Won waved his hand and red colored Qi shot from his and spread throughout the air cutting apart various bugs that ran in drones towards Won.
Won's hair climbed up and fell as a burst of energy flew back towards him.
Won sighed as he leapt up.
He clasped his hands together and a small golden Buddha body wrapped around him.
Thin green tendrils shoot like bullets and struck at Won.
Won hurrumphed and then used {Five Yin Finger}!
A purple glow shot out of him, transforming into a sharp finger. It whistled as it shot through the air and cut apart the tendrils.
Won then shot a palm out. {Body collapsing palm}.
The ground cracked, fragmenting.
Everything that the hand came into contact with turned into dust and faded away.
Absolute silence pervaded the surroundings, then nothing remained.
Won was in an empty pit, where a single disintegrating, wriggling light green plant remained. It had one large eye, with a red pupil. It was crying in desperation.
Won walked over and crouched, "You probably thought I was a tasty meal right mister plant? Too bad I'm a God Emperor. I've fought countless battles. Unless you were an genius there's no way a few differences in Cultivation could best me."
Won patted it's struggling body, "Ai you must have worked hard. Plant demons have a hard time Cultivating. To reach this realm in this backwater place, I must commend you my friend. You must have worked hard... Too bad I don't care about your dreams and desires. You have some good essence to eat, I think this is perfect for Lulu. She has that strange physique that makes it easy for to interact with nature."
Won squashed it.
Won said, "Ai, but really this bugger is quite dumb. He spread poison to attack me, and then shot it's hands. It should've done the long game, yet it got hungry. No I was wrong in my analysis. It's not a normal plant demon. It's a new born. Ah, I see it's an aftereffect of what I'm going out to see."
Won dashed forward, taking into account this turn of events he couldn't dilly-dally. Let alone external pressure on the Ito Empire, what was growing in this forest meant that Won would be led astray into the unknown. It wasn't something he couldn't handle, but it was rather tiring.
Won reached a razed plain, where ash still burnt hotly upon ones cheeks and the earth was a searing heat that slowly bit at ones skin.
Three additional Won's arrived and greeted Won as soon as Won arrived.
Won said, "Sravaka, Pratyekabuddha, bodhisattva. How's the progress on what I made you do?"
They said uniformly, "We've been setting up the formation around Ito and it's countless lands and territories. We've made great progress due to Heavens constant comprehension of it being increased. At first it was hard to make any increase in accomplishment, even after weeks of effort. Yet now we have reached about 14% of the formations completion. By two years... Yes around that time taking into account everything, by then we should be at 87% or higher and at that point the formation can be used."
Won nodded, "Good. You made sure to seal the Qi flooding out of here right?"
They said, "Any formation of effort we strive to perform ends in failure, so we have been forced to absorb the emitted Qi. We are nearly dead with only a few days of lifespan left, and although due to this our Cultivation has increased forcibly much, much higher, our bodies and Meridians are completely destroyed. We are no better than wastes."
Won nodded, "I can't believe something like this happened while I was gone."
Won walked towards the source of the pulsating Qi.
As he got closer he felt a pressure fall on his shoulders and crush down on him, as well as a fierce heat, akin to a mad tiger.
Won's Qi hovered around his body as a protective coat, but it was being visibly devoured by intense heat.
Won eventually reached a place where fire jumped up and down like demons dancing, a bright glow much fiercer than the sun shot to the sky.
Won saw a katana sitting in the middle. It had red cloth binding, and a yellow tassle at the end fluttering in the wind.
Under the Katana was a head.
The head was burnt so fiercely it had turned an uncomfortable black. Yet the features on the face was still clear. A three eyed girl, with long canines reaching her chin, and having short light blue hair.
The katana ran through the head, leaving a ghastly expression remaining on it's face.
Won looked at the sky where the sun seemed to distort, and then took a gold coin from his sleeve and flicked it up.
It simply flew up and spun, not falling down.
Won sighed, "Hey these higher beings are rather dastardly. They're sending their problems to lower realms. Don't they know what this slight action could have done?"
Won sighed again and again, and after ten deep sighs he pat his head.
Won looked at the yellow fire that spun on the sword.
"Justice fire. Born in places of holiness, virtue or when one who is a master of fire gains great virtue. Although I say that in terms of fire in relation to 'justice' and 'good' it's not really that great. I really hate punks who have this fire, they are all so focused on forcing their justice on others, they take no consideration of the weak and pitiful."
Won said, "If this fire came from a normal person it would already be a bit annoying to deal with."
Won tilted his head, "After effects of this continuing to exist far out way the danger of trying to contain it. So now how do I collect it."
