A 30 minutes ago, inside the gazebo,
"Mmmph!!"
<
The person speaking was short and fat, with short combed hair and a thin moustache, he looked like a teddy bear of sorts... just like a certain monster, his skin was a dull green... Indeed, this man was a morkoda, but unlike his bald and hideously deformed brethren, this one was less monster and more human.
"Puahh!! Can't you at least untie me?!"
The struggling girl was of course Ana, her arms were tied to the back of the chair and her mouth was gagged... Formerly gagged, anyway. Much to the annoyance of the portly morkoda, she was thrashing about with as much vigour as a dog seeing its owner.
<
The morkoda was naturally surprised at her comprehension of his words and was overjoyed at the news. But even with the joy of this revelation covering him, he ultimately could not fulfil her requests.
<
"So? It'd be a small price to pay if it meant I would get out after those things had its fill!"
<
<
Just as he was about to argue back, the pair was interrupted by another voice. When the morkoda saw who entered, he rushed forwards in joy before saying:
"Thank goodness you're here! I need some help with her!"
When Ana turned her head to look, her complexion instantly worsened as she started to scream:
"You! Just you wait! Mikhail's going to come for—" But before she could continue any further, she was immediately interrupted by the gorgod:
<
"Hiih!!" That's right, it was the gorgod. The very same one who almost killed her Mikhail.
Seeing Ana quiet once again, the chubby-morkoda took the chance to place the gag on her mouth again. Sighing, the morkoda looked at the gorgod and said.
<
<
<
The morkoda spoke bitterly, to which the gorgod just nodded.
<<...Well, no time like the present! It's either die by her hands or die by the current queen's hand. We're just grunts anyways to her anyways.>>
the morkoda spoke, his voice cheery and bright, but you could tell he was faking it from his tone.

Back to the present, Mikhail
-Woosh!-
Mikhail was the epitome of silence, sneaking behind every boulder he could find lest he'd be discovered by one of the guards.
'As many hiding places an almost empty cavern like this could have. But damn is this place huge; good thing Emma scouted the place using her magic,'
Even when he was in the middle of his thoughts, Mikhail was sure to be quiet, all the while approaching his destination: a small grotto just ahead of him. But before he could take another towards it, there was a loud interruption he couldn't possibly ignore.
-BOOM!!-
Hearing the explosions to his right, Mikhail knew it was Emma. Only her spear could cause that large of an explosion...
'She really is hot-headed, hasn't been 10 minutes yet and there's already chaos,' Mikhail grumbled to himself, but after a few more seconds of cursing her silently, he decided to go ahead with the plan...
***
"Achoo!"
'Strange... I think someone just cursed at me,' Emma wiped her runny nose with her steel gauntlet, wondering who had just wished her dead.
-BOOM!-
Before she could ponder further, Emma was quickly interrupted by a giant explosion right in front of her, and jumping away from it, Emma smiled at her opponent.
<
There, just a few cedars in front of her was a giant gorgod, but unlike the pure inky black skin of our beloved gorgod, this one had a dull grey hue with long red stripes littered on his body. The gorgod wielded a comically giant war-axe, which was the likely cause of the prior explosion.
-BOOM!-
"Hah! That axe is way too slow for me!"
Emma simply slid under the gorgod's leg before mocking the gorgod. Turning around, it roared in anger before rushing after her in a rage.
<
The gorgod ran with all its might, each leg making a deep depression into the ground, before jumping for Emma, like a wolf pouncing at its prey. But in response to this wild show of strength and bravado, Emma just smiled.
"Aye, It's time I ended our little dance, you've been a wonderful partner," Emma suddenly whispered, so soft only she could hear it.
In a flash, Emma appeared in front of the gorgod's face, and with one clean swing of her spear, separated head from body thereby killing the grey beast.
-Thud!-
And as she landed, its giant, ogre-like body fell to the ground; causing the earth to tremble. Of course, she wasn't finished with her 'dance' as there were many such partners awaiting her.
-Splurch!-
A sticky wet splat sounded from outside Emma's field of vision. Turning her head at the disgusting sound, she was met with the bloated body of a fairly large morkoda right beside the decapitated gorgod.
-Gulp!-
"What?"
Blinking her eyes, Emma suddenly couldn't find anything besides the morkoda anymore! No body, head nor giant axe. Evidently, the morkoda had something to do with it: Wiping its saliva from its abnormally fat and puffy face, the morkoda began to speak:
"You... Girl... I will... Eat!"
"Interesting, you can talk?"
"Ate... Hundreds... Of you... From them... I talk!!"
"Well, that thing besides you was your last meal, so revel in the knowledge that your last taste of food was your very own brethren," Emma declared right as she readied her spear in preparation for battle.
"Ate... Thousands... No... different! Awooo!!!" And with that gluttonous howl, the morkoda bolted for Emma, ready to devour her whole...
