Yo y'all ~~

So this is going to be me speaking about a lot of things. And will be appreciated if you actually read it all. And there will be my BR's note towards the end.
First of all thank you so much to all of you who read this and voted too. I am very thankful to every one of you; especially the ones who stuck to it from the start to the end. It means a lot. And then thanks to my sister, my BR and my BF too. They support me a lot and even all through out this book too.
Also my friends who read my books. They always text me about how they feel after reading. It is one of the best things to me. I feel so good knowing they enjoy it just as much as we did while working on it.
There are a lot of things I told about this book in the starting Author Notice (chapter) itself and through out the publishing time too, but I can never speak little when it comes to my books. So you will listen more here.
It has been so long since I started this book. If I didn't make it 3 chapters later on, it would've still been on going. But I wanted to finish it off quickly, for a lot of reasons. And I did. I am happy for it.
This is definitely a special book because there are too many things that I picked up from around me in my life for this book; some knowingly and some without.
Speaking of those, Elijah is me which I already told a lot of times. Joshua is also me in a way but he is just a side of me. Unexpectedly he has a lot of similarities to my BR, which is awesome.
Some of my traits which unfortunately or fortunately ended up with Joshua, like his sarcasm. One of my friends used to call me sarcastic queen during college. 😂 So yeah that somehow ended up with Joshua instead of Elijah.
Elijah is a lot like me. He got too many of my traits. He is the male version of me with a lot of similarities, but more good looking, more talented and all . He is definitely a better version of me. He even has the most stupid one, which is bad pun. 😂 I don't think it showed much but he does have it.
He is actually the kind of guy who heard a lot of ' I didn't know you actually talk this much ' or ' did you just smile ? ' It is basically me though. I heard a lot of this and still do. Nothing offensive, it is just the type of person I am or Elijah is. He is free with only a few people and shows a lot of his sides to them.
And I got that RBF and intriguing eyes like my BR likes to put it. 😂 I do have expressionless eyes. And the type you don't want to mess with by first impression. I heard people say they don't know what is running in my mind even if they try. So that's Elijah right there.
Some major things which I really don't have in common with them is reading people. I really can't guess it sometimes because my brain just decided it doesn't want to function. 😂 I am that bad sometimes. So this is something I gave them even though I don't have it.
The differences I say I have with Elijah is one he is a guy. 😂 I mean, duh ! And he is a good cook, but I am decent not that good. I am smart. Not that I want to brag but I kind of am. But Elijah is like somewhere between three and a half and four. Almost four maybe. Joshua is one and a half levels above me maybe. But I'd say he'd be two or a little over it after Elijah's training. And I am no CEO nor rich dude. I am a very normal person.
Also, Elijah has lot of luck unlike me. I wouldn't say I am an unlucky person but mine is more balanced maybe. And I have times when I jinxed myself. 😂 But Elijah is the one on the has-a-lot-of-good-luck side of people. There might be a few things I am forgetting but I am putting all that I remember.
Also them bickering is something I picked from my parents. They do a lot. Sometimes I do find it cute too. 😂 So yeah that. And Nicholas actually reminds me of my mom for some reason. I can't pin point why but he does.
One more special thing about this book is that it only has the main couple. There are no side couples in it. The plot is also in a way very different. It isn't really all about them and still about them. 😂 So yeah I really wonder how I came up with this. 😂
When I actually wrote a synopsis for this, it looked like Elijah was the MC. But for some reason when I finished writing Joshua became the MC. I do feel bad for Elijah. 😂 Not like he isn't there much, he is. But more in the background. Even now if I have to give a briefing it would look like Elijah is the MC. Sorry for that to Elijah. 😂
Coming to changes I've made from the draft to the published version. One of them is the character's ages. I made them younger compared to what I wanted them to be. Then it is also a long book compared to my other ones. My draft which isn't edited itself is really long. And the edited version is even longer.
Also Nicholas turned out to be much cooler. 😍 Not that it is a bad thing. I personally really liked this change. I did write it almost the same but he was a bit less cool. But in the published version, dang. He's hot. 🤩😂
And there were a few things I omitted when it was coming to an end. They just felt unimportant there. So my BR also said just emphasize on the important ones and omit the others. And while I wrote the original draft, I was kind of short on time and all. So I rushed it and it is so chaotic. So we just decided on putting them aside. They had not much significance anyway.
