Unlike other classes, the election for the class rep of Class 1-F is held one month after they enter the school. Previously, all the students took turns to be the class leader every day. I purposely implemented this system. There is no special reason, I just try it for fun.
Four students were raising their hands: Roman, Hide, Sera and Akemi. They raised their hands to nominate themselves. Roman and Sera smiled, their faces showing confidence. From the four students who nominated for this election, I actually hoped that Hide would be chosen. His leadership aura was sharp. In my opinion, Akemi's speech is the best. The Vision and Mission she plan for the future of this class are very clear. The ideas are also inspiring and out of the box.
The class is so noisy, it's like a presidential election.
Finally, the voting started.
The twelve students who attend will vote respectively.
This is an easy election, I think Akemi will be chosen no matter what. It because she was the most popular student in the class, and her speech was also very good.
However, the result is not as I expected. It makes me surprised. I don't know what my students thought, but is Akemi failed to be elected.

I don't know why Akemi didn't get a single vote. Hide whose speech was bad even got 2 votes. Why this can happen?

Because Roman and Sera have the same results, I decided to continue the election to the next stage. Hide and Akemi have been eliminated. Now the only candidates are Roman and Sera. The next stage is a question and answers session with the candidate for class rep.
Akemi and Hide back to their seat. All of the students are ready to ask questions. Roman and Sera seem nervous, their expression looked very serious.
"Those who want to ask the candidate for class rep, please raise your hands!"
Shuu was the first to ask, he raised his hand. "Roman and Sera. Which do you think came first, Chicken or Egg?"
"I think the chicken came first, because in the past Chicken was a large bird dinosaur and evolved continuously until it has small size like now, and finally it was called Chicken. Chicken eggs existed after that avian dinosaurs evolved into Chicken. So, Chicken was the one who there was first. " Sera explained.
"No, Sera, I think the egg comes first. In the past, avian dinosaurs produced eggs, but no one incubated them until they became extinct. Due to the development of the times, dinosaur eggs became smaller, eventually hatching themselves, and chickens came out. So, eggs were the first one, then the chicken. " Roman refutes Sera's argument.
I wondering. Why do they answer Shuu's silly question? Roman and Sera even argue about it.
I mean, why do you ask about the history of Eggs and Chickens at the class rep election event?

The class is silent. Akemi shows no expression. Hoshi's still looked serious.

"The chances are 90%. You're an honest and dependable person. Akemi loves someone like that." Sera chuckled a little when answering that question. She lied on purpose so that Hoshi would choose her.
"Impossible!!! Akemi doesn't like bald boys!" Roman answered too honest.
"What???!!!" Hoshi offended.
Hoshi fights with Roman after that incident, but they got along again after Maggiana glare at them.
After that, the question-and-answer session started again. All the students ask silly things. Their questions had nothing to do with the duties of a class rep at all. Really, this class is extraordinary.
After the question and answer session was over. The results were drawn again. Here are the results:

Sera: 7 Votes
Since their number of votes was still the same, I was forced to ask the two candidates to discuss on their own.
Finally, Sera gave in. Roman get the job, Sera became the vice. The class representative selection event was finally over. The students sat quietly again.
I'm still curious why Akemi who is so great wasn't chosen. Finally, I try to ask Ota. He then answered.
