"You know what." We are at her house right now.
"What" "I still need to teach you how to use your fire."
"That's not possible but you can try." I know it's not gonna happen but I let her do what she wanted.
"Did that work, try aiming at the sky." We went outside for this.
I tried to do it but nothing, like always. I frowned at her as I looked down.
"Sorry I tried everything but nothing in the record book says someone was born without fire."
I forgot to tell you we are different from other dragons. We have our own species called the Flamethrowers. It is so obvious why we are called that because as soon as we hatch we have our special fire. My parents were so worried because I didn't have my fire. When you are born, we have this thing on our hands that says what color your fire is. It goes away the second day you hatch so you alway have to check it to see it. But when I was born nothing was there, not a mark, not a word which is rare. Nothing, my parents rushed me to the doctors they didn't know why themselves. But enough of that I need to try to use my fire but how.
"Try thinking of someone or something you like, maybe that will work." Salmon woke me up from the nightmare of the past.
"Ok but this is the last time." I thought of everyone I loved and released it.
"Nothing again, maybe this was a stupid idea." She seems sad.
"It's ok, maybe we keep trying." I tried to make her smile and of course I did. I always made her smile but something was up with her smile.
"Is something wrong?" I said.
"I don't know." So that's weird. She is always happy.
"Let's go camping this weekend that always makes you happy." That made her happy in no time.
"Yay we have to pack, that's tomorrow."