Also I really like Elijah's full name, Elijah Simon. I borrowed that last name actually. I love that name. Even my BR actually. It is so good. I already said this. The last name is my BR's and that is one of the reasons why Elijah is my BR's son. 😂
Joshua is my son. 😌 I forgot to say this above, but Joshua is someone who is naturally cute. 😍 He doesn't even need to try to be cute but is born with it 😂 that kind of person. Also I am not sure why I wanted him to have a little long hair. It is something I wrote in the flow. But he would definitely pull it off really well. 🤩
Speaking of their future, I am not sure if they would have a daughter or son. If it is a son Joshua is going to have a hard time handling them. Because Elijah is going to teach all kinds of mischief. 😂 If it is a daughter, she'd definitely be Joshua's baby. They would definitely adore her a lot. So anything works.
And if you are wondering about the kind of parents they would be; Joshua is definitely the mom type. 😂 He would want them to be nice, disciplined and you know like a mom itself. 😂 Elijah is the one to spoil them to no ends. Be it daughter or son, he will spoil them a lot. 😂 He is the dad. Duh. 😂 My BR was like ' I KNEW Elijah will be the one to spoil them '. Absolutely right. 😂
I don't have any plans for sequels for this book. It has always been just this for me. That was all. Actually speaking, this book like I said before too, it made me put a lot of effort. So I never dared to think of a sequel. 😂 The chances are low even for the future. I already have a big list of books I need to finish and my future doesn't look as promising.
There are a lot of things I should do, so it looks like things will get difficult. So IF I ever think of it in the very long future ahead, you might get one. And it will most likely be Nicholas' maybe (?) or maybe the next generation. But I would ask not to have any hopes for it. 😂
Even I am on team #wish-elijah-was-mafia. 😂 But technically Elijah is a nice guy. Sometimes writing him made me reflect on myself. And I could never get myself to scold him. Because he was me in a way. 😂 But yeah I enjoyed writing him. Joshua too actually.
And... I guess that was all about it from my side.

First of all, I'd say CONGRATULATIONS to MG for finishing this book and getting it to 36K+ reads! Isn't that sooo cool!🤩
I would say it feels like yesterday when MG first sent me the draft to read, but this book took so long it doesn't feel that way😂 I'm kidding, I'm kidding (I can already feel Elijah staring at me from the corner); I remember being so excited when she sent me the draft and telling me about how it's about two guys being roommates and one of them being the CEO! I even remember deciding what their names should be and when we finally decided on Elijah Simon, we were simping for days over that name! And then came Joshua🤩 I just love both their names and them even more🤧❤️
As MG already said, Joshua and Elijah are just two versions of her, Elijah being her sarcastic, funny and witty side and Joshua being her cute, soft and gentle side😍 I always agree that Elijah is just MG in a guys body, they both emit the same aura of "you don't want to mess with them but when they get close to you, it's just soft fluffy hours🥺"
Coming to Joshua, he's just so smol and cute I can't!! I agree that I does share quote a few qualities with Joshua and I'm honored to be so. Then comes Nicholas.. Lord have mercy on me! Nick turned out to be so much more cooler and hotter than we expected and I'm all here for it✨🤌🏼
I still can't believe it has ended and I'm unable to digest that there won't be a draft that she'll send me the coming week🥺 i really do enjoy working with her, it's super fun trust me🤩 I'll definitely miss your A/N and our mini theater and us pulling Elijah's leg all the time! It was so much fun! (Sad soft hours)
But that's okay! MG has another book ready already which she'll be releasing from May 22nd, so look forward to it! Hope it gets the same amount of love that this book did.
I really really enjoyed reading this book, helping MG and simping over Elijah! It's just perfect and I've already told her this but i couldn't have asked for a better ending✨ it's just P E R F E C T. Everything from Elijah barging into Joshua's life, to Joshua slowly falling for Elijah to them getting together to the secrets being revealed and finally coming together in marriage, everything was so beautiful. It sucks that it's over but that's okay, I'll definitely come back to read this over and over! It truly is a gem and shows off MG's talent in writing🤩 MG YOU'RE AMAZING!
