At the same time, The Wild Man stared at them. His eyes had a profound darkness hidden behind his wolf hood and the spear in his hand looked elegant but wild within his grasp. The Wolf Pelt Coat on him was wild and dishevelled adding to the man's fierceness.
This was of course Seraph. The sight of two grown men threatening and laughing at weak children filled his heart with a tsunami of rage. The emotional flood gates that were being held back by the system opened, he was seething in pure hatred.
His eyes first glanced at the children. He felt a deep familial tie with them, he saw them as himself. Hot blood rushed to his forehead and his body tensed until his veins were pulsating.
'Bastards! What right do they have to harm such youth? I'll kill them all and consume their souls into me! John and Astrid, I've become strong… strong enough to kill bastards like these and protect others! Just wait alex, shi-won i'll kill you both… but first i'm going to murder these two.'
Seraph pledged to himself, the sight of these children made his heart ache. He couldn't stand it at all and the feeling of past inferiority made him embarrassed, he needed something to prove himself and these human looking faces looked good enough to him.
Despite being far from his goal to kill shi-won and alex, he felt unbelievable pride and anger rush into him.
The Dark Eyes in the darkness of his hood illuminated, causing the first man to squint their eyes. The other already unsheathing his saber and looking toward Seraph with clear killing intent. Not a single emotion escaped the two, seraph's face was like a canvas showing all of the emotions on his face which made them slightly confused.
'What did we do to this man?' They looked at each other, they couldn't recognize the man. He was also a foreigner. What could we have possibly done to anger this person to such a degree, but the next moment made their spines shiver.
Seraph's face turned into stone. His expression instantly relaxing and returning to an indifferent look.
The System was flooding Seraph's body with cool air, the extreme emotions were held back but the feeling they left made Seraph bold and indifferent.
The extreme emotional shift left the two men including the children looking at seraph with stiff expressions. Seraph had gone from red with anger to complete indifference in under a second.
The two armed men looked at each other and with mutual agreement both nodded their head at the same time, 'Someone like this needs to die! Immediately!' They were facing off against a psychopath with magical powers, a person like this is an unprecedented being of power to ever simply show up. But from what they had gathered, this person was still a cub and hadn't fully breached his peak power.
"Aiwal!" The First Elf Shot forward, like a ferocious tiger. He shouted at his friend, while his legs moved without any signs of stopping toward seraph.
Seraph swept his spear to the side, ready to face the man. He had an arrogant look of indifference plastered on his face, he had no fear either. This man was as good as dead in his eyes already 'People like you, should be destined to lose.'
Seraph held this to his heart. In one move he stomped on the ground, and rotated his spear with one hand sweeping it to cleave the man's head off.
The man swiftly rotated his body down, the spear narrowly taking his hair off. His elastic arm arched and snapped toward seraph's chest, the scimitar cutting a direct arc toward seraph's side. Seraph's eyes widened in surprise, he took a step back, the scimitar sailing in front of his chest. He twisted his spear, pulling it back and plunging it diagonally down toward the man's thigh.
The Man never stopped moving not even for a second, he moved his leg to the side and he struck out again aiming at seraph's other side however, his scimitar found purchase in the middle of seraph's wooden spear. The sound of iron echoed out. The man's face, froze. 'He blocked it with one hand?'
The Man's view had changed… he was completely shocked at the outcome. One must first understand the basic concept of leverage and strength. A polearm can break through a long sword defense not only by utilizing pure brute strength and force but also the significant amount of leverage the spearman had on his spear.
Seraph no longer had the same amount of leverage when he gripped his spear with one hand, therefore his scimitar should've moved the spear away and struck deeply into seraph's chest. However, not only had his scimitar failed to reach its mark. His scimitar had been statically blocked!
'He's not only a magic user but... This man is strong and he's also incredibly skilled!'
He leapt backward, however, seraph was already moving. Moving along with his opponent, he grabbed his spear with two hands and plunged it into the man's chest. However, he felt a considerable force on the tip of his spear. He turned his head, seeing the man's partner putting his entire body into a swing clashing with his spear.
Seraph felt the force of his spear be redirected, he immediately pulled back and quickly thrusted his spear toward the man he heard was called Aiwal.
Aiwal had already immediately retreated back, he spun his saber. He took an offensive stance with his saber above his head horizontally pointed toward seraph's face.
Seraph took the challenge, he pointed his spear toward Aiwai. Who looked to the side and said "Evindal, We can't use any honor in this challenge!"
Evindal, the man with the scimitar had beads of sweat going down his cheek from the first exchange, He gripped his scimitar tightly and nodded his head.
