[ Adult Dark Wolf Killed 12 xp Gained ]
[ .5 Soul Gained ]
The Delayed Message from the system slowly appeared next to seraph's eyesight. Seraph slowly raised his shocked and pained eyes to the message and began to read it slowly to himself.
'Why did I get a soul? wait, Why did I only get half of a soul?' Seraph's face scrunches up in confusion, he shook his head trying to understand what the usage for the souls might be.
[ Souls are used for Upgrades. The Souls can upgrade any form of equipment that has been purified by the User. The user may also use souls to level up abilities]
'Wait I thought you said I don't collect souls!'
[ Host said 'Can I take souls?' which host cannot do. The host acts as a walking transport for souls. Things that die within the Hosts hands or are killed directly by the host are automatically transferred to the host. As the host levels up, soul attraction increases more which can give the host the ability to be a walking soul magnet. ]
Seraph thought he could hear a small sigh, Then he saw the message continue.
[ Monsters and Animal souls cannot match the strength of a human soul. This system souls are based off the strength of a human soul]
Seraph nodded, Then paused, 'Wait, purify was useful?' Seraph was slowly forgetting about the burning pain around his leg.
[Purify can purify anything and make them into holy materials and weapons. The weapons imbued with grace and elegance are perfect weapons against any creature. The Armors become imbued with divine defense and can fend off against any attacks.]
Seraph hung his head down low, 'Wish I could've known that earlier…'
[The description already informed the user]
The status screen pulled up.

'That's not much information! You're a shitty system!' Seraph read the purify skill description quickly and immediately got angry.
[ Maybe the host is just retarded. ]
Seraph blinked at the message, 'Retarded? You-'
The system made a loud beep noise, then text began to scroll down in seraph's vision with the accompanied sound of keys being pressed on a keyboard.
[ Host should use this opportunity to increase the experience of some of your skills and run. Before the wolves realize they can all gang up on you. ]
Seraph's train of thought disturbed and with the new thought inputted by the system imputed, He begrudgingly looked at his status screen and looked at his active skills 'How do I level them up?'
[ Tap on the skill you would like to level up and then input the amount of souls you would wish to use]
Seraph allocated the soul he gained to holy spear.
A little description appeared below it.
Holy Spear
[ Level 1, 1/100]
Seraph stared at this in surprise 'Does that mean i have to kill hundreds of wolves in order to upgrade only one of these things?'
Seraph sighed, he then closed all the tabs that he opened up. With his vision cleared he saw the ash pile of the late boss wolf.
Attempting to stand up he immediately knelt back down, with both of his hands shooting toward the area of pain. He had almost forgotten about the wooden stick that had pierced his calf.
He grit his teeth, placed a hand firmly around the wooden stick and pulled it out of his leg. He let out a whimper as he felt massive amounts of pain shoot up his leg. Tossing the wooden stick aside he fell back down on his butt. Covering the wound, with his hands.
He looked around, realizing that the wolves that had surrounded him were gone. They also didn't look like they were going to come back any time soon, he guessed the visual of their boss literally turning into dust really scared them off.
Seraph opted to stay in place, 'John, is going to come and help me up… I can't really get up or I might worsen the wound.' Seraph then had an idea.
He attempted to use holy light to fix up his leg, but failed... Causing another more normal idea to pop into his head.
'I could make a bandage and make less trouble for him.' He looked around at his surroundings, there were vines and leaves of all sorts of stuff that he could use… but he opted away from them and then took off his chestplate, ripped off a piece of his clothes and wrapped it around his leg.
Being uneducated about nature, he couldn't really bring himself to grab a random vine or leaf and attempt to use that as a bandage for his wounded leg.
He just sat there and waited. His eyes felt heavy, he assumed it was because of the excessive amounts of blood being poured out. He kept a close eye on his wound to see that blood was pouring out excessively enough to make a slight pool of blood under his leg.
After an hour of waiting, he realized that blood no longer poured out of his wound. After an hour his sleepiness disappeared, unable to understand it made him feel worried.
'Maybe I'm gonna pass out from blood loss! I can't pass out now! The wolves are gonna eat me alive!'
With a mixture of fear, he drifted his hands to the wound. He wanted to check it, probably replaced it with another bandage. He slowly undid the not that he did around the leg, his eyes shot open the wound looked horrible still because of all the blood around it but when wiping some away he could see signs of the wound already being closed up. It looked like a 2 week old cut.
Putting some strength into his leg, he felt a small bit of pain shoot up his leg, However, that was it. This made him slightly happy 'Pain resistance really has put off some of the pain i'd be feeling currently.'
Although he felt like he could walk normally with some difficulty, he still treated the wounded leg with grace. He pressed almost all his weight on one side trying to avoid stepping too hard with his wounded leg, because he felt like the leg might get further injured if he didn't take care of it.
Seraph walked the path he had just come from, on the way he found the base of the hill at the base of the hill he could see a book.
'Damn! It must have fallen off when I rolled down the hill!' Walking forward he picked it up and placed it underneath his clothes.
He then began crawling up the hill, it wasn't steep like a mountain but steep enough to make unlucky travellers like seraph fall down it if they weren't careful when walking. Seraph cringed slightly, he saw his own trail of blood as he climbed up the hill…
It looked brutal… But he held on and continued his climb. He couldn't find his knife though, which made him slightly disappointed. However, he was not that disappointed because with this new holy spear, he could do more damage than he ever could with a knife.
