-Saturday-

Today is the day I'm going to visit the twins at their house, and I'm currently watching a table tennis championship with my dad while my mom was cooking in the kitchen, and before you ask, I don't have the slightest idea why we are watching a table tennis championship.

*Ding! Dong!*

As I stared in amazement at the feint the Chinese player did, I heard the bell ring.

"Boys, can you answer the door?" my mother yelled from the kitchen.

'Be one with the environment... Hold your breath and relax' my dad started to quote in his mind, only to receive a wooden spoon on his head courtesy of my mom.

'Ow! Why always a wooden spoon? And why didn't you do the same with Ethan?' my father questioned, not daring to say it out loud. He then looked to the side only to see that I was nowhere, 'Tsk... Damn magic'

My dad then got up to answer the door, and I, who was under a Disillusionment Charm, chuckled to see him walk muttering to the door while rubbing your head.

'Ahh, the blessings of magic' I thought, letting out a satisfied sigh, 'Sometimes I'm really impressed with mys— *Pah!* Ouch!'

'What the hell was that?' I questioned myself, turning to see what hit me only to see another wooden spoon, 'How the hell did she know where I was? And why didn't my senses warn me?' and as if it was a sign, I felt inside me that my magic and my instincts were saying 'She's your mother, what do you want us to do?'

"Women are scary," I muttered, canceling the Disillusionment Charm.

"Ethan, it's for you!" my father screamed, and using my senses I felt some familiar magical signatures, and I then headed towards the door with my mother coming out of the kitchen to see who it was.

"Hi Mr. Weasley" I greeted Mr Weasley who was the one at the door waiting for me, "And hi Gred and Forge" I said to the twins who were behind their father.

""Hey Ethan"" the twins greeted back.

"Hi Ethan, your dad told me you're ready to go," Mr. Weasley said, and I nodded.

"Yeah, I just need to get my bag from my room," I said, and felt my mom appear beside my dad.

"Hello Mr. Weasley, I'm Sarah Night, Ethan's mother" my mother greeted him with a smile, reaching for him.

"Oh, where are my manners! I'm Arthur Weasley, the parents of these two here" Mr. Weasley said shaking my mother's hand, realizing he hadn't introduced himself to my parents.

My mom then looked at my dad out of the corner of his eye, who looked at her confused before the realization hit him.

"Hehe, looks like I forgot to introduce myself too" my dad said rubbing the back of his neck embarrassed. He then extended his hand to Mr. Weasley.

"I'm Joshua Night, Ethan's amazing, wonderful father," he said, and my mom and I both rolled our eyes at his 'amazing' performance.

Mr. Weasley then shook my father's hand as he looked at him in wonder, something the twins were also doing.

"Mr. Weasley, why don't you come in and wait for me while I go get my things? And in that time I might as well show Fred and George my room," I proposed, and my father who was by my side was quick to agree with me.

"Yes, Mr. Weasley, and I would also love to talk to an adult wizard about his wizarding community," my dad said, with his eyes twinkling like a child who has just received the Playstation she wanted as a gift.

"And I'd also love to meet the parents of my son's friends, as I'd also like to talk about the wizarding world, and it's kind of hard to get that when you only have friends and acquaintances who are also muggles," my mother said with a ironic smile.

"With this invitation from the two of you so I can't refuse," Mr. Weasley said, and then his eyes also began to glisten, "But I'd also like you to tell me about some of your muggle items, like that contraption that's next to your mailbox," he said.

"The lawn mower?" my father asked confused.

"Oh, so that's what he's called," Mr. Weasley said in realization.

"Well, since you two have already found something in common to talk about, I'm going to take the boys upstairs to get my stuff," I said, motioning for the twins to follow.

We then went upstairs to my room, leaving my mother and the two adult men/children to have their conversation downstairs.

"Your parents seem nice" Fred said as soon as we got to my room.

"Yes, they are… just don't let my dad hear it, otherwise he'll end up letting it go to his head" I said smiling.

"Hmm, looks like someone we know," George commented, and I felt his gaze on me.

"Haha" I laughed dryly.

I then went to the desk beside my bed and picked up my shrunken suitcase that was attached to a drawstring. I then tied this cord around my neck and tucked the suitcase into my robes.

"Hmm, that's a good way to store your suitcase, maybe I'll do the same with mine" George said with a hand on his chin thoughtfully.

"Me too" Fred said.

"How unoriginal," I said dryly, earning two dry laughs from the twins.

The twins then looked around at my room, inspecting every detail.

"Well, here is cool and interesting, but I thought there would be more..." Fred started.

"More bodies in chains?"

"I was going to say books, but bodies in chains too"

"I keep almost all my books in the library in my suitcase, and why did you think I would have bodies chained in my room?" I questioned them, looking at them strangely, and in return they just stared at me with blank faces before turning and walking out of my room.

'Huh?'

-The Burrow-

After telling my parents to come get me at the end of the day, I followed the twins and Mr. Weasley to his pale blue Ford Angila. In the car we spent some time on the road talking, with Mr. Weasley asking me about muggle things he saw on the way.

After a few minutes, we finally arrived at the Weasleys' house, which was located on the outskirts of Ottery St Catchpole in Devon.

The Burrow was weirder and quirkier than I'd expected, but it still felt amazing the way it managed to hold on, even though it looked like it could fall at any moment.

"Impressive, right?" Fred asked with his hand on my shoulder, and I could only nod in amazement, much to Mr. Weasley's surprise.

"What spells were used to keep the house steady? Were the rooms added randomly or was it planned? Can you still add more floors?" I then started with my flood of questions, which only stopped when the twins covered my mouth and dragged me into the house, leaving behind a Mr. Weasley who had an amused look on his face.

"Hello Ethan dear, nice to see you again, how are you?" the first person to greet me as I entered the house was obviously Mrs. Weasley, who greeted me with a kind smile and a hug that only a mother could give.

"Hello Mrs. Weasley, I'm fine," I replied with a smile on my face.

"That's good," Mrs. Weasley said, she then pointed to one of the windows overlooking the garden, "Harry and Ronald are over in the back garden, why don't you go play with them while I make lunch?" she offered, and before I could even respond the twins who were behind me started pushing me towards the door.

"Bye Mrs. Weasley," I said, waving at her, who happily waved back.

""Bye mom"" the twins said too.

'Sigh... Children' she thought, shaking her head with an amused smile on her face.

End.

(End AN: Having a puppy is a lot of work.

As I said before, I'm re-reading the Harry Potter books, and I have to say I find what they did to Ron in the movies to be offensive.

There are few cases where a live-action is better than the original work, and even though I really like the movies, I still think the books are much better.

Which sagas have you read that you think the books/comics/manga are better than the movies/series/animes?)