Seraph raised his spear, His expression turning serious. He originally wanted to take out Evindal with a quick thrust, however, he was stopped by their friend before it was too late… Now he had to fight a two v one fight…
He let out a deep sigh, 'I've done this before with the wolves… they are not stronger than the wolves… they aren't better than me. They are trash!'
The Three of them exchanged looks, then the battle begun.
The two allies charged toward seraph, while seraph stood their stoically. Then they clashed, the battle to the kids looked elegant and fierce.
Seraph thrust his spear, Aiwal had leaned to the side dodging it narrowly. His saber arcing toward, seraph's chest. A white spear was slowly forming over seraph's shoulder. Seraph had already retrieved his spear and turned it diagonal, the saber sliding off his spear as he twisted around and knelt to the ground like a wolf. A scimitar sailing above his head by a mere second, at the same moment seraph pierced toward the sky.
Evindal, arm immediately went limp as it twisted to the side and swung heavily against the spear tip aimed at his face. He then moved to take seraph's shoulder to find that seraph's spear traced around and struck against him.
Seraph had his back facing Aiwal, HoweverThe spear above seraph's shoulder at the same time shot toward Aiwal's leg, Aiwal immediately jumped into the air turning his body horizontal in the air. He spun in the air once before landing, to witness. Seraph's fierce strikes against evindal, who was put on the defense completely.
Seraph was like an eagle, his strikes came from the above. Evindal was being forced to back up after the first strike.
Aiwal dashed, he twisted and swung his saber down. Seraph swiftly moved to the side, hooking the end of the spear onto aiwal's back and throwing him forward. Evindal dodged his friend being thrown at him and charged forward, his arm turning into a snake reaching around and piercing toward seraph's neck.
Seraph lifted his spear slightly, gliding the sword up and to the side. Parrying it completely, and then cutting down and striking. The wooden end of the spear hit him, but even if that was the case. That strike still hurt like hell and contained a large amount of force behind it, as evident when Evindal's body crumpled to the ground in pain.
Seraph pulled his spear back, and then plunged it toward evindal's face. However, He felt an immense force on his shoulder. Pushing him and his spear to the side narrowly missing his target by an inch. He looked to the side, seeing that an arrow was poking out the hide of the massive wolf coat head on him.
The force of the impact alone made the skin beneath his cloak bruise. He turned around, seeing Aiwal turned around with a bow in his hand. He then heard Evindal roll away grabbing his scimitar and twirling it a few times before landing his furious eyes on seraph's figure.
Seraph took a step back, Aiwal was already loading in another arrow. Seraph dashed forward, looked at Aiwal and formed a holy spear in his hand, which shot toward Aiwal. His trajectory was off but that wasn't the point, he wanted to stop aiwal from shooting another arrow.
Which failed, Aiwal didn't even flinch loading another arrow. The holy spear grazed his figure and he pulled the string and let loose.
Seraph's reaction was speedy, using his awesome footwork, he suddenly turned around. He felt another harsh impact against his back. He took a glance at Evindal who was rapidly making way with his scimitar raised and for the first time smiled.
Seraph turn around without even stopping his mad dash toward Aiwal, who was forced to throw away his bow and take out his saber. He first did a short lunge toward Aiwal, who had deflected it easily.
He then pulled his spear up and struck down in an arc, Aiwal eyes narrowed. He took a step back out of measure for seraph to even strike into him.
However, Seraph didn't stop the swing, he allowed the spear to reach a quick reverse arc as he took a step to the side and knelt down.
Evindal and Aiwal paused, Seraph, had a cruel smile on his face. Evindal just behind seraph had both of his arms raised in the air, his scimitar just slightly above his head. His head then tilted down slowly, looking at the spear deeply embedded into his body. The armor around him didn't even put up a slight resistance to seraph's spear.
The shock and force of the strike stopped him from completing his strike. He coughed up blood, the color of his eyes fading as his arms dropped to his sides. Seraph suddenly stood up, pulled the spear out of their body and faced aiwal.
Evindal fell to his knees and fell to the ground like a leaf. The sight made Aiwal pause, his expression suddenly changed. This was one of his brothers that he fought and trained with… A person he knew since childhood suddenly died.
He flew into a flying rage, dashing toward seraph he raised his saber high into the air. However, seraph side stepped and swept his spear diagonally up their leg. Their body tilted back as their leg was cut off and flew into the air. At the same time, seraph's spear rotated in the air and then slammed into Aiwal's chest forcefully slamming their body into the ground.
