-A few minutes later – In the Kitchen-

"Are you sure it was wise to leave him with your mother?" Remus asked Sirius, occasionally glancing at the kitchen door with a worried look.

"Hmph" Sirius huffed, "The only thing I'm sure of is that I didn't want to be between him and my mother, not with me knowing he was pissed off."

"You sound like you're afraid of him" Remus said jokingly, but Sirius glared at him, "Are you?" he asked confused.

"You don't know how scary a fourth year student can be," Sirius said in a empty voice, looking at his friend with eyes devoid of any emotion.

"Okay…" Remus said slowly, looking at his friend with a strange look.

But while the two friends were lost in thought, with each wondering what was going on in the entrance hall, the kitchen door opened and I walked through it with a calm expression on my face.

"So how did the talk with my lovely mom go?" Sirius asked me with an expectant look as soon as he saw me.

"Let's just say that from now on you won't have to worry about her bothering you anymore," I said dryly.

And in the entrance hall in her portrait, Walburga sat as she stared straight ahead with an astonished, frightened gaze, muttering something about a magically powerful demon and threats to live forever sunk in dragon dung.

And back in the kitchen Sirius looked at me with a happy smile, "Amazing" he said with a twinkle in his eye.

"I'm seriously starting to think there's something wrong with you two," Remus said as he shook his head.

"I don't know what made you think that" Sirius said with an innocent smile that didn't hide the mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Perhaps it's our lush, immense beauty," I said, also smiling at the studious man.

"Hmm, yeah, maybe that's it" Sirius nodded.

"Sigh, what was the universe thinking putting the two of you together?" Remus asked no one in particular.

"That the world needed more fun?" Sirius offered.

"And this fun involves teasing your mother?" the werewolf asked Sirius dryly.

"Obvious" and he replied promptly with firmness.

"I don't even know why I try," Remus said.

He then shook his head and decided to change the subject, for the sake of his sanity.

"But your oddities aside, do you have any idea how you're going to renovate this house?" he asked.

"Well, I was thinking of some red and gold wallpaper and carpeting," Sirius said, scratching his beard in thought.

"Ugh, damn Gryffindor," I said with an eye roll.

And listening to me, Sirius turned to me with a frown, "Oh, do you have a problem with my choice of colors?" he asked.

"Oh no, no problem...of course, other than the fact that anyone who enters this house will have their eyes burned out" I said in a mocking tone.

"What are you implying?" the dog animagus asked me with narrowed eyes.

"Nothing" I said dryly, "It's just that I think this choice of colors would be more appropriate in, I don't know, in the house of a gold-obsessed blind Santa."

"You say that because you don't have good taste in decorations, you black feathered chicken project" Sirius snapped.

"If you're referring to a crow, it's one of the coolest creatures ever," I said, "And speaking of creatures, it's funny to think that Gryffindors are the same as the lions that represent their house... Reckless, arrogant, and stinking!"

"Gasp... You didn't say that!" Sirius said as he looked at me a shocked look on his face.

"Yes I said" I nodded with a satisfied and challenging look.

"You...You...You nerd seagull!" Sirius exclaimed, pointing at me.

"You mangy dog" I snapped back.

"Snotty brat!"

"Flea Factory!"

"Troll Head"

"Breath of Nundu"

"Bookworm"

"Dog Butt Sniffer"

"Goblin Bitch"

"Furry!"

"I don't even know what this is!"

"And yet you are one!"

And while the two of us traded insults, Remus watched with a blank stare.

"Sigh... Merlin have mercy on us all" he said, shaking his head in exasperation, but you could see an amused smile on his face.

-Diagon Alley – Next Day-

Today my friends and I decided to meet in Diagon Alley for an afternoon of relaxation and fun, and after some shopping and visiting some of the shops in the alley, we headed to Florean Fortescue' Ice Cream Parlor.

"Hmm, I've never tried that flavor of ice cream before" Stephen commented, looking curiously at his bright pink ice cream with bits of what looked like caramel.

