"Did you just laugh?!"
Calix immediately shrunk, hiding his face. "I-I didn't mean to l-laugh!" he exclaimed, covering his face.
He always had this cheerful personality on him when he's around people, but Gray wasn't that dumb to realize something. This one was a genuine laugh. He admits that he already has some of Calix's attitude imprinted on his mind. Thanks to the time he spent at his place.
Red lowered his head and frowned. "At least take my side, won't you?" he's referring to Calix.
"Hey, why are you asking him to take your side?!" Gray snorted back.
Red stood up, leaving his spot. "I'm going to call Hawk at the balcony. You two talk first.." then he walked away.
The atmosphere turned silent again when Calix and Gray were left there. Come to think of it, Gray never gave some thought to Calix staying here. Besides, Red only had two rooms, enough for both of them.
