Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After putting away the two-way mirror I looked at the golden couple in front of me, feeling immensely satisfied.

And I wasn't satisfied because I had won the bet with the twins, in fact my satisfaction came from the fact that I, acting as the cupid matchmaker, managed to bring the two together.

And as a fan of the Harry Potter franchise, I, like many other fans, felt that Harry and Hermione should have ended up together at the end of the books and films.

I had nothing against Ron or Ginny, but I always found their relationship with Harry and Hermione a bit forced and strange.

But now I had changed that, and seeing how happy and joyful the new couple were I felt it was worth it.

And just like Sirius had said, they would take good care of each other, and I knew that would be something very important for the future, when the whole war started.

But putting those thoughts aside I started to say, "You know, when I talked to you about asking each other to the ball I wasn't expecting you to start dating" and I said this looking specifically at Harry.

"Oh, I only intended to ask Hermione to the ball, but I kind of got carried away and one thing led to another," Harry said, scratching the back of his head with an embarrassed look.

"I intended to ask Harry too, and I even thought about talking about my feelings to him, but he was quicker than me." Hermione revealed, and Harry turned to her with slightly widened eyes.

"Really?" he asked in surprise, and Hermione nodded slightly, her cheeks flushed.

And knowing this made Harry immensely happy, and the two then looked at each other with smiles on their faces and affectionate eyes.

And I didn't miss their short interaction, and seeing this I shook my head with a wry smile.

"Well, I think it's time for us to leave" I said, getting everyone's attention.

"Huh? Why?" Ron asked.

"Because we already congratulated them, and now we should give the two lovebirds some privacy" I said, looking at the red-haired boy to see if he got the hint.

"Oh" he nodded.

"In that case I would like to congratulate you again" George said, before a playful smile appeared on his face, "And I also wanted to tell you that I am awaiting my invitation to your wedding."

"Me too, and know that my favorite cake flavor is orange" Fred said.

And Ron nodded, looking at his best friends with a smile, happy for them, "And don't forget about me. I'm waiting for you to ask me to be the best man at your wedding."

And listening to them, Harry and Hermione blushed, murmuring that they had only just started dating and that a wedding was still a long way off.

"But well, since we've said everything there is to say, we're leaving" I said.

"Yes, we don't want to keep disturbing your moment" Fred smiled mischievously.

And after Fred said that, the four of us turned to leave, with me already thinking about the money I would get from the twins.

"Actually we still need to resolve the issue of you guys spying on us" Hermione said, making us all freeze.

And when we turned to her we saw that she was smiling dangerously at us, "And you know, I really needed some training dummies to test the spells that Professor Moody taught us" she started to reach for her wand.

"Hehe, let's calm down Hermione..." Fred laughed nervously, taking a step back, "This is all just a misunderstanding"

"That's right. We weren't spying. We happened to be passing by and saw you, and so we stopped to see what you were doing just out of curiosity" George said, sweating nervously.

But Hermione obviously didn't believe his explanation, or maybe she just didn't care.

"Err, Harry mate..." Ron looked to his best friend for help.

But Harry did nothing, as he knew they deserved some punishment for spying on them, and besides, he was finding an angry and domineering Hermione strangely attractive.

So like a good boyfriend he just stood behind Hermione looking at the boys with an apologetic look, and the betrayed and desperate look that appeared on Ron's face was almost comical.

"Hermione, you wouldn't hurt a housemate, right?" George said, with a nervous smile.

However, the answer to his question was a spell cast by Hermione, which narrowly missed him.

And looking at the ground where the spell had hit the three Weasley boys could see the charred grass smoking, and they realized that yes, Hermione would hurt a housemate.

Ron, Fred and George then looked at each other, having a silent conversation with their eyes, and after a nod, Fred turned to Hermione.

"It was Ethan who planned everything!" he exclaimed, in one last attempt to escape Hermione's punishment.

"Yes! He's the one who convinced us to spy on you!" George nodded.

"Yes, exactly! Everything is Ethan's fau—" Ron began to say in an accusatory tone, looking and pointing to his left.

However, the red-haired boy blinked in confusion as soon as he realized that there was no one beside him.

"Huh? Where's Ethan?" he asked.

And everyone then looked at the empty space between Ron and George, which was where I was a few seconds ago, finally noticing my absence.

And all five Gryffindors had confused expressions on their faces, until they looked back and could see me running towards the castle.

"Sorry, but I'm late for my yoga class!" I looked back as I shouted at them, before smiling at Harry and Hermione, "And congratulations you two again!"

And with that I turned around and continued running towards the castle, quickly disappearing from everyone's sight, leaving behind three confused Weasleys, an angry Hermione, and an amused Harry.

...

...

...

...

"Hmm, I didn't know Hogwarts had yoga classes" Ron commented, breaking the silence.

And the other four people who were still on the Quidditch pitch looked at him with blank expressions.

However, he didn't have time to ask why everyone was looking at him like that, as the tip of Hermione's wand began to glow as she returned to facing them with a threatening look.

And for the rest of the afternoon until evening all Hogwarts residents could see a trio of red-haired boys running and screaming in panic as they were chased by a girl with thick brown hair who was casting several spells at them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The news that Harry and Hermione were dating spread through the castle like wildfire, and people's reactions were mixed.

Some people, mainly the Gryffindors, just shrugged their shoulders as if this was expected, and Ginny, who should have been one of those most affected by the news, just congratulated her friend happily, having already known about their feelings for each other for a long time and having accepted that she would never be Mrs. Potter.

Others expressed surprise or shock upon learning that Boy-Who-Lived was in a relationship, and there were also those who were disappointed, upset or angry, and unfortunately this was the most vocal group.

Many girls were disappointed and sad that Harry now had a girlfriend, and jealous and angry at Hermione for being the lucky girl who would share the fame, wealth and influence of the dark lord's defeater.

And besides them there were also those who felt that Hermione, a muggleborn, was staining the Potter family legacy with her blood from a non-wizarding family.

And it was ironic to think that the Potters had always been a pureblood family with no blood relation to muggles, until James, Harry's father, decided to marry Lily.

And now Harry was doing the same thing by having a romantic relationship with a muggleborn. Like father Like Son.

But well, most of those people upset with Harry's relationship with Hermione saw the studious girl as the main problem, but there was someone in the castle who thought otherwise.

And that someone I'm talking about is Quidditch star and Bulgarian champion, Viktor Krum.

Krum had started to develop an interest in Hermione, seeing that she was different from the other girls who fawned over him, but now she was dating Harry, which angered the professional Quidditch player.

And part of this negative feeling came from the fact that Krum felt that Harry had surpassed him again, just like he did in the first task.

And because of this a feeling of jealousy, rivalry, and competitiveness began to arise in Krum.

And thanks to the Empathy of my Beast Power I could feel these feelings and emotions coming from Krum, and putting 2 and 2 together I could understand what was going on in the Durmstrang champion's head.

However, Harry didn't know what Krum was thinking, and because of that he didn't understand why the Bulgarian boy kept frowning at him whenever he saw him.

And I could have tried to explain the reason for those looks to Harry, but I was having a lot of fun watching the black-haired boy trying to ignore Krum's looks while fidgeting uncomfortably.

'Heh, I'm starting to understand why most girls like to talk and gossip about relationships and romance' I thought, smiling mischievously.

End.
