Chapter 13: His Daughter's Test!
A week later, Judith came back from Las Vegas. When she got home, she excitedly told her father what she had been up to in Las Vegas.
Borg acted as if nothing had happened and listened to her intently. As long as Judith was safe, she could speak about anything to him.
Hearing Judith's words, he pretended to be very interested.
As Judith had returned and was safe and well, Borg decided to reward her with all the housework!
Judith was stunned and began to complain, "Dad, is it because I'm adopted that you don't love me?"
When Borg heard this, he stood stock still and a guilty expression formed on his face.
To him, Judith was his daughter, and that was how he looked at her.
Judith thought she had said something wrong, or that she had gone too far and hurt Borg.
But before Judith could think about it, Borg came to her side and whispered in her ear.
