Zhang Yanhang was afraid of facing groups of Lickers for this very reason; he feared being treated to the sort of experience that only a Tyrant would enjoy.
However, he didn't possess the immense strength of a Tyrant. He felt that there was a high probability that he wouldn't be able to break free, and then he would end up literally 'Five Licks Corpse.' Even if he wasn't dismembered right away, he guessed that other Lickers' tongues would likely puncture him full of holes first.
But now, Zhang Yanhang didn't need to worry about this issue anymore, because the attacks of the Lickers could no longer penetrate his defense. This meant that he could deal with Lickers more leisurely. Or to put it another way, the status of Lickers had fallen to the same level as Zombies and Zombie Dogs in his eyes, since none could breach his defenses.
