Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

As soon as we arrived in the common room, my classmates started bombarding me with questions. But since I didn't feel like answering, or being stared at by Corner, I said I was tired from practice and was going to take a little nap.

After that, I then went upstairs to my room, noticing the lack of Nyx who was probably exploring the castle, hunting some helpless rat or planning world domination.

Seeing that I had the rest of the afternoon free, I went to my trunk that was at the foot of my bed.

I opened my trunk and carefully stored my broom in one of the compartments. I then moved on to the next compartment, which had some herbs and fungi, and a few other ingredients, with most being picked up by myself in the Forbidden Forest. There were magical flowers that I planned to give my mom; Fangs of an Acromantula I found dead when I went exploring the forest for the second time; Fairy Dust which unfortunately didn't allow us to fly if we threw it at us while we were having happy thoughts, but at least it still functioned as decoration and I planned to show it to Cele; and the two most precious items I have, which are the hair of the little foal unicorn and the strands of hair from the tail of the Thestral that I have known.

Even though I spent little time in the forest, I still got a lot of good items and ingredients. And by the end of the year I planned to explore much of the forest to get even more.

And maybe I'll even go on a crusade to annihilate a nest of acromantulas.

I may like animals and magical beings, but there are some of them that, like some humans, deserve nothing less than extinction.

Changing my trunk compartment, I reached my private library. I then picked up a book titled Fire Spells, Hexes and Jinxes which as the title says, are spells based on the fire element. I also have other books with spells from other elements, but for now I wanted to focus on fire, which is the one that's giving me the biggest problem to use, at least with a wand.

Closing my trunk again, I went to my bed and sat down comfortably, resolving to read until dinnertime.

Great Hall - Dinner

I was quietly eating dinner in the Great Hall, but every now and then I could feel my left eye twitching. My senses allowed me to have very high hearing, and in order not to irritate my ears I always ignored people talking and gossiping, and usually I could. But today was more difficult, almost impossible, mainly because the subject of conversations and rumors this time was me.

"Did you hear? One of Ravenclaw's firts years joined it to the Quidditch team."

"Really? But I thought the only one who got it was Potter."

"Yeah, me too. But my sister's friend's cousin which is paired in potions with my sister said another first year did it."

"Amazing, who is this first year?"

"I don't know, but I think his name is Edumb Mitch"

*Crack!*

"Eh...Ethan...I think your cup broke..." Anthony said to me, pointing to the cup in my hand that was now crumpled and cracked, spilling juice on the table.

"I know…" I said slowly. I then sighed and loosened my grip on the cup, and released a simple {Reparo} and {Scourgify} which was enough to straighten the goblet and clean up the mess I made.

"I still can't believe you made the Quidditch team" Terry said, "Don't get me wrong, I knew you could make the team, but I didn't expect it to happen so soon."

"Neither do I" Anthony said, giving his own opinion, "But after seeing you play, I can understand why you're on the team."

"Well, what can I do...I'm awesome," I said, and then dodged a slap that was coming my way.

"Sigh. I think this is going to be one more thing for you to brag about," Terry said, rolling his eyes.

"I don't know what you're talking about…" I said looking away.

"Uhum" Terry said unconvinced.

As I chatted with the boys, a trio of second years Puffs passed whispered behind us, but I could still hear them.

"I heard Ravenclaw's new player is a girl" Random Puff 1 commented to his friends. And just hearing that, I wanted to get up and start bewitching whoever started these rumors.

"Really? I thought it was a boy" Random Puff 2 said surprised.

"No, it's a girl. My sister heard from her friend that heard from her cousin who was watching the tests that the new player is a girl, and that she is very good at playing" Random Puff 1 said nodding his head.

"Amazing" Random Puff 2 said, glancing at the Ravenclaw table.

"Soo... Is she hot?" Random puff 3 that was quiet from the start said.

"From what I hear, she's really hot" Random Puff 1 replied.

*Crack!*

"Ethan, your c—"

"I know, Anthony. I know..."

My days at Hogwarts since I joined the Ravenclaw Quidditch team have been relatively normal, that is, if you don't count on the fact that I was looked over by the other students whenever I walked down the hall.

Some looked at me in awe. Others with doubt. And there were even those who looked at me with resentment, more specifically, some of my classmates from the same year. In first year Slytherin there's Malfoy, who doesn't like me because I'm a muggleborn, and apparently he still hasn't figured out that I'm the one who bewitched him on the train ride, because if he knew he would have tried to confront me sooner. In Hufflepuff there's Zacharias Smith, who's just a snobby kid with a big ego. At Ravenclaw there's obviously Corner, who thinks he's my arch-rival or something. And in Gryffindor there was Weasley who always looked at me with envy, as he apparently tried to try out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team but he ended up embarrassing himself, angrily that I got something he didn't. .. Idiot.

But I didn't just have people thinking my entry into the team was bad. There were some colleagues of mine who liked it and found it amazing, with the main ones being from my group of friends. The twins even brought a Honeydukes box of candy for me to congratulate me, while promising they wouldn't focus on me when we played against each other.

It even looks like I'm going to believe them...

I also sent a letter to my parents telling them about this news, and I think this was the first time in my two lives that a letter managed to make me blush with embarrassment at the compliments and congratulations they wrote.

Oh... And my mom also sent some of her wonderful cookies as a congratulations. She even sent another little package of some for me to share with my friends, and they liked it so much that I even think they started a worship service for my mom's cookies...

Strangers...

End.

(End AN: Hey! Here are the chapters from this weekend!

This weekend, with this unbearable heat, was very boring and tedious for me. I don't understand how people can say that heat is better than cold. This is sacrilege!

As I continued with my story, I realized that I never paid much attention to my characters' birthdays, and so I decided to pay more attention to that, since the birthday is important, right?

I'm also giving creating birthdays to OCs and canon characters who never had their birth date spoken. It may not be that important, but in the future, who knows, maybe I can do something?)