"Oh, that's because this is a new flavor we've created" Florean Fortescue, the owner of the ice cream parlor who was serving our orders, said with a smile.

"Oh really?" Stephen said, looking with renewed interest at his ice cream, before shrugging and licking it off, nodding satisfied at the taste.

"Yes, it's made with the blood and saliva of Lizard Maschile and spicy blackberries, with pieces of caramel dipped in Leprechaun sweat." Mr. Fortescue said, naming each ingredient as he held up his fingers.

Hearing him, Stephen stopped midway to take another lick of his ice cream.

He then pushed the ice cream away, looking at it with a queasy, sick look.

"So what do you think of this ice cream? We call it Lucky Secretion"

"Oh... Is... amazing" Stephen said with his face turning a sickly shade of green, with him holding back the urge to throw up.

"Wonderful!" Mr. Fortescue said happily, before placing a hand on Stephen's shoulder, "As you were the first customer to try and review this flavor, please know that you will receive a free box of it as a gift."

"Why?" Stephen asked, turning to him with a defeated look.

But instead of answering him, Mr. Fortescue only patted him on the shoulder before going to serve his other customers.

Realizing that he was left without an answer, Stephen turned back to looking at his ice cream with a look of disgust and repulsion.

He then looked at all of us, who were happily eating our ice creams, before looking back at his Lucky Secretion.

"Anyone want to change ice cream?" he asked with a sad look, as if he was pleading.

"No"

"Thanks, but I'm happy with mine"

"I'm allergic to Leprechaun sweat"

"Sorry buddy, but there are things I wouldn't do even with a wand pointed at me."

And realizing that he would have to continue with his ice cream that mixed all kinds of bodily fluids of a living being, Stephen banged his head on the table.

"Ugh, I shouldn't have asked him to give me any flavor of ice cream" Stephen said to himself.

"Look on the bright side" Anthony said to him, getting our friend's attention.

"And what would that bright side be?" he asked.

"Huh? I said look on the bright side, I didn't say there was one." Anthony shrugged, and Stephen groaned, looking back down.

And while this whole scene was going on I was calmly eating my vanilla orange ice cream.

But as I ate my ice cream, I felt two familiar magics nearby, and those magical signatures belonged to the twins.

Sensing that the twins were in Diagon Alley as well, I got up to go over to them, wanting to have a little chat with my two prankster friends.

"Where are you going Ethan?" Lisa asked me.

"Hey, I saw the twins over there, so I'm going to go say hello to them," I said, and she winked.

"Oh, in that case tell them I said hi, and that I'm still going to get back at them for that frog prank" she said, a rather creepy smile on her face.

"Err... Okay..." I said slowly, pulling away from my friend who exuded an evil aura.

And without waiting for her to say anything else, I left, heading in the direction I was feeling the twins.

After walking a bit, I came across one of the alley's apothecary that sold cheap items, and coming out of it were the twins.

"Hey Fred, hey George" I greeted them, approaching them.

""Hey Ethan"" they said in unison as they turned to me.

"So, you two came here to replenish your stock of ingredients?" I asked, looking at the bag of items they were carrying.

"Yes, we're almost out of stock" Fred said.

"But didn't I give you a chest full of potion ingredients for Christmas?" I asked.

"Well, yes..." George started to say, "But we are creating new items, and we end up wasting a lot of ingredients doing tests"

"And we also use the rest of the ingredients making prank items to replenish our supply" Fred finished.

"Oh, I see," I said scratching my chin, "And all these items you created are for your future prank shop, right?"

"Some of them yes." Fred nodded.

I then continued to stare at them for a few seconds, both of them looking at each other confused by my analytical gaze.

"Tell me boys, what do you think about having an investor in this project of yours?" I asked, and that immediately got both of their attention.

""An investor?"" they asked, approaching me.

"Yes, an investor and a business partner," I said, with a business smile that would make the greediest goblin proud.

And noticing my smile the twins looked at each other before letting small smiles appear on their faces.

""We are interested in your offer"" they said.

End.
