Calix put Ash inside as soon as they arrived at his place. He invited the two to eat at his bakery cafe. Just like what he said, he invited Red to show his gratitude.
However, the male introduced himself as Jin.
"Stay here for a while. I will prepare something for the both of you," Calix said, pointing at the empty table to let the two sit. Since it's already dark, he asked them to at least eat something.
As soon as Calix headed to the counter, Gray immediately smacked Red. "What the heck are you doing?" He whispered.
Red rubbed the back of his head and replied. "Why? I already told you that I happened to see Ash in the middle of the road. I didn't plan this."
Gray snorted. He crossed his arms. "Why did you pretend that you didn't know me?" he asked, squinting his eyes.
Red smirked. "Because I don't want him to know that we were acquaintances. He will suspect us," he whispered back.
