In one of my many trips with Hagrid to Professor Kettleburn's creature enclosure, Hagrid asked me not so discreetly if I happened to have any books on dragon breeding, claiming he was just curious.

Even if I didn't know from the books why he was asking me this, the me of today, knowing Hagrid, would have obviously already figured he was asking me this because he had a dragon with him.

I think when you're really big, like ten feet tall, you tend not to be very good at controlling your body and facial expressions.

"Hagrid... You have a dragon egg, don't you?" I asked him with a blank face.

"N-no, where did you hear that? Hehe" he denied laughing nervously. And her nervousness only increased further under my intense gaze.

"Show me," I said in a tone of finality, obviously not taking no for an answer.

"B-but... I-I... Sigh... Alright" the half-giant finally accepted that he had no other choice, "How did you find out I have a dragon egg?" he asked curiously.

"Besides you being too obvious? I saw the egg in your fireplace when I was at the door of your hut today, and I also noticed the intense heat coming from inside the hut, and putting two and two together I realized that it was a dragon egg" I shrugged, ignoring Hagrid's surprised look.

"I don't know if I'm surprised you found out so easily, or disappointed in myself that I didn't know how to hide the secret well," Hagrid muttered downcast.

"Don't feel that way" I decided to cheer him up, "I doubt that many people can hide a dragon for very long"

'And I think that's because he's a XXXXX class creature that grows to be the size of a house, and maybe even bigger than that,' I thought dryly.

"I'm really not very good at hiding creatures," Hagrid muttered, remembering Aragog, "But well, maybe the next creature I can hide better," he proclaimed, with renewed vigor.

"Yeah, I believe you," I said, patting the half-giant's arm supportively, "Next time you'll be able to hide— Wait... Next what?!"

After our tour of the magical creatures' enclosure, Hagrid said that when I had time I could stop by his hut to see the dragon egg, which I obviously agreed as I've been wanting to see this dragon since the beginning of the school year.

I knew it wouldn't be until my fourth year that I would get another chance to see a dragon this up close, and even then, I would only see them from afar. With Norberta's birth I could see her and touch her, and how many people can say they've managed to touch a baby dragon in their lifetime?

And there's also the main reason I want to see a dragon, which is to test my Beast Talk with it to see if the established connection is as amazing as the connection I had with the house elves.

And even if the connection isn't all that special, I'll still be touching a fucking dragon! This is basically an impossible achievement for everyone in my old world, and I'm going to be able to do it!

Although being reborn, being a wizard, entering Hogwarts and meeting the main characters of Harry Potter, touching other magical animals and plants, and being able to do magic, can already be considered impossible things that many in my old world, and even from the current world, would like to have conquered.

Well, lucky me then.

-Hagrid's Hut-

*Knock! Knock!*

"Hagrid! Open the door!" I yelled as I knocked on his door.

"*Woof! Woof! Woof!*"

"I'm on my way! And be quiet Fang" Hagrid said from inside the hut. I then heard the door open.

"Hi Ethan. So you came" Hagrid said, opening the door and seeing me.

"Of course, you invited me" I shrugged, walking into the hut and patting the head of the Fang who was hovering around me.

As promised, Hagrid had invited me to have tea at his hut and also to show me the dragon egg, and as soon as he invited me I wasted no time and came straight to his hut.

"So this is the egg?" I said, approaching the fireplace where the egg was resting.

I noticed that the hut was warmer than usual, and I noticed with my Magic Vision that the egg was absorbing the heat and residual magic to strengthen the little creature inside.

And speaking of the unborn dragon, with my Magic Vision I could see a big point of light inside the egg. That light was dragon magic, and it felt hot and dangerous, and if even an unborn dragon looked so dangerous, imagine a fully grown dragon.

"Yeah, that's the little one" Hagrid nodded, tossing some more wood onto the fire, "Isn't that the prettiest thing?" he asked affectionately.

"Uhum" I nodded my head unconsciously, as I was concentrating on using Beast Talk to try to open up a connection with the baby dragon.

And I was incredibly surprised to feel mixed emotions of surprise and happiness coming from inside the egg.

'He's probably thinking that this connection is his mother talking to him' I thought, and immediately felt sad to realize just now that this little one was taken from her mother, and that later she would have to be raised in the Dragon Sanctuary in Romania.

"This is a Norwegian Dragon's egg, and from what I've read in the books, it won't be long before it hatches," Hagrid said, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"And what are you going to do after he hatches?" I asked.

"Obviously I'm going to raise him like my own son" Hagrid replied, and even though I already knew the answer I still looked at him blankly.

"In a wooden hut?"

"Yes"

"..."

"..."

"Amazing," I said sarcastically.

"I know, right?" and Hagrid didn't seem to notice.

"Sigh... Well, if you need help with the little one after she hatches, just send me a note with Hermes," I said, knowing it would be no use trying to convince Hagrid now that keeping the dragon wouldn't be wise.

"She?" he asked, and I realized I said something I wasn't supposed to know.

"Well... The egg has a 50% chance of being a boy and a 50% chance of being a girl, so as you keep calling it 'he' I decided to call it 'she', so one of us will still be right" I shrugged.

"Oh that makes sense" Hagrid nodded, "But I think this idea coming from a Ravenclaw is something to be expected hahahaha" he chuckled patting my shoulder.

'Should I be offended by this?' I asked myself.

"And about helping me with the dragon, I would be very grateful, as I couldn't find much in the books about caring for a dragon beyond the basics," he admitted, scratching his head in embarrassment.

"Don't worry, it shouldn't be that hard, hehe" I reassured him, but inside I was sweating as I knew what trouble this dragon was going to give us.

-March 20th – My mother's birthday-

Today is my mom's first birthday that I spend away from her and my family, not being able to celebrate with them, and I was a little sad about it, but decided that to take my mind off it I would prepare an amazing present for the my mom.

I knew a simple wizarding item wasn't good enough for her, so I asked Anthony, Terry, and the twins for help on what to get my mom, but the idea of presents they gave wasn't…very good to give to a woman, especially if she is your mother, so I switched to more feminine help.

I asked all of my girls friends, and after listening to their opinions and ideas, I asked the Professor Flitwick and Professor McGonagall for help in making my mother's present. I also asked Professor Sprout to help me get a flower to give to my mother along with her present.

After some work and lots of ideas, I gave my mom a beautiful dress that changes color according to the necklaces and earrings she wears, along with a lilac flower that sings a soft song that was in a small glass dome. I also sent some wizard sweets as my mom loved them the last time I took them home

'I think getting a present for a woman was the hardest thing I've had to plan this year,' I thought, hoping my mom would like the present.

End.

(End AN: Hello my cool readers, it's me... DIO!

*Cough! Cough!* Sorry, I had to make that joke.

I unfortunately don't have a computer, as mine broke some time ago, so I have to write and edit the chapters on my smartphone, which sucks, but I got used to it a bit.

And speaking of smartphones, I started playing some mobile games on the recommendation of my friends.

I'm trying to beat The Room 1 and 2, which is a game style that I really like (puzzle games, or Escape Room style games, and mystery).

The other game I'm playing is like a mobile CSGO called Standoff 2, and I really enjoyed it. If you have time and want some games to play, I recommend these.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter!)
