Yeah! Here's the new chapter!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-November 7th – Saturday-

Today will take place the long-awaited match between Gryffindor and Slytherin, which is also the first match of the Quidditch season of this school year.

The atmosphere between the two houses is tense, and compared to last year, the pressure on Gryffindor is greater as all Slytherin players received as a gift a 2001 Nimbus from Mr. Malfoy.

I say gift, but we all know that the brooms were actually a bribe to let Draco join the team, not that he doesn't have Quidditch talent.

Many might think that Draco is just an arrogant and spoiled kid, but if you pay attention you can see that he is also very smart.

I'm not worried about Harry, even though I know he's probably going to be attacked by the bludger under Dobby's spell.

I, as a friend of the twins, am going to watch the match, and also because Terry, Anthony and Stephen want to see the match and they obviously won't leave me out.

Being in the match, I'm obviously not going to let Dobby hurt Harry, and without Harry getting hurt, Lockhart won't be able to disappear his arm bones either.

Though if Lockhart did that, I'd have more evidence of his incompetence.

But then I would have to choose between embarrassing Lockhart or not letting a friend get hurt... A very hard choice...

"Hey Ethan, do you want to place a bet?" Michael asked me.

We were already in the stands waiting for the match to start, with all of us warmed up because the weather was stormy and with a big wind.

"A bet? Is it about the match?" I asked back.

"Yes, I want to bet on which team will win. I think it will be Slytherin," he said confidently.

"Don't you remember that you made the same bet last year... and that you lost?" Terry asked Michael.

"This time I'm sure I'm going to win" when Michael said that, my friends started looking at him strangely, "What are you looking at?"

"Are you sure you're not a Slytherin in disguise?" Lisa asked.

"A snake in raven clothes" Anthony said.

"I don't want to hear it from you, you badger" Michael said with narrowed eyes.

"Well, back to the betting thing, I'll take it" I said, "And just like last year's match Harry will get Snitch and Gryffindor will win"

As soon as I finished talking, Michael started staring into space as if he was having a flashback. He then shook his head and started to look at me carefully.

"What? Are you scared?" I provoked him.

"Me? Scared? Hah! As if" he said, and then held out his hand to me, "If I win you'll have to do my homework for a week."

"Heh, and if I win you'll have to do Anthony's homework for a week," I said, shaking his hand.

"Why Anthony's homework?" Sue asked me.

"Because he's always the one with the most homework to do, and my homework is impeccable, and I don't want Michael to ruin my perfect grades." When I finished speaking, Terry and Michael both looked at me with contempt, completely different from Anthony, who looked at me like I was a deity.

"Is everyone listening to me? Perfect" catching the attention of everyone in the pitch, we heard Lee's voice echo through the speakers, "Welcome everyone to our first match of the 92-93 school year!"

With that line from Lee all the students started clapping and cheering.

"And for our debut match, we will have a clash between the teams of the two rival Hogwarts houses... Gryffindor versus Slytherin!"

"Let's go Gryffindor!"

"Let's destroy these stupid lions!"

"Today we will have snake meat for dinner, hahahaha!"

The supporters of both Slytherin and Gryffindor started cheering for their respective houses.

"Is it just me or are they more excited than they were last year?" Anthony asked.

"II don't see much difference in the Gryffindor crowd, to me they were always excited like that, but now I think the Slytherin who are… a little more happy than usual" Alysson, who was sitting in the back seats with her friends, said.

"Probably knowing that every player on the team has a Nimbus 2001 has boosted their morale," Michael said. He then turned to me curiously, "Aren't you worried about Ravenclaw versus Slytherin? They have the best and fastest brooms on the market."

"It's not the broom that decides the winner of the match, it's the player, and even then I'm not worried about their Nimbus 2001 as I also have a Nimbus 2001" I said with a shrug.

"""Do you have a Nimbus 2001?!""" the boys exclaimed in surprise.

"Hmm, that was the same reaction from the Ravenclaw team when I showed them the broom at practice," I commented.

"But what happened to your Nimbus 2000?" Anthony asked.

"I still have it, it's just that I kept it with my other brooms," I replied.

"Other brooms?"

"Yes, I'm collecting brooms as a hobby," I said.

"Cool" Stephen said.

"Wait, nobody's going to ask how Ethan managed to buy a 2001 Nimbus? Like, they're really expensive!" Michael exclaimed.

"True, we never ask how you manage to buy these expensive things... Are you some kind of noble in the muggle world?" Terry asked.

"You saying that like that makes me sound like Malfoy" I said with disgust, "And no, I'm not from a noble family, at least as far as I know. My family just happened to have money, simple" I shrugged my shoulders.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Yeah, now you look like a Malfoy" Terry commented with a blank face.

"You only say that because I look more like a pureblood than you do," I snapped, and Terry opened his mouth to protest, but he thought for a moment and then closed his mouth again.

'Is this something good or bad?' Terry wondered.

"Boys... You know you missed both teams' presentations, right?" Padma, who had just come from the Gryffindor stands said.

We then turned around and saw that we really missed the teams presentation, and that now both teams were in formation for the start of the match.

"Err... We don't miss much, right?" Stephen asked.

"Nah, you just missed the little Gryffindor fireworks show and the Slytherin smoke show and chanting performance," Sue said dryly.

...

...

...

"Oh, so it was nothing important," I said, and the boys nodded in agreement.

''''Ugh, boys''''

"Look, the match is about to begin!" exclaimed Morag, and that was enough to make us all look at the players in the stormy sky.

As Morag said, Madam Hooch blew her whistle and that started the game, which also caused both teams to speed up with their brooms.

The match was proceeding smoothly, with no sign of the bludger being altered, which gave me time to scan the pitch for any sign of Dobby.

'Damn, how can an elf hide so well?' I pondered, not seeing or feeling any sign of the elves' special magic.

"Err... Ethan, are you sure Gryffindor will win this match?" Anthony asked me, and if I didn't know the outcome of the match beforehand I would also doubt it, as the Slytherin players were dominating the game.

"Well, I'm sure…" I started to say, but I stopped when I noticed a line of magic heading towards the bludger.

Following that line, I saw hidden under the west stands Dobby, who was flicking his fingers to move the bludger.

'I found you' I thought, already getting ready to cast a silent spell on the bludger or Dobby.

End.

(End AN: Hey my dear and wonderful readers!

I've been having a lot of fun and getting emotional lately, as since last year I started following the CSGO world. Currently the team I want to win this Major is Imperial, which has an incredible history and team.

And you? Do you like CSGO? If so, which team do you support?)
