Yeah! Here's the new chapter!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After my duel with Quirrellmort, I started training madly in the Room of Requirement, knowing that when the school year was over I wouldn't be able to use it for quite some time.
I trained so much that there were even moments when I slept in the Room of Requirement, again grateful for the fact that Ravenclaws had their own rooms.
Sometimes my friends were curious to know where I was going all day, but I always found some excuse to say. I really wanted to show them the room, but a selfish wish of mine was to keep it a secret for as long as possible, because I thought that was my secret and special place in the castle, and every man, or human being, would like to have their own "Bat-Cave".
But I also didn't intend to keep this a secret for long, as I knew the room would be revealed in fifth year if there weren't any major changes to the story. I intended to introduce the room to the twins first, as they also revealed one of their important secrets to me, which was the Marauder's Map.
But there's also another reason I don't show my friends the room right now. I won't show them yet because I know that inside the Room of Requirement, or more specifically, the Room of Hidden Things, there is an object enchanted with the worst dark magic the wizarding world knows, a Horcrux.
Rowena Ravenclaw's Diadem, who is also one of Riddle's Horcruxes, is kept in that room, and I don't want any of my friends anywhere near that thing.
Of all the Horcruxes made by Riddle, only two of them were used by humans, which was his diary and Salazar Slytherin's Locket, and both ended up messing with the minds of those who used them, so I doubt the diadem won't do the same.
I still don't have a way to destroy the locket, since of the three ways to destroy it, only one of them is viable for me now, which is the Killing Curse. But I still can't cast this spell, and yes, I've tried it before.
Also, I don't think it would be a good idea to destroy a piece of Voldemort's soul, just when he's in the castle, so I can only wait for an opportune moment where I'll also have some means to destroy him.
But changing the subject, let's talk about something lighter, like the things that are happening in the castle.
On Saturday the 10th, the Slytherin versus Hufflepuff match took place, and even though it wasn't as exciting as the other matches, it was still a very disputed match.
The fun thing about this game, however, was the fact that Hufflepuffs liked to play by following all the rules, while Slytherins liked to cheat, which is why this game was called "The Clash of Good and Evil", something that actually started out as a joke.
At the end of that game, despite trying with all their might, Hufflepuff lost to Slytherin. And with this victory for Slytherin, who didn't score many goals, it was obvious that the final game between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw would be the decisive match.
Teams from both houses were doubling their training schedule, most notably Gryffindor who had more pressure being put on them than Ravenclaw, as Ravenclaw had a higher goal sum than Gryffindor.
Gryffindor needs to beat Ravenclaw by a big points difference, and they knew this was going to be tough, so the entire team strove to train as hard as their bodies could, with Wood being very vocal about the importance of training.
And I don't even need to mention that the members of both teams were annoyed with their captains, since the game would only take place in the second week of June.

-May 25th-
Today was supposed to be the day that Potter, Nev, Malfoy, and Weasley, who now took Granger's place, would have their detention in the Forbidden Forest, where Hagrid would try to investigate a strange creature that was killing the unicorns.
However, as this time the unicorns were being protected by the centaurs, no deaths occurred, resulting in Hagrid not having to worry about this creature. And luckily, since the last time Quirrellmort was driven out of the forest by the centaurs he's decided to stay quiet and hidden, so there's no danger of him appearing again, at least for now.
And since there was no detention in the Forbidden Forest, the 4 students who received the detention will have to do something else, maybe something like cleaning the cauldrons of the potions class or helping Filch organize the Trophy Room.
The only downside is that Potter won't come to the conclusion that Voldemort is looking for the Philosopher's Stone, unless even with my interference he still finds Firenze somehow.
Although centaurs are difficult to understand, and they love to predict events using divination, mostly with the support of the skies, so I can't expect things to go a certain way with them, especially Firenze, who when compared to centaurs who are already weird in their own right, we realize he's twice as weird.
I also know that it was yesterday that Potter overheard Quirrell talking to Voldemort and assumed it was Snape threatening Quirrell, and all this thanks to my knowledge of the canon and thanks to my dear map, which allowed me to see Potter sneaking in to eavesdrop on their conversation.
But even with certain changes, I still knew that the long-awaited confrontation was close to happening, and even though I had decided not to get involved with Potter and Quirrellmort's confrontation, I had to rethink my decision.
The main reason for this is that I've seen how Quirrell isn't acting as rationally as I'd hoped, so I can only assume that Voldemort's possession is taking a toll on him, and after our confrontation where for the most part he looked more like a wild animal than a human, I began to doubt whether it would be wise to let him and an 11-year-old face each other.
And that's why I started to prepare for the confrontation.

-Ravenclaw common room-
"Padma, where is the answer to that question?" Terry asked, showing his parchment to Padma, who looked carefully.
"Hmm, if I'm not mistaken the answer is in the 3rd Greanwich spellbook part 2 or 3, I don't remember exactly" she replied.
"Is question number 19?" Corner asked.
"Is question 17" Terry replied, and Corner then started looking at his own parchment.
"About how does a reversible enchantment work on transfigured objects?" he asked, earning a nod from Terry, "I think it's part 3" he said.
"Hmm... Oh, I found it. Thanks" Terry said, after looking through the aforementioned book.
My classmates and I were in the common room doing a little review before exams started, as we all wanted to get good grades, and many of us struggled in certain subjects, Potions being the main one.
I was mainly here to help others, as my work on Charms and Transfiguration is basically perfect, and the rest of the subjects mostly use the theoretical part in the exams, something that didn't worry me at all, since I read a lot of books on the said subjects, and thanks to Occlumency I could perfectly remember the information in these books.
"I've heard from some older students that Professor Snape is going to have us create a deadly poison that we'll have to drink, and then he'll then have us create a cure for that poison, without information or help" Stephen commented, causing all of us to turn to him.
"And you believed them?" I asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"Do you think it's not possible?" he asked back.
Terry opened his mouth to reply, but then he thought for a while and then closed his mouth again.

"Is it too late to ask for a school transfer?" Lisa asked, and we all started to wonder if that option would be viable.
End.

(End AN: Sigh, another day of insomnia. Yesterday I went to sleep at 5am, and woke up at 8am, and now I can't sleep again... sometimes I think it would be wonderful if Sleeping Draft existed.
Changing the subject, I'm currently very interested in mystery movies, but unfortunately I don't know anyone who also likes this genre to be able to recommend movies to me.
I've watched both Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr.; the two films based on the works of Agatha Christie, Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express; and a movie that I didn't expect to be good, even with an amazing cast, Knives Out, which is wonderful.
I'd like to ask you to recommend mystery movies for me, so I can make good use of my damn insomnia.)
