As the last few particles of Jenny left the stage, Riqar felt a burning rage and frustration build up inside of him. He had been stuck at the entrance to the Peak of the Blood Stage for almost 2 years at this point. No matter how many resources Elder Sun nor himself had gathered and used, something was preventing him from breaking into the Blood Stage.
While many 'talented', beastkin with strong bloodlines, or those with sufficient resources could advance through the first three stages within the first 15 or so years, those who could actually enter the Blood Stage at a young age were highly praised and sought after by many War Bands. Out of 1000 beastkin, maybe 200 would be able to reach the Blood Stage at all.
