-Three days later-

It had been a few days since the final of the Quidditch World Cup, where the fiasco of the Death Eaters attack took place, as well as the murder of some of them.

The British wizarding community was still in an uproar, with the central focus of the news being the deaths that took place at the event.

And the reason for this confusion over the deaths was because, just as I had predicted, people began to find out through gossip and hearsay that the respectable purebloods who died were actually part of the group of racist fools who were causing terror and panic in the place.

And then there was something else going on because of the Death Eater attack, and that was something I hadn't anticipated, but which I should have expected if I had given it a little more thought.

And that something was the fact that some countries were demanding explanations about what happened, mainly the Bulgarians and Irish, with many ministers and powerful wizarding families who suffered because of the attack wanting compensation and answers from the pureblood families who had a relative involved in the riot.

I had no way of knowing what was going on in these families internally, but thanks to the connection my family and I created with Amelia, she gave us some insight.

And besides her, Theo, Lily and Astoria also had some interesting information, and I couldn't thank you enough for befriending these friendly Slytherins.

Well, back to the information...

From what I could understand in a general context, the ministry and the minister are being pressured by other countries to apply appropriate punishment to the 11 families that were recognized as having been involved in the attack that night.

And among these 11 wizard families, 4 of them were powerful and influential families in our community, and could even be considered ancient houses.

And those families were the Yaxleys, the Rosiers, the Carrows and the Notts, and those four families were part of the very select and 'respectable' group known as the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

And that group is no less than 28 families who are considered the most important in the British wizarding community for being pure blood, never getting involved with muggleborns or muggles.

Of course, this group is only considered important to those who believe in blood supremacy, so the rest of the community ignores them.

But back to the subject I was surprised when I found out that one of the Death Eaters I killed was part of Theo's family, but later he explained to me that this Death Eater was one of his cousins.

And for some reason I got the impression that Theo was sad that his father wasn't the one who was murdered, but I understand him. With a shitty father like his I would also wish him dead.

But well, these families are now suffering the pressure of the entire British wizarding community in addition to having earned the grudge and hatred of some foreign families.

Of course, there were also some families from other countries who were trying to remedy the situation so that nothing would happen to their 'allies', and unsurprisingly these families also share the thought that their pure blood makes them superior to other beings.

Now with much of the public opinion turned against him thanks to his relentless defense of those families accused of the attack, Fudge will likely put even more effort into the Triwizard Tournament to try to leverage his popularity.

And realizing this and all the other things that are happening in the world outside, I was once again reminded why I hate politics and everything that goes with it.

I simply wanted to take the pressure off the coming war by killing some of Voldemort's supporters beforehand, but my actions created a bit of confusion, which I expected, but not to this degree.

But even hoping that would happen I still couldn't help but admire how a few simple actions or situations could change the British wizarding community, and even the wizarding world at large.

I just hope that with all that's going on these days, people don't forget the pointlessness of Fudge and the crimes of these wizarding families when Harry and Dumbledore reveal that Voldemort is back at the end of this upcoming school year.

-Two days later-

'Hmm, even after 14 years I still find it strange to walk around the city and see that it is so different from the modern world I was used to in my other life' I thought, looking at the cars, buildings and shop windows around me.

Things around me didn't have the modern and technological appearance that I was usually used to seeing, and I started to wonder if the development of this world in these aspects would be different from my old life.

But that aside, I continued to walk around town, trying to clear my mind of some dark thoughts that came and went.

I knew I wasn't totally fine, as I was still trying to recover from my moment of aggression and euphoria in my hunt for Death Eaters, where I started to question whether my Beast Power was turning me into a true beast, and whether I was a danger to my family.

Of course, I knew I would never hurt my family, but after that day I started to wonder if maybe I needed to take some precautions against myself.

And my parents noticed that I hadn't been well since I got back from camp at the Quidditch World Cup Final, and even though they didn't ask me what happened they understood that I should go out and take a walk around town to clear my mind, which is what I'm doing.

And luckily now those bad and dark thoughts were at the back of my mind as I was focused on the relaxing and calming feeling that my walk around the city brought me.

And I again thanked my parents in my mind for giving me a break from my grounding so I could walk around and relax a little.

Of course, I was still grounded and they still wouldn't allow me to use magic at home, and I will only be able to return to my studies and research when I return to Hogwarts, but even so I wasn't sad or upset, as I knew I deserved it.

You could even say that the punishment my parents gave me was light when we remember that the reason I was grounded was because I had done something that risked my life.

Actually, if it had been any other parents than mine, I would have received more punishments and they would have even removed me from Hogwarts.

But not wanting to think about it anymore I shook my head, continuing my walk.

After a few minutes of walking I arrived in front of one of the city's parks, and stopping I looked across the street, seeing that there was a new bakery there.

"Hmm, it must have been opened this year" I mumbled, not quite sure as I didn't leave the house as much as I used to.

And looking at the bakery windows I saw some people eating their sweets with satisfaction, and I felt my stomach rumble.

"Well, since I have nothing to do, I think I'll stop by that bakery and try some of their cakes." I shrugged, before crossing the street.

After entering the bakery it didn't take long for me to find a place to sit in front of the window, and not a second later a waitress came to take my order.

And after waiting a while I was now looking at a large piece of chocolate cake with oranges, which looked quite appetizing.

'Hmm, I've already done a lot of things that were on my list of plans' I thought while eating my cake, looking at the window in reflection, 'Now I have to prepare for the Triwizard Tournament, but before the tournament I have to do a few more things'

And with that in mind I started thinking about the request that Marcel made me, where he asked me to visit the hill where he spent the afternoons as a child and leave some flowers on the tree, which was the most meaningful place for him and his mother, because it was where she left gifts, books and food for him.

And besides that I was also thinking of getting another one of Riddle's Horcruxes, which was the easiest one for me at the moment.

And I'm talking about Marvolo Gaunt's Ring that was in the Gaunt Shack. The only problem I could find when going to get this Horcrux is that I didn't know if I had the necessary skills to break the wards and curses that Riddle put in the shack.

'Hmm, maybe the Elder Key that Penny gave me can make the wards unusable' I thought, 'I'm 80% sure that the Elder Key can help me in this situation, since Penny who created it, and I'm sure that she is better than Riddle when it comes to runes and wards, no matter how genius he is'

And nodding a little proud of my adoptive grandmother's achievement, I already started making plans to go get this Horcrux.

End.
