Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

"This part of here is a little difficult…" I muttered in concentration, bending over a table, working on one of my most complex and exciting projects yet.

I was currently in the Room of Requirement, working on finishing my own Marauder's Map, which I had been creating for four weeks without interruption. I even left some of my other workouts aside just to finish this project.

"Now I just need to put this here, modify that, make this part smoother, and... There! I finally got it! I've created an improved version of Marauder's Map!" I exclaimed excitedly, holding in my hand a detailed bracelet of dark blue leather and steel, with a small opaque black stone in the center.

"This is my masterpiece..." I said, looking in wonder and satisfaction at the simple yet beautiful accessory in my hand.

I chose the map design to be a bracelet because it's more practical and affordable and it looks cool. And that said, right now I felt like a presenter in a TV commercial.

Anyway... The bracelet is made from the skin of a Red-bellied Dutch Black Dragon, which according to the books, has a tough, malleable skin which, when used to make items with the leather, can provide the item with magical resistance, comfort, and ease of enchanting him.

The steel in the bracelet is common steel cast from the same silver used to make the sickles, which can conduct magic. And the black stone is an Obsidian Star, a stone, or gem depending on what you want to call it, which conducts and stores magic, as well as being great for engraving runes.

And these three items in particular, were easy to find, but rather difficult to get. But with the help of the goblins, who for a small price placed orders for purchases and deliveries, I managed to acquire them.

Dragon leather is expensive, but it is sold in many high-end wizarding stores, particularly those that sell dueling clothing or accessories, as dragon leather is the main item used for armor and holsters.

The sickles silver were also easy to get, but because they are enchanted by the magic of globins like the galleon and the knut, it is very resistant to fire and almost impossible to melt with common fire, so I had to ask the goblins for a bottle with the steel and silver already fused and melted.

The Star Obsidian is an easily found magic item, as it is one of the common items used in creating runes, along with other types of stones and jewelry.

The bracelet also has a total of 19 different enchantments and spells, and more than 38 runes, which together served to transform this simple bracelet into a fucking map, with many functions and details.

The bracelet could only be activated by a specific code, and only those who had the magic signature memorized by the central stone would be recognized by speaking the code, and only then would the stone authorize the activation of the map.

I've done this so that it won't be used by anyone who knows the password.

The bracelet didn't specifically need the activation code to open the map, but the magic of the person who wears it. However, since almost no one knows how to pass magic through the body in a controlled manner, they cannot, like me, put magic on the bracelet to activate it. And that's where the activation phrase comes in, as it serves to make the bracelet and the center stone mainly, 'pull' some of the magic out of whoever is using it, thus allowing it to be unlocked.

This is why it is not just anyone who can wear and activate the bracelet, but only those recognized by me, who am the 'Administrator'. I kind of created the bracelets and made them recognize me first, so I need to say a code to allow other people to use it.

Another thing about the bracelet is that it doesn't turn into a map, but rather allows a map to be played in other objects and places. Like for example, if I activate the bracelet, and touch the central stone to some scroll or table, the map of Hogwarts will appear in those places.

And oddly enough this was done using a simple fourth year spell.

Maps have a 'search' function, in which we can look for places, objects, or people, just saying their name. And we can still name these places and objects ourselves. For example: If I want to name Myrtle's bathroom 'Entrance to the Chamber of Secrets' I just need to speak for the map.

Objects work differently, as I have to put a spell on this object in advance, so the map would work as a tracker.

The castle has a ward of intentions and lethal magic, which means that the bracelet also has that function, and because of that, whenever someone with bad intentions is in the castle or in the grounds, or is using some spell considered lethal or dark inside it, the stone of the bracelet will shine in red or purple, alerting the wearer, and also leaving the name of the one the castle recognized as the caster of the spell in red.

The bracelet also has the function of adding more places to your file. So I can create a map of my house or even the entire neighborhood where I live, and add it to the bracelet, without having to delete the Hogwarts map.

But this function has its pros and cons. The pros are that to scan an area, this area doesn't need to have a ward like Hogwarts, as I managed to get around that detail, so I can create a map from anywhere. But this fact is also a con since these places do not have wards, the bracelet and the map will have less functions, that were only possible thanks to the wards. Some of these wards can be replaced with spells, but they still wouldn't have the same practicality as the wards.

And those aren't the only functions of the bracelet, it has a few more simple things. Some of these simple functions are even based on the 'futuristic' technology that I saw in movies from my other life, and some of these functions are actually based on technology from my past life.

I also got some inspiration from some fanfics I read in my other life.

So thanks, futuristic movies and fanfics, for being my inspiration for creating this bracelet.

"Now I just need to do the finishing touches, and then I'll be ready to show the twins," I said, pulling a few more items out of my bag.

__________________________________________________________________________

After I finished finalizing the final map details, I left the Room of Requirement and started looking for the twins. And when I turned around the bend in one of the fifth-floor hallways, I saw them walking and whispering to each other, giggling evilly every now and then.

"Hey!" I called, causing them to stop their steps and turn to me.

I then ran up to them, and when I stopped in front of them, I greeted them, starting with the twin on the right and then the twin on the left.

"Hello George"

"Hello Ethan"

"Hello Fred"

"Hello Ethan"

The twins then turned to each other.

"Hello George"

"Hello Fred"

And I rolled my eyes at that, an amused little smile on my face. And just as they finished greeting each other, George turned to me again.

"I have a question... How do you always know who's who?" he asked curiously, since whenever we are together i call them by their right names, something not even his own mother can sometimes do.

"I just know…Call it the sixth sense" I kind of lied as I shrugged my shoulders, "But that aside, I have something fucking awesome and cool to show you guys!" I said excitedly.

"Oh! And what would it be..."

"...This thing?"

"Not here. Let's go somewhere more private," I said, looking at the portraits around us, which pretended not to be listening to our conversation. And then after I said that, I proceeded to lead the two curious redheads down the halls to one of the abandoned classrooms.

Arriving in the living room, closing the door, and finishing throwing up some protections, which the twins already knew I could do, I turned to them, and without waiting for them to ask any questions, I reached into my bag and inside it I pulled out the same bracelet I was seeing earlier in the Room of Requirement.

"I would like to introduce you to my masterpiece, my creation, my most amazing project... My improved and updated version of Marauder's Map... The Musketeers' Map, or as I like to call it... ATLAS! " I said dramatically, placing the bracelet in front of the twins.

End.
