As the curtains blew the morning air, he opened his eyes. His other arm trailed the side of the bed, only he realized that he was alone. Soheun was surprised, Taehyun woke up earlier than him. He lifted his upper torso and rubbed his eyes.
The morning rays of the sun once again penetrated through the thin spaces between the opened window. It hitted Soheun's face which turned out like he was sparkling handsomely so early in the morning.
He brushed his own hair and then he swayed his head at the edge of the bed. He quickly finds his cotton slippers under. Then he went to the bathroom to wash his face. After snapping himself back, he realized that he needed to check his phone. He picked it up from the side desk and then checked if Doctor Shin called him.
Soheun was stunned upon seeing a call received by him before the time he woke up. He doesn't remember that he stood from the bed just to answer a call. His alarm also didn't wake him up. Soheun widened his eyes, "Taehyun!"
He dashed downstairs, hurriedly. And as expected, the house was empty. When he got to the kitchen, he saw the food prepared by Taehyun. He approached the kitchen counter and took a bite of the toasted bread. There he saw the note, 'I'M GOING TO THE HOSPITAL'
Soheun bawled his eyes and got choked by the small piece of bread he was munching. He gulped some water and headed upstairs. Not even giving attention to the clothes he was grabbing from the closet. He also realized that his car key was gone. He had no choice but to take the morning bus.
Because there was no traffic, he arrived at the hospital just right in time. That is also one of the reasons why their condominium is close to the hospital. For him to arrive immediately in case of emergency, like this. He didn't ask for the receptionist anymore since he already knew Tae Jun's room number.
He took the elevator and stopped at the 5th floor. He dashed towards, not even giving attention to the people walking with him in the corridors. He reached the door, but when he was about to grab the handle, his chest tightened. He was doing everything to keep Taehyun away from Tae Jun. Though he knew that one day, this day will come. If the two meet right now, he couldn't do anything but face the consequences.
"Excuse me, sir?"
Soheun was stunned when one of the nurses came to him. It was Doctor Shin's assistant. "Are you looking for the doctor and Mr. Hwang?" he asked, which made Soheun nod his head in response.
The nurse smiled at him, "They are at the office right now, if you want I can accompany you there," he suggested. The two then halted again back to the corridors and reached the office in a half minute.
Feeling nervous, Soheun didn't hesitate to open the door. There he saw Doctor Shin in front of the computer, standing with Taehyun, who immediately saw him.
Taehyun widened his eyes, surprised. "Soheun?! You're here!" he exclaimed.
Seeing that the male was okay, Soheun cursed out, "Geez!" He halted forward and then he grabbed the male onto his chest and hugged him. "You made me worried," he uttered.
Taehyun was shocked. He felt the tight embrace of the male enveloping his body. He pressed his head onto Soheun's chest, hearing his heartbeats. "I'm fine," he replied.
Doctor Shin cleared his throat. It made the two separate from each other. "You're late, Soheun.." he said, adjusting his glasses. "Tae Jun was put in the emergency last night, I've been calling you but luckily, Taehyun was the one who answered my call." he said it while looking straight at the man's eyes.
Soheun got what the doctor wanted to say. He glanced at Taehyun. "I need to talk to Doctor Shin, Can you wait outside for a while?" he asked, brushing the male's hair.

Taehyun frowned. "I don't want to wait outside," he sternly said. "Why do you want me to wait outside? Tae Jun is my brother, right? Do I need to explain why?" he said, cold eyes. He will never let this opportunity slide. He needed to know more about Tae Jun's condition and as Jinli, it was the best move.
Doctor Shin was startled, he glanced at Soheun like he was sending some telepathic message. 'Should we really let him know?'. Soheun blinked his eyes, 'He was stubborn, you know that'
"Why are you two so quiet? Are you hiding something from me?" he snorted, Piercing the two with his squinting eyes alternatively.
Soheun grasped Taehyun's shoulders. "Calm down, I'm going to talk to the doctor before talking to you.." he looked at him with pitiful eyes. "I don't want you to get shocked, okay?" He hugged the male and brushed his back.
Feeling his warmth, Taehyun calmed down a little. He leaned onto the male's chest with his gloomy eyes. "I'm just worried," he whispered.
Soheun squeezed him tight and gave him a kiss on the head. Although he was still wondering, it was a good sign that Taehyun is now starting to care for his twin brother. He thought of ending everything if that happens. Maybe Taehyun will not force him into this relationship anymore.
'Did he really change?' Doctor Shin thought, watching the two. Soheun endured everything all alone. Running on Taehyun's palm like a puppet this whole time. Of course, he will do everything if it's for Tae Jun.
He didn't want to say it, but Taehyun was very different today.
"Okay, fine.." Taehyun let go of the hug. "I will wait outside," then he walked away, closing the door. Leaving the two inside the office.
Soheun finally released a sigh of relief. "I thought I couldn't convince him anymore" he brushed his face. "What happened to Tae Jun? Is he still taking the medicines? How about his IV fluids? Is it still compatible with his body? Please tell me everything," he slumped on the chair next to the desk. Shaking and worried.
Doctor Shin saw how affected the man was. "Soheun, what would you do if Taehyun did the things he did in the past? What will happen to Tae Jun?"