Eventually Won sighed, "A slow and steady method is the only one available."
Won said, "To be safe I should conquer this forest. I'll leave Asura and Animal here to slowly absorb it, and get the other three to switch in and out each day to accompany Asura, to prevent any unexpected circumstances happening."
Won looked at the three and said, "Finally you three come and hit me with it! Let's get it over with."
Won grit his teeth, as his Demon Idols turned to red sparks and merged with Won.
There's was a huge jump in exp. Won had already reached level 27 in one go. He felt a soothing sensation as rich Qi flooded his body and enriched his Meridians before settling in his dantian.
The Justice fire the three had absorbed spread rapidly through the alien environment that was Won.
They began to attack mercilessly, the thick energy enough to turn him to ash in seconds.
Yet Won's fingers danced across his chest, as he pumped it full of Qi.
He then cast as many {Magic circles of Healing}, with {Boost +} and {Undying Warrior}, as he could.
Won's heart began to bounce up and down as a suction began to erupt.
The fire energy was forcibly dragged into his heart, where his Mana and Qi in a combined assault began to weaken the flame. Meanwhile the countless stacked magic circles ensured that every second while he endured the pain of being burnt alive, he was being rapidly healed. The intense healing and destruction, simultaneously racing across him, as his nerves twitched innumerably from the great suffering causing his mind to spin uncontrollably.
Won coughed up some blood.
He then touched his hand on the ground.
He used {Man Earth transformation}.
The ground shifted and Won shot down deep into the ground, just to be safe.
Won closed his eyes as he went into deep meditation.
...
A boy could be seen running through a forest.
He wore a plain white long sleeved shirt, and green pants.
His black hair covered his black eyes.
The only thing remarkable about the boy was the necklace around him. It had a black ring in it, and inner to the ring was a ruby.
It chimed as it moved up and down like a bell.
The boy looked back, his face distorting into an ugliness so vile and unpleasant it was hard to comprehend.
He slid under a fallen tree and arrived at a dirty corner.
He picked up a shattered bark of wood, that had turned into a jagged knife.
He held it in his hand, a glow of red momentarily flashing through his eyes.
Yet right after that he dropped it to the ground.
His lips trembled, as he grabbed his head and sobbed pitifully.
Fear, weakness and suffering engulfed him like a big wave. He was drowning.
"Auntie! Auntie! Auntie! I'm so worthless! Everyone around me is dying! Everyone who loves me dies, I am a curse!"
"The one who is wrong isn't you."
A voice echoed.
"Mom said that one can never blame others for one's suffering. That's just buffering the pain onto others. One must accept themselves good and bad."
Another echoed.
"They're repulsive monsters. Why are we at fault... What did we do? Huh! Don't try to use words to correct this disgusting world."
The boy held his head, "It's because of me Mom and Auntie are dead! It's because I'm a worthless monster. If I could protect them I'd do anything."
"Hate this world that abandoned you."
The boy scratched at his face, "It's my fault that I'm weak, but it's this worlds fault I have to be so twisted. Yeah, that's right. It isn't my fault."
"You can't do anything with clean hands. To win... You must win. If you lose that's all, they win."
"Yeah. Why be good... When everyone's dirty and filthy, why bother to be good anymore? The people who talk about good are simply hypocrites and fools. Hehe. We're just bastards what right had the world given us to be innocently naive?"
"Let's be depraved demons. To win. We must win. Never let this sick world win."
The boy hid in the shadows, as night descended. The sound of steps rapidly approaching and the orange glow of torches filled the small place.
"Damn if that bitch hadn't been so crafty we could've finished this all by today. Now where the fuck could that kid be?"
From the shadows the boy jumped out towards the voice.
Without hesitation he stabbed into the stomach of the man with the torn jagged stick.
It pierced the man's gut and fresh blood squirted out, covering the boy.
Even as the jagged knife slid across the poor boys hands leaving them scarred. As the blood in his body and the body of his opponent mixed, as sin was born. He had a cold expression.
The other man saw this and slapped the boy away.
The boy quickly got up even as pain made his body ten times heavier.
He said in a low voice, "You've taken so much from me. Now you even want my life? No. I will never let you win."
He seemed to gain some strange strength and he pierced through the other man.
They both fell, and their blood pooled.
Their blood reflected the moon, and the boy.
The boys eyes were red, even the moon was red.
The boy said to himself, "I Won. Even if I'm a monster I won't let myself be weak anymore."
Yet the boy fell asleep, like a dream had passed. He woke up and remembered nothing of what he had decided to become.
Only a faint itchiness spread throughout the back of his mind, and a strange coldness touched upon his heart.
Perhaps that was the day a Demon was born.
