If only those below with fires in their hearts, if only they knew that The Predator had already marked their deaths...
