-Later at night-

It was dark, with only the stars and the moon in the night sky, and at this moment I was standing in front of the edge of the Forbidden Forest, looking out at what could only be described by others as a frightening and dangerous forest.

Dinner time was already over, and all the students were probably in their house common rooms, but I had no intention of joining my classmates in the Ravenclaw common room, as there was something much more interesting for me to do.

"Let's see..." I muttered to myself, touching the stone of my bracelet that glowed blue to a parchment, causing a map of the school to appear on it.

Looking at the map created by ATLAS, I used the search function to go deeper into the part that showed the Forbidden Forest, and after a while I found what I was looking for.

In an isolated part of the forest that normally had no presence of creatures I saw several names and footprints, counting at least 30, with only one of them being recognizable to me, which was Charlie's name.

'Hmm, so those big footprints on the map must be the dragons' I thought, looking at four large pairs of clawed footprints, spaced far apart.

"Well, now I know where to go" I said to myself, putting the parchment in my pocket.

I then pulled out my wand and cast a disillusionment charm on myself, before casting a few other spells to hide my tracks, such as a spell to make my steps smoother and to suppress any scent I had.

The last two spells were mainly so that the dragons wouldn't notice me when I approached them, as they had a strong sense of smell and sensitive ears, and if they reacted to me they could end up alerting the other wizards.

Giving myself one last check I nodded, before entering the Forbidden Forest, heading in the direction that I now knew was the campsite.

'Hmm, it seems quieter than normal here' I thought, not sensing the presence of any creature nearby, neither magical nor normal.

'Maybe the presence of the dragons scared them and that's why they are staying away from this area' I theorized.

I then thought about the unicorns and Thestrals I had befriended, reminding myself that they lived far from this area of the forest and were probably not bothered by the presence of the feral, scaly new residents.

Shaking my head I refocused on why I was here, and with that I continued to walk through the dark, silent forest.

And the deeper I went into the forest, the more my instincts warned me that there was something dangerous ahead. And not only that, as I could sense large and powerful magical signatures nearby, as well as several weaker ones.

And following these magical signatures it didn't take long for me to arrive at the improvised camp where the dragons brought from the Romanian Dragon Sanctuary were.

They were in a clear area of the forest where there were no trees or many leaves, probably to prevent the dragons' flames from setting the forest on fire.

However, I wasn't paying much attention to the details or the wizards who walked around the place hurriedly.

My focus was entirely on the four huge creatures that were tied to the ground by thick iron chains.

'They are amazing!' I thought, looking in awe at the dragons.

Even though I didn't have my knowledge of the canon and didn't know beforehand what their race was, I could still recognize them from the descriptions in the books about magical creatures that I had read.

A Welsh Green, a dragon native to the islands of Great Britain, being mainly seen in Wales, preferring to live in places with high mountains.

She was green, with intense yellow eyes with shades of brown, and her scales mainly covered her chest and back, with her arms and legs being protected by her tough skin.

She was a dragon known for being calm, who didn't like interacting with humans, and hunted small mammals to survive.

She was roaring at the wizards around her, and it was almost a melodious tone, but I could tell that she was irritated by the little beings that were trying to control her.

Beside she was another dragon, a Swedish Short-Snout, which had silvery blue scales and wild blue eyes. She had large claws, and her wings were thin but large, which gave her agility in flight, which was one of the reasons why everyone considered it such a dangerous breed of dragon.

And what was most striking about her were her blue flames, as hot as normal flames, but much more beautiful.

Like the Welsh Green, this was a breed that preferred not to interact with humans, and therefore the Swedish Short-Snout did not have as high a kill count as other breeds.

Talking about these dragons and their tendencies to keep their distance from humans and isolate themselves in the wild makes it seem like they were harmless, but this only applies to these two dragons.

And when compared to the other two that were in the camp and would be used in the tournament, then you could really consider them harmless.

Looking at the other side of the camp, where most of the noises were coming from and where there were more wizards, were two large and dangerous dragons, which were roaring and breathing fire, trying to roast or crush the wizards who were trying to trap them.

Chinese Fireball, or Liondragon, a dragon native to southern China known for its mushroom-shaped balls of flame and its aggressive temperament.

The one here at the camp was large, probably weighing over 3 tons, with smooth scarlet scales, a fringe of golden tips around her elongated snout, and a penetrating gaze that was made even more apparent by her large and protruding golden eyes.

And what made her even more incredible were the balls of flame she shot from her mouth into the sky, as if to show she was angry.

And finally the deadliest of all, which was giving the wizards the most trouble. The Hungarian Horntail.

With a lizard-like appearance, this dragon had large black scales, with large yellow eyes with shades of red, with vertical pupils like those of a feline, emitting a feeling of danger. She had a spiked tail and large wings, and the horns on her head made her even scarier.

She was big, wild, and deadly, with a deafening, shrill roar, and just looking at her I could feel my heart beat faster.

'If these four are just some of the dragon breeds they have in the reserve, then I really have to visit them someday' I thought, feeling again like a child who had just entered the wizarding world.

Leaving the forest I began to walk slowly and silently towards the dragons, still under the disillusionment spell.

Going to the left I began to approach the two less ferocious dragons, seeing that the camp wizards had managed to calm them down, at least partially.

The closer I got to them, the more I could feel their warm aura and powerful magic, but it didn't scare me, it just made me more excited and expectant.

And without them noticing I arrived in front of the blue and green dragons, and seeing them up close I couldn't help but sigh with emotion.

Looking around I could see that most of the wizards were trying to control the Hungarian Horntail, leaving me alone with the two dragons, who were protecting some eggs in a makeshift nest.

Approaching the Swedish Short-Snout I let my magic slowly leak out, feeling it flow through me when I used my Beast Talk, creating a smaller connection to try and communicate with her.

And as soon as my magic was released I could see Swedish Short-Snout raise her head, looking straight ahead at me with narrowed eyes, as if searching for something.

Carefully I raised my hand, bringing it closer to her snout.

And before I even touched the dragon I let my emotions and feelings leak out to her, showing that I meant no harm and that I was a friend.

When I saw her eyes become less cautious I smiled, sensing her feelings of confusion and curiosity.

And feeling that I was in no danger I let my hand fall onto the snout of the beautiful blue dragon in front of me, immediately creating a connection between us.

End.
