Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When the pause ended the two teams returned to their positions on their sides of the field, glaring at each other fiercely, or as fiercely as several teenagers could manage.

On the Ravenclaw side the team members were in mixed emotions, with some tense and some relaxed, and among those who were tense was Roger, who felt as if he were playing in the Quidditch World Cup final against the best team in the world.

'Come on Roger, we have to break this record. This is going to be a great achievement in your future career as a quidditch player' Roger thought, feeling his heart pounding in his chest, 'I'm sure if I break that record in my first season as captain some professional team will want to hire me when I graduate'

'But now is not the time to think about it, I need to concentrate' Roger then shook his head, returning to focus on the match.

Taking a deep breath and getting a serious look, Roger turned to the other team members hovering around him.

"Listen guys, we've talked about this before, but remember, it's not just about scoring goals, we shouldn't let them score either" he said, and then he turned to me, "Ethan, I want you to..."

However, as soon as Roger looked at me he fell silent, as my cheerful and calm look that I had been wearing since the beginning of the match had disappeared, being replaced by a serious and focused look.

I was staring intently at the Gryffindor team, letting all my senses roam free, taking in everything around me.

I then heard Madam Hooch begin the countdown to start the game, and I immediately lowered myself onto my broom to improve my aerodynamics, feeling every muscle in my body stiffen.

With the air rushing past me, with me smelling grass and dirt as well as the smell of water coming from the clouds. I could see everything in front of me perfectly, but my focus was on the quaffle in Madam Hooch's hands.

"THREE!" Madam Hooch spoke in a loud voice, looking at all the players as she mounted her broomstick.

But I was still using my other senses, both physical and magical to sense my surroundings and everyone on the pitch, and hearing a very low, rapid flutter coming from the left above me, about 20 meters away, I narrowed my eyes, knowing it was the snitch.

"TWO!"

And realizing that the Snitch was in a place that anyone could see I gripped the handle of my broom tightly, knowing that I would have to be quick and decisive, as it wouldn't take long for Harry to find the snitch too and catch him.

"ONE!"

'You wanted me to play it serious' I thought, listening to Madam Hooch finish the count, getting ready to throw the quaffle in the air, 'I just hope you don't regret it later'

"GO!"

And that was the signal needed for me to shoot forward like a bullet towards the quaffle that soared high into the sky, leaving behind my team who stared in astonishment at me.

And not a second later I got to the middle of the pitch and caught the quaffle, but I didn't stop for a second, and I continued advancing towards the Gryffindor goals, passing through the entire team of lions who only now started to move.

And in front of the hoops and Wood, I threw the quaffle hard at the center hoop, and the only thing Wood saw was a shadow passing beside him and entering the goal he was defending, with him looking straight ahead without reaction.

And Wood wasn't the only one who stood there without reaction, as everyone on the pitch was completely silent, with no one knowing how to react to my quick attack.

But not caring about that I went back to my position next to my team, who hadn't moved, with everyone looking at me with their mouths open, but my focus was still on the Gryffindor team.

...

...

...

Lee stared at this scene for a few seconds, until he blinked and recovered from his shock.

"And it's a Ravenclaw goal!" Lee shouted, getting up from his seat, and his shout was enough to snap everyone out of their stupor, who started clapping and cheering, surprised and excited after seeing my play.

The Gryffindor team also seemed to recover from their stunned states, and they looked at each other in confusion, wondering what the hell had just happened.

To them, only a speeding figure had passed them, leaving behind a trail of air and a high-pitched sound, like a jet or a racing car cutting through the wind.

And as surprised as his team, flying overhead was Harry, who blinked before looking up at me, noting my intense gaze.

Seeing this, Harry shook his head before letting a small, wry smile spread across his face.

'Well, I asked him to play seriously, so I can't complain' he thought.

Sighing, Harry lifted the handle of his broom, soaring higher into the sky, looking around for the snitch.

And back to the Ravenclaw team, I was still waiting for Wood to throw the quaffle, watching every little move he made from afar, preparing myself to intercept the quaffle.

"Well... That was unexpected" Roger commented, breaking the silence that was between the members of the Ravenclaw team, "I don't know what got into you, but keep playing like that" he said to me, I just looked at him out of the corner of my eye and nodded.

After that, I turned around again, noticing the slight twitch in Wood's right forearm, which was holding the quaffle, and I immediately braced myself.

And just as I predicted, Wood threw the quaffle to Angelina, and I charged forward, with everyone noticing. However, instead of going towards her or the quaffle I went towards Katie, as I had noticed that Angelina had closed her hand into a fist, and the slight movements of her arm indicated that she was going to punch the quaffle, and the only person she could throw it to was Katie.

When I passed the middle of the field the Quaffle reached Angelina, and unsurprisingly she hit it to Katie, but surprising everyone I was already there to intercept it..

Grabbing the quaffle and leaving behind Katie who still had her hands outstretched, I bolted for the Gryffindor hoops.

As I advanced I felt the bludgers coming towards me, but they passed away from me, not being able to hit me thanks to my speed.

Stopping in front of the Gryffindor hoops, I threw the quaffle up, pulling my fist back, and when the quaffle started to fall I punched it, and with a boom the quaffle went like a meteor towards the hoop that Wood was defending.

Wood seeing this quickly raised his hands in panic to try to catch the quaffle, only the strength and speed of the quaffle almost knocked Wood off his broom, passing through his hand and entering the hoop, meaning that it was another 10 points for Ravenclaw.

Wood spun wildly on his broom, but after a few tries he managed to keep his ground, hovering in front of the left hoop while grimacing in pain.

Raising his other hand to his right shoulder, Wood massaged it, frowning as he realized that reaching for the quaffle nearly dislocated his shoulder.

And when the realization of what that meant hit him, he slowly turned to me, looking a little scared, but I was already heading back to my side of the field.

"Hey Oliver, are you okay?" Alicia asked her captain, seeing that he was standing there looking straight ahead.

"Huh? Oh...well...yeah, I'm fine" Wood said, but Alicia's look showed that she didn't believe him.

But ignoring his teammate's glare, Wood glanced back at me before looking down at his right hand, noticing that it was a little bruised and sore.

'How can he have so much strength?' he thought frowning, 'This is humanly impossible'

And unaware of Wood's thoughts, I returned to my position, using my senses and noticing that the snitch was now hidden beneath the north stands.

'Harry and Cho are far from the snitch, so that means I'll still be able to score more goals before one of them catches him' I thought.

-Back to the Visitors' Stands-

"I've never seen Ethan play like that before," Professor McGonagall commented in awe.

'Ethan?' Sirius wondered, never having heard Professor McGonagall call a student by name before.

"Yes, I may not have been here very long, but in the matches I watched, he played more calmly, sometimes even jokingly" Remus said, rubbing his chin, "And I have to say, he must have a lot of strength in his arms. to throw the quaffle like that"

Hearing this Sirius chuckled nervously, "Yeah, he looks pretty strong," he said, holding his arm and remembering the day he challenged me to an arm wrestling match.

This is a painful and humiliating memory for him, which he planned not to tell anyone, but he knew it was probably pointless since Nick, Ted, and Tonks were watching the challenge, and they obviously won't pass up the chance to mock Sirius for losing to a kid.

'I pity anyone who tries to get into a fight with him' the dog man thought.

End.

(End AN: I thought that writing about Quidditch matches would be too boring for me, but I'm actually really enjoying writing these parts.)
