As Milo followed Mangrove out of the forest, the two ventured upon a vast area full of green grass and some weird species, that from far away looked to be similar to goats.
"Wow! This place looks breathtaking, but what type of animal are those?" Milo said. He absolutely adored these plains. After that crazy incident in the forest, these plains were enough to put a smile on Milo's face.
"Woohoo! You're right big boy, but what's your name? I forgot it" Mangrove said, while asking for Milo's name as he had forgotten it.
"It's Milo, and you're name's Mangrove right?" Milo replied with his name.
"Yup Yup! That is right Milo" Mangrove said. Now it was looking like that the two were finally becoming friends with each other, as Mangrove again tried a hand in their friendship.
"Hippity Hoppity! So are we friends now Milo?" Mangrove requested a friendship.
"Ummm! I guess Okay, but you have to answer a lot of my questions" Milo accepted the friendship but it wasn't blatant.
"Sure! But that's for later, for now should I take you around the Grand Plains of Felicia?" Mangrove said, and asked Milo if he wanted to take a look around the Grand Plains.
Milo agreed and the two went further into the plains. The plains were also full of very unique and luscious fruits. There were many fruits around there, but one of them caught Milo's eye. It was 'Loreria'. It had a different shape than the rest. It's shape was closer to a Diamond but it didn't have sharp corners. It was maroon in color, and had little brown dots on it. Mangrove insisted Milo to try it, but at first Milo refused it but it took a little more insisting to get Milo to try it.
"Yum! This is the most fresh and mouth-watering fruit I've ever had" Milo said, while defining the fruit as as a very luscious treat.
After this, the two continued to make their way further into the Plains. A lot of different things were there, from fruit carts with sloth-like creatures selling fruits in them to mole-like species who had made beautiful homes underground. The variety of stuff that was happening there, made Milo a little more amused by the Plains.
"Hey Sir! Please come here, I have the best fruits" One of the fruit-sellers asked them to come to him.
"Ooo Cheeez! We don't want anything" Mangrove replied to that seller.
As they passed through the market, Milo saw the diversity of fruits that were available. He wanted to buy some, but making his expectations true, the fruits were selling for money. But were they selling on just ordinary money made out of paper? 'No' The kingdom had it's own currency, the 'Cilif'. In plural, it would be 'Cileef'.
But Mangrove didn't have any Cileef on him, so they weren't able to buy anything. While moving forward, Milo saw some really well-built houses that otherwise he wouldn't have seen. There, they saw a house that resembled a mushroom. The house really appealed to Milo, he wanted to see it from inside eagerly.
"Wow! This house looks dazzling. Can we go inside?" Milo asked Mangrove if he could see the house from inside.
"Oh well, we can but.... it is someone else's house. I think you should avoid going inside. But we can go say a big 'Hallooo' to them. Would that do it?" Mangrove said, while making it explicit that they can take a look around the outside of the house, but they won't go in.
"Umm... Okay, I understand. Let's go say Hello to them" Milo really wanted to see the inside, but still agreed to only greet the ones living there.
Milo and Mangrove, both made their way to the house through the very neatly paved path to the house. The fences around the house were made of birch wood. There was a wave-like pattern drawn on the fences. When they came near the door of that house, Mangrove went ahead and knocked on the door. But they got a little surprise....
The door opened with a very very bright light coming from inside. They felt like that the light could make them blind. So, they backed out. But after some time, when the light finally dimmed a little, Milo and Mangrove went inside the house. The first thing they saw was the beautiful floor design. It seemed like it was made of mud but it was oak wood. There were wooden tables everywhere and on them were some very unique-designed vases. Plants, flowers, tiny fruits were inside all of those vases.
Then Milo and Mangrove saw the roof of that house. It was skin with no design or pattern. It was simple. There were also two windows with designs representing simplicity. But there was no one inside the house. At least that's what they thought. There were some wooden stairs on the left side going upstairs.
"Is there anything that's not wooden?" Milo funnily asked Mangrove.
"Oooh dibbidie! There might be. But the kingdom embraces wood. So, most of the stuff you'll find here will be wooden." Mangrove replied.
"Should we go upstairs now? There's no one in here" Milo asked Mangrove to go upstairs.
"Nah! Leave it for now dude. Let's go to my home. I'll show ya my carrots." Mangrove replied with a No but asked Milo if he wanted to visit his home.
"No, No! I wanna go upstairs. Maybe we could find someone there" Milo really requested Mangrove to go upstairs.
"Hooph! Okay Okay, Let's go then.." Mangrove unwillingly accepted.
Milo and Mangrove climbed the stairs. But what they saw upstairs wasn't just.... ordinary. They were very shocked. What was it? Was the thing even more astonishing than those vines...?
