"Try me, you bony bastard." Amaud had enough hearing Dha'Zurai whine about the golden water and its potent affect.
It already supressed the Arch-Lich enough that it decided to dig a small hole to protect itself from the dangers of the golden water.
Just a single drop of the golden water could start break away what remained of Dha'Zurai's damaged body, so the Arch-Lich did its best to keep itself safe from the water.

He could sense its affect around the border of the lake as new life started to sprout.
