Ohayo guys! Here's the new chapter!

________________________________________________________________________________________

The Christmas and New Years were over, which meant the holidays too. On January 6th, my family and I went to the station, where I was going to board the train to go back to school. After yet another tearful farewell and promises not to make too much trouble at school, I boarded the Hogwarts express.

On the train I met Stephen, who thanked me enormously for tickets to his soccer team's game, and Terry, who had his face in a Sherlock Holmes book, and I was curious to realize that this was not the book I sent him, until he explained to me that he had finished reading it on vacation and that the book that he was reading was given to him by Stephen.

Finding a compartment for us, we sat down and waited for the train to arrive at Hogwarts. We didn't wait for Anthony as he warned us in a letter that he was in Hogsmead and that he would then not take the train to the castle as he only needed to cross the village to get there. With that the boys and I started talking about our Christmas and the presents we received.

-Hogwarts-

As soon as we arrived at the school we were ushered into the Great Hall for the beginning of the year banquet. And as I was led through the hallways I met Anthony and some of my friends who had also gone home for the holidays.

I greeted them all and we then chatted until we reached the Great Hall, where we parted ways to go to tables of our respective houses.

At the Ravenclaw table I greeted my few colleagues who decided to stay at the school, who were already seated at the table waiting for us so the banquet could be started

Once everyone was seated, the Headmaster started the banquet, after a short speech, obviously.

When the banquet was over, we went to our common room, and when we got there, we all started talking about how our holiday vacation went and the presents we each received.

-Following day-

After the first two classes of the day were over, I parted ways with my friends and went to the kitchens, wanting to eat in silence as I thought about my next steps to get the Philosopher's Stone.

However, I had a setback in this plan of mine, as I was not the only student in the kitchens.

"Look, my birth mate, the great Loki is here in our humble presence" Fred, who was in the kitchen with his brother, said.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked, and then I noticed the little vial they had in their hands, "Another prank?"

"Do you still need to ask?" George asked back with a raised eyebrow as he tried to hand one of the vials to one of the elves.

"...True" I shrugged.

"And since you're here, our little raven, we've learned that you enjoy exploring the Forbidden Forest, and we'd like to know if you'd like to join us on our next adventure to try and find the nest of acromantulas Hagrid told us about" Fred said, after discreetly pouring the liquid from one of the vial into the pea puree when one of the elves got distracted.

"Are you seriously, and really thinking of looking for a nest of hundreds of giant, wild creatures that are probably hungry for human flesh in their habitat that happens to be a place that obviously favors them?" I asked with a raised eyebrow. I then sighed and looked at them amazed, "I don't know if I should be surprised at your courage or marveled at your stupidity"

"I prefer you to be enchanted by our tremendous beauty and incredible intelligence" George said wiping the imaginary dust off his robes, earning an eye roll from me.

"But then tell me, why the hell do you want to do something so stupid like that?"

"We are Gryffindors. We don't need reasons to do something stupid" Fred said with a shrug.

"..."

"..."

"...Fair"

"But then... Will you accompany us?" George asked.

"Meh, why not?" I said shrugging my shoulder.

"Yes! Now we know we'll be protected as we have the Troll Slayer with us" Fred cheered, but his celebration was short-lived when he started getting an attack from the cutlery I animated with Oppugno Jinx.

"But seriously, we probably won't need protection," George said, ignoring the 'Probably?' that I said, "What can we find there that would be so bad and dangerous? A hideous bloodsucking creature?" he laughed.

Ignoring the fact that George basically just cursed us by playing with fate and luck, I immediately remembered an event in the franchise that I had overlooked.

Around this time Quirrellmort will start feeding on unicorns, and I realized that I can't let that happen, either because I don't want to see these beautiful creatures I've befriended get hurt, or because I need to take whatever chance I get to make Quirrellmort weaker for his confrontation with Potter.

'I need to warn the unicorns and maybe the centaurs about this, and I also need to keep an eye on Quirrellmort in his Dracula moments' I thought.

"So since we're all agreed, when we've got everything ready we'll let you know so we can go on our amazing adventure in the forbidden forest!" George said, throwing his arms theatrically and nearly hitting an unsuspecting elf.

"Okay" I nodded my head.

"Ethan, forgive me! I will never call you a Troll Slayer again!" exclaimed Fred, who was still being attacked by the silverware.

"Hmm... Okay, I forgive you"

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"E-Err... So... Could you cancel the spell please?" Fred asked.

"Nah"

"Why are you so cruel!!?"

-Forbidden Corridor - At Night-

Currently I was in the forbidden corridor again, this time with the intention of better inspecting said corridor and, if possible, trying to verify the challenges that the teachers set to reach the stone. I also wanted to know if the stone was already being kept here, as I didn't know exactly when it was put in the mirror, or even if it wasn't here before.

And that's why I was surprised when I reached the hallway and noticed the large amount of magic coming from the room where Fluffy and the passage to the challenges were.

And that was enough to confirm to me that the stone was already stored here.

'Apparently the Headmaster has already kept the stone in the Mirror of Erised' I thought, also noticing the same peculiar magic of the mirror leaking from the room.

'Strange... If the Philosopher's Stone is so dense in magic that I can feel it from this distance, why didn't I feel it in the Headmaster's office? Didn't he keep it there? And I basically walked all over the castle and yet I haven't felt the stone before, so where was it stored?' I questioned myself, very confused but also curious.

'More importantly, what the hell is this stone made of? Because I doubt that any magic object can expel such strong magic if it were made with common magic items'

And as I thought, I couldn't help but notice that the door now had a few more wards, and by the magic of the wards I could tell they were placed by the Headmaster.

'He must know that Quirrellmort is going to try to get the stone at some point' I realized, 'Well... At least the wards are just some simple monitoring ward, so I can still try to get around them to get the stone without the Headmaster realize'

And realizing that, and seeing that I would probably only have this free time, I decided that this would be a perfect time to pick up the stone.

'Well... let's start'

________________________________________________________________________

-Following day-

Picking up the stone was not difficult at all, as I already knew what to expect in the challenges left by the teachers.

The only ones I had any problems with were Professor Quirrell's challenges, Professor Snape's, and the Mirror of Erised.

The Professor Quirrell's challenge was a Troll, which after a combination of the Disillusionment Spell, and one to remove whatever scent I had, I managed to get past him. Professor Snape's was the potions riddle and the fire wall, which I managed to get through thanks to making a potion in advance, so I didn't have to decipher the riddle to find the correct potion, nor did I have to worry about whether the vial with the potion would fill itself after I drank it.

Now, the most difficult challenge for both me and Quirrellmort was the Mirror of Erised, which would only give the stone to those who wanted to find the stone, but not use it.

A good thing for me was that I didn't care much about the Elixir of Life or how much gold the stone could make. I simply wanted to see it for studies and to keep it out of everyone's reach, as I only trusted her true owner, Nicolas Flamel, to keep it. I didn't even trust Headmaster.

And thanks to these thoughts of mine, the incantation in the mirror considered that I was 'worthy' to keep the stone.

And at this moment, after receiving the stone, I took the opportunity to take one last look in the mirror, hoping to see the image of my old family one last time before the mirror was destroyed.

After that, I cleaned up any mess I'd left behind in the challenges, wanting to clean up my tracks, and headed back to my dorm room. Once there I put the stone in one of the secret and safe compartments of my suitcase, planning to study the stone only when I get back home.

End.
